Went on girls night to exchange small gifts and enjoy some soup since it was rainy that day. The food was okay the dessert was really good. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's a place I've always wanted to visit just never made the time and glad we picked this place. I would come back again. Service felt a little rushed but other than that we had great time.

Very good Ramen spot. The ramen hakata tonkotsu this was very tasty. I got it with the chatsudon. The service was fast and friendly. The servers were very thoughtful. The ambience was excellent. I really enjoyed the interior design and decoration.

I was in the mood for some ramen, and this place was nearby! We had the ("grilled") vegetarian gyoza to start off. My main gripe was the gyoza tasted very oily, which overpowered the rest of the dish. Next, I ordered the hakata ramen, which is essentially a tonkotsu ramen. The broth was okay; there was some flavor, but it wasn't as deep or complex as I would've liked. They do have sesame seeds, togarashi, and spice seasoning at the tables, which I added to help in the flavor department. The soft-boiled egg was more like a medium-boiled egg; the yolk wasn't runny whatsoever. The cha shu (pork slices) seemed kind of old; either the pork fat/oil went rancid. The price wasn't too bad either, I'd say Ramen Hakata is less expensive than most other ramen places I've been at in DFW.

Main rating is accurate. Service was EXCELLENT, interior and ambiance cozy. But the food lacking a bit: noodles too firm, broth was good, egg was good, but the chashu was tough and lacked flavor. I don't think I'll be back for the price. If I could give a .5 just for the service and fun atomosphere I would.

Garlic creamy carbonara with chicken and soft boiled eggs, Tonkotsu ramen, and miso broth ramen. Followed by green tea and black tea.

This spot has my heart. I have never enjoyed fresh ramen this much. The service was excellent and especially kind. I love the vibes in here. Lighting that relaxes, artwork that represents what it's all about, and great prices for the portions you receive. I would definetly recommend to any friend!

the food was so good, but what got me was the coleslaw sauce here! wow! If you are in the Dallas area, this is a must try. #califoniavisitor

visiting from California and this coleslaw sauce really caught my attention, not to mention the food is amazing!

Adding a second review with the tsukemen and korokke which were superb. Excellent prompt and attentive service. Also cool posters and interior decor. Definitely recommended!

Interior was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The food however didn't have much protein and flavor was nothing special. Also there was a roach in the bathroom- yikes. But the attentive staff and the service was a 10/10

Visited on 10/1. Honestly this is the worst food I have had in the Addison area. The rice tasted like it was Minute rice or boil in a bag rice. The beef which was probably about 1 oz of it was bland, and chewy. Absolutely no flavor. I added the broth to my bowl to try and help the flavor but it did not help at all, in fact made it much worse. I could not finish my bowl. It is overpriced. $15 for a bowl of rice. To add insult to injury I tried adding hot sauce to make it taste better, only to see I got charged for that as well. I would not recommend.stay away from this place.

FOOD SOO GOOD THAT I FORGOT TO TAKE A PICTURE. The nice server took away my bowl but trust me yall it is delicious. Good vibes and music !

Good but not great. I have eaten a lot of ramen, in the US as well as Japan, so I'm picky, but this didn't grab me the way I'd hoped. The garlic tonkotsu wasn't terribly flavorful and the noodles were quite al dente, erring on the side of too hard in my opinion. The sparkling yuzu beverage was tasty but very sweet. Small place, not a lot of tables, but ramen is one of those things that's best right away rather than takeout.

Hakata is my number one place to go for ramen!! It's always fresh and hot! My favorite is the kimchi ramen, as it has a whole variety in it. If you like kimchi, you'll most def like this. The service is always fast, at times they are slow to check in with you to see if you need anything else. The ambiance is cozy, quiet place to have lunch/dinner with your partner. Give it a try, you won't regret it

I'm pretty sure that Yuzu Shio Ramen was replaced to Shio Ramen. I did not taste Yuzu at all. However, I loved it.

As soon as we sat down we ordered a round of drinks (my lychee martini was DELICOUS) and a Chicken Karaage. Unfortunately, we quickly noticed that there was a hair in the chicken. We let our waitress know and they were quick to replace the dish for us, no questions asked! The flavor of the karaage was delicious so definitely glad they were quick to fix this issue. One of the people dining with us has a serious fish allergy and the restaurant staff was super accommodating and found something that he could have off the menu. They went so far as to remove the glaze from the brisket since it included fish sauce. Overall the food and the drinks were delicious and the staff was great! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu and enjoy their outside dining area when the weather is nice!

