This is horrible experience for me. Ordered DoorDash $51.00 worth!! I ordered the pork broth and I did not get it. I paid for seasonal veggies $3.00 and the spicy bomb for $5.00..did not get it either. This is what it looked like when it arrived. Broth was half way, not even the pork broth I asked for. I should know the difference, because I'm Asian!!! Seasonal veggies??? Ribbons of carrots, 3 pieces of corn and the broth is damned chicken broth!! Please, do not pay for this much for a tastes less tonkatsu ramen, I wasted my money and not even good ramen. Horrible and I don't recommend this place for anyone at Ukiah. Make your own, not worth it!!! Soooo BADDD!!! They should be CLOSED down for charging this much for HORRIBLE Ramen place!!! HORRIBLE!!

Service = amazing. Tonkotsu = creamy, flavorful, and borderline addictive. Presentation = chef-level flex. Mango drink? A whole tropical vacation in a glass. I'm absolutely coming back. Brian is awesome every single time I've come from Sacramento! You would think he's the owner! Very personable!

This was FIRE . Chefs Danny & Chaz were amazing both are obviously passionate about Ramen it shows through their service and the tasty food. It's not many places in Ukiah that offer this level I will definitely be back it's a favorite for me.

I would have never guessed that the best ramen I've ever had would be in a small, tucked-away town up north. I ordered the miso chicken ramen, and my fiancé got the filet mignon bowl--both were incredible. The broth was deep, savory, and perfectly balanced, and the noodles had the perfect texture. The noodles are made in-house using heirloom wheat from the Mendocino Grain Project, all locally produced in Ukiah. He even crushes his own turmeric--you can taste that level of mastery in every bite. The space feels relaxed and sophisticated, with a creative edge that complements the artistry of the food. I've had ramen from Japantown in San Francisco and other top spots, but this one's my favorite.

Run, don't walk. The most insane savory umami broth, perfect local filet mignon slices and delicate chewy noods. Cute spot and Danny took care of us -- good reccos when I was having a tough time deciding.

Ramen was great! Bryan hooked it up and I'll definitely be back with the wife! Laid back ambience perfect for lunch or dinner hang.

Food was presently good Loved the ambiance, food presentation, and the background music w/low lighting. We will definitely be back - great place to go! Definitely recommend it

Some of the best Ramen I've had in my life. The broth was so rich and subtle. Highly recommended.

Twas a solo, business trip on a Friday night, so I was able to experience this place on full, local display. Sat at the sushi bar and I was able to watch the chef make my Oco personally. The only reason I left a star out is because as I sat at one of those bar spots, I was exposed to the back side of the deep fryer so not only was it warm but it was a touch scummy. It needed to be cleaned thoroughly. (To me that something you expect in Japanese culture is the expected cleanliness.) The service was not bad, perhaps not top notch, maybe due to the fact it was a full house with tables turning over. Overall well done and I will return.

It's fried noodles on top of a pile of cabbage, sauce, egg crepe, sauce, and other choice of topping, and (of course) sauce. I ordered the "Japanese", pork and mushroom with sweet and spicy sauce. When I got it. I thought to myself that I needed a straw for the sauce. I would order again and try the other flavors, but less sauce. We also ate the "fish sticks", cooked spicy tuna, with spicy sauce on top. Not bad The secret to good sushi is the rice, and fresh ingredients. The fish was fine. The rice was not too sweet and the right consistency. Not bad. The service was great. Very attentive and plenty of help. The atmosphere was pleasing. It space must have been a Latin style restaurant cuz it has kind of a Latin vibe. Regardless it was a good time and good food. On a humorous note, I noticed we were the only Asians, other than the owners, in the restaurant. That's was concerning. . But I'm glad we got over it. There aren't many Asians here.

The sushi,…read morethough pre-made, is just as delicious, and the usual tempura and soup is available as well. In variety, it doesn't compare to Oco, but what can you expect from a little take-out shop? They must regularly replenish their refrigerated goods, because my spicy veggie roll tasted quite fresh. The rice was soft, not hard and congealed as it becomes when kept cold for too long. My friend got something called Jenna's role, which I actually preferred to my own; it contained marinated shitakes and tempura green beans--delicious. Overall, it's a convenient and comfortable spot for a quick lunch.

They have a very large selection of sake, and the servers know and talk with the locals which is so nice to see in our modern society. The sashimi was absolutely stunningly good. Usually we like sitting at the bar to see the chefs do their thing, but this place is not like that at least the night we went to which was surprising cause Japanese establishments typically are cooking out in the open. They had a lot of different sakes which was really nice to see but no draft beer unless I missed it. They let you pick a cup for your sake which is so cute, I loved that. All their table wear was so beautiful. We got a fruity sake first and loved that one. The second one was the "goku" it was giving straight sake. I'd prolly stick to fruitier ones. The server was very kind and she was easy to talk to and provided great service. As for the food, I thought it was pretty okay! We ordered the omakase which was $75 per person and it was very filling. We had trout sashimi which had some bite texturally not my fave fish tbh. Potato Salad which a jammy egg omg I loved it but wondered how it'd taste if the egg was marinated. The mushroom soup was lemony and oniony it was pretty good. The karage could've been crispier imo and I wish the wasabi aoli was a lil different but it was still good. The robata was hella good my fave was the meatball one, I'm not a big fan of cartilage but that it very well cooked, and I appreciated the pile seasoning provided as well. The strawberry topped panna cotta was so good no notes. Overall, pretty good and I'd go again if I was in this area and order individual dishes especially the potato salad and panna cotta. Not really the vibe of an izakaya imo but def a nice Japanese restaurant with some twists.

They have used lots of decor in remembrance of the previous business, like the big saw outside and the saw lights. Quaint establishment w/ patio seating, small bar (4 seats), good amount of tables, wooden floors. Greeted immediately with a smile. Menus, utensils and water provided quickly after we sat. Our server shared the special of the day, what wasn't currently available and when asked of his favorite quickly responded with some gems. My partner knew exactly what she wanted - Pineapple Cauliflower Salad22 (Crispy Asian cauliflower, mixed greens, cabbage, carrots, peanuts, crispy rice noodles, sesame seeds, crunchy garlic, pineapple pico, green onions, and edamame with a Basil-lime vinaigrette 1/2 Cauliflower salad). I had a bite and it was very flavorful. The cauliflower looked like orange chicken. This dish is vegan btw. I was torn between the fish and chips and the Jalapeno Bacon burger. The server said it was a favorite earlier so I went with it. (Grilled Short Rib, Brisket, Chuck patty served on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheddar cheese, bacon, fried jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and onions with our overloaded sauce). Man was this good! The burger was juicy, the thick cuts of bacon and the sauce. Everything complimented one another nicely. They make their ketchup in house throughout the week. You can tell too! It has it's own flavor that outdoes regular ketchup. The fries were crispy, lightly salted and just enough. Service was friendly. We were checked on throughout our meal to ensure the food was good and so were we. They do offer a rewards program we signed up for. This is definitely going to be a go to spot for us.
