Very cool vibe inside!!! Food was good! Interesting fusion dishes! I did think the duck tacos were too salty for my taste but other than that everything else was yummy! Service was decent!

We've passed by this restaurant so many times and finally decided to give it a try--and wow, yum yum yum. We ordered quite a few dishes, and every single one just made sense. The food is creative, unique, and beautifully blends flavors from both cultures in the best way possible. From peking duck tacos to handpulled birria noodles, to birria burrito, everything is delicious and Bold! Service was fast, attentive, and genuinely polite (always a win). And let's talk about the interior--so well designed. As a designer, I absolutely loved the fun, unique decor. You can tell a lot of thought went into the space. Safe to say, we'll definitely be back.

Rating: 4 / 5 I was excited for this. I am from Hong Kong and Chinese is my kind of cuisine. I also love Mexican food. So it felt like best of both worlds for me. There were a few things I was disappointed, specifically the service (in the meantime, still want to give a shoutout to our server, Daniel!) I personally like the ambiance of the restaurant. The neon light signs are super cute! However, I found it very interesting that the backdrop was the Chinatown in Bangkok - not sure what the connection is there LOL. Now let's talk about food - I didn't take pictures for all the dishes we ordered - listing the dishes we ordered based on my ratings from best to worst: 1. Peking Duck Taco 2. Birria Fried Rice 3. Birria Noodle 4. Matcha Bun 5. Black Lava Bun 6. Wagyu Beef Dumplings 7. Birria XLB Friends ordered the Hong Kong-style har gow. I am not a fan of har gow so I didn't try. Best: Peking Duck Taco I personally am a huge fan of the Peking Duck taco. The traditional way of eating Peking Duck is wrapped with a thin piece of dough (if I describe this correctly). But the taco goes with the Peking Duck. The flavor of Peking Duck is there and I love it. 2nd Best: Birria Fried Rice I usually find birria too salty for my taste, but this saltiness blends well with the fried rice and it was flavorful. 3rd best: Birria Noodle Another surprise! The blend of birria, the broth and the ramen. The broth is a little salty for my taste but the overall taste was really good. 4th best: Matcha Bun A great dessert after all these dishes! A nice blend of matcha and the bun. Very creative way of using the matcha flavor! The other ones we ordered: - Birria XLB: it's really a meh for me. All of us (there were 5 of us) didn't even realize we were eating birria XLB until we started listing out the dishes we ordered. Also, may I ask - why were the spoons not provided? I had to awkwardly eat my XLB with the soup spilling all over the plate. I understand this restaurant is not catered to only Chinese people and many people may not know how to eat properly XLB, but still - please provide a spoon. - Wagyu Dumpling: another a-okay for me. i wouldn't say it's outstanding. - Black Lava Bun: not sure what happened with the texture of the custard. The flavor was there but it was very watery. I'll give a benefit of the doubt and say it was just a bad day for the custard. Here's my biggest complaint - the service. Again, Daniel (or was it Danny?) was great. It took forever for the finished / dirty dish to be cleaned up. I worked at a similar kind of restaurant before. I see there's a food runner and server. It's cool if the food runner was not cleaning up but I see the servers were walking around and not helping with cleaning up the dirty dishes. We had to ask several times to get the dishes out of the way since we ordered quite a bit. We were sitting by the kitchen and all I see was the manager looking straight ahead from the cashier (we sat on his left) and not even noticing our table needed some clean up. Then, we asked for a check not long after our dessert. It took a very long time to finally get our checks ready. Not sure what's the holdup. I don't see the restaurant being super understaffed. Overall review: I'll be honest - even though the birria has excellent flavors. The restaurant feels more Chinese than Mexican, not just by a little but a lot. I didn't get to try a lot of the Chinese dishes, but knowing they are wrapping dumplings on the spot and there's hand pulled noodles, I can imagine those dishes would be great. I don't see too much of the Mexican element in this fusion restaurant. I wouldn't give a strong yes that I'll come back but I'll consider in the future.

Unique concept! Mexican and Chinese fusion Menu features many favorites and new dishes that tantalize your tastebuds. Super clean with huge glass window for viewing chefs preparing food. Had the Kung Pau tacos and they were delicious! Add this to your must visit list

Overall solid place with a few standouts! Definitely not a huge fan of the fusion dishes, and think they were more of a miss Tried the walnut shrimp and Peking duck tacos. Didn't like the tortillas as they reminded me of Mission tortillas you buy in the grocery store. Peking duck tacos are a great concept, but putting Chinese food in a taco and calling it fusion is not really fusion in my opinion. Definitely skip the calamari, poorly fried and seasoning was meh. What you need to get here are the hand pulled noodles and dumpling options. The shu mai and xiao long bao were 10/10. I would come here just for those options. Xiao long bao I think I would argue best in Dallas. Reminded me of the XLB from Shanghai. Steamed dumplings were just ok. Dessert baos were not bad. Always fun to have chocolate XLB Service was standard. Decor is fun. Price is fair I think for who you get Definitely would come back!