I ordered the Thai wings, and when they arrived, I immediately noticed an unpleasant smell. I took one bite and sent them back. They had no real flavor, and the smell made them hard to eat. I then got the crispy chicken sandwich. It was somewhat salty, but it also tasted like it had been fried in old grease, which left a bad taste in my mouth. My wife ordered the fried ribs. After asking for some sauce to go with them, they actually ended up being the best thing we ordered. Even so, the lingering aftertaste still reminded us of old grease. The drinks were decent, but overall this is not a place I would come back to or try again.

I went the day before Thanksgiving and the japanese chef was a one man show. He was the only one running the establishment because everyone else had left to go to Japan for the holiday. He is so so so so nice. I don't go back to restaurants very often but this place has my heart. This time I got the spicy pork ramen (17), spicy garlic chicken ramen (18), and then got the spicy garlic pork ramen (19) togo. I will say it is a little bit salty, with the garlic ones being more salty than the non garlic ones. However the garlic ones do have more flavor. There's not that much meat/protein either just one piece of meat and an egg. The could be slightly better but it's still good. It also just has bamboo shoots but nothing else. A very simple bowl. Ambiance is nice, it feels upscale but also homey at the same time. They have an open kitchen concept which I like.

I had to dig for it. I know they probably put the meat at the bottom so it'll warm up with the broth, but I prefer it at the top. The egg was whole and cooked so it was a little runny inside, which I liked. I also liked the noodles. Unrelated to the food, I sat on the bench and there was a customer sitting on the bench beside me. She kept shifting around and causing the entire bench to move, which I didn't like.

The noodles were delightfully chewy and the broth had a rich and full flavor without being overly fatty; I finished every drop of the garlicky goodness. The pork chashu was tender and the egg had a jammy orange yolk. The Birria ramen sounded interesting but a bit gimmicky. They also have chicken ramen for those who cannot appreciate the deliciousness that pork offers. The interior was cozy and upscale for a ramen spot and they have an outdoor patio which is nearly as large as the inside. The service was respectable but not noteworthy. Cons: A little pricey but I guess that's par for the course in Preston Hollow. $23 for my bowl of ramen after tax & tip. Moriya Shokuda is still my current favorite ramen spot but JINYA is very solid! 4.5 stars!

Parking wasn't bad either, there are lots and a garage nearby. However, the food itself fell flat for me. We ordered the crispy chicken happy hour special, which comes with a side salad. The chicken was on the dry side. Whenever I order Kaarage, it usually comes with a dipping sauce, but there was none here and that would've really helped out. The dressing on the side salad was way too acidic, making it hard to eat as well. In addition, we ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer. The takoyaki themselves were pretty solid, but the texture of the mayo was off. I'm not sure if they make their mayo in-house, but i noticed it was curdled. EDIT: after reading the restaurant's response, the texture I noticed was because it's an egg tartar sauce For the ramen, we ordered Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Creamy Veggie Ramen. Pricing is standard for DFW ramen restaurants, although *slightly* higher than some others (by like $1). The base ramen comes with a good variety of toppings! However, the ramen was just okay. The noodles are on the skinnier side, which I prefer thicker, chewier noodles. The pork chashu serving was small, and it tasted kind of old and wasn't that tender nor flavorful. The broth was just alright. I prefer soft-boiled, jammy ramen eggs, but the ajitama here was cooked longer than I would've liked. Ironically, I thought the veggie ramen was *much* better. The broth had better flavor, and they use different noodles than the tonkotsu, which were thicker (and exactly what I like!). Lastly, we had the matcha tiramisu for dessert. On a positive note, the matcha flavor was detectable. However, the tiramisu crème wasn't that fluffy, and there were noticeable amounts of undissolved sugar.

Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. It was surprisingly hot for a good 15 mins. The meat was well seasoned and the onion, cheese meat and sauce all blended so well. Little bit salty and a little bit sweet with the grill onions. The wings were also crispy with this nice sweet chili sauce! Cooked to perfection! I really liked the curry pho! It's a green curry with a little kick to it. They have quite a few different vegan options and this is a dish that can be made vegan. You can dip the Birria tacos in this pho consume which is so fire! It's so good you just want to drink it up lol I added some of their habenero hot sauce and it was just the perfect birria bites. The phorrito is pho filling wrapped in rice and fried!