10/10! Highly recommend Birria fried rice and Birria egg rolls. We ordered a bunch of stuff and everything was great, but those two dishes stood out tremendously to me and I don't think you can go wrong with them.

Date night and this was a place we had been wanting to try and so glad we did!! Yall there calamari is hands down the best I have had! Whatever seasoning they use its perfect. Wontons in chili oil was also the best I have had! The spice hits more at the end Shrimp honey comb dumplings were amazing but they did come out late so we were already hitting that full button at least I was! Now there kung pao chicken was good but compared to the other options it was mid I already know what I want to try when I go back

On the House fried wonton skins with a Chinese sweet and sour sauce and a Mexican cilantro sauce.

When my husband told me "I found a restaurant for us to try. It's a fusion of Chinese and Mexican!", I had my doubts. We had gone to one before and I didn't really enjoy it at all. But we went to give it a try. The interior is really cute with neon signs. The staff was so friendly and when they saw us eating everything, they genuinely looked so happy. We asked our waiter for recommendations and he gave us his opinions. The food ... We sat down and they gave us a bowl of fried wonton skins with 2 different sauces: Chinese Sweet and Sour and Mexican Cilantro. I have not had friend wonton skins for a long time. When the bowl looked almost empty they brought us another bowl all on the house. We wanted to try their Chino Mex portion of the menu and selected 3 dishes that popped out at us ... Juicy Juicy Birria Xiao Long Baos, huge and delicious Honey Walnut Shrimp with Pineapple Tacos, and the Birria Noodle Soup that was so good we ate and drank everything in the entire bowl. I was very skeptical at first but it has now become one of my favorite restaurants to bring my friends.

I absolutely loved this place! My favorite were the fried pork dumplings. These were filling and so full of flavor! I wish we ordered more. The birria noodles were exactly what we hoped for. The fusion between both worlds, was perfection! They close between 3PM-5PM, so plan accordingly. The place is a little on the smaller side, check in with the QR code when walking in, and the wait wasn't too bad. The wait staff was also very attentive. This restaurant is now among one of our favorites!

A very delicious fusion! My friend really enjoyed the fajita bao and I loved the szechuan dan dan noodles and the truffle xiao long bao was very truffly! Service was a bit spotty during peak lunchtime Saturday but I would definitely go back!

I had high hopes for this place and over all it was just okay, it definitely could have been better. I loved the decor of the restaurant and our server was extremely kind, but it was super busy when we arrived which might have been the problem. We ordered the spring rolls, calamari, hand pulled noodles, birria fried rice, Mongolian beef burrito and then honey walnut shrimp burrito. The food had the potential to be great but unfortunately the flavor was just mid. The items took a bit long to come out, and when we finally got our food my order was wrong and they forgot our appetizer. Thankfully, they were kind enough to fix my order and bring out our appetizer so we could take it to go. Out of everything we tried my super carnivores babe said the vegetable spring rolls were the best thing he ate (so take that however you'd like).... I will say the margarita was strong so that was nice ! Overall, our experience could have been better but i would consider giving them another try just to see if they were simply having an off day.

    Shanghai Cucumber Salad
    Frank S.

3.5 / Overall - room for improvement. First I'll start with the food. Shanghai Cucumber Salad - 3/5 Not super easy to ruin this, and while it wasn't ruined, it certainly was "meh", the cucumbers are swimming in juice and there isn't a lot of seasoning, didn't taste bad just not delicious or memorable. Wonton in Chilli Sauce - 3/5 Also underwhelming in the flavor department and the size of the dumplings is very mid to small. BBQ Brisket Buns - 3/5 These buns were well made enough with the texture of the bun itself. However, the inside of the buns was very dry and there was only brisket, they were not entirely bbq'd and not steaming hot. Usually moisture in buns makes them amazing, these were also not memorable. All of these opinions are based on the legacy of Dragon House's standard, this doesn't compare and it's not as great unfortunately. Ambiance - 5/5. The ambiance is very fitting and beautiful. No notes on that. I love it. Service - 3.5/5 - Refills were not provided, no one came to ask if the food tasted good and can we please have the host look more sharp? He's wearing a hoodie and a beanie, while other staff is wearing a nice button down and look polished. Thank you for reading! Look for my red notebook on the table and say hi if you see me!

Dragon Casa is a Asian-Mexican fusion spot owned by the same owners of Dragon House! I got to try several items off the menu including xiao long bao, noodles, calamari, tacos, and more. Everything was top tier, however I did wish there were more fusion flavors with the dishes. I absolutely love the concept though!

Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

The noodles were perfectly chewy without being greasy or clumped together, and the beef was tender with that subtle smoky wok hei flavor. You can tell it was cooked fresh, and that heat and texture really made the dish shine. The salted lemon soda was bright and refreshing, while the Yuen Yeung was strong and smooth with that classic Hong Kong milk tea and coffee combo kick. The tofu pudding had an authentic Hong Kong flavor. Served warm with a light ginger sugar syrup, it was silky smooth, delicate, and not overly sweet, bringing back that nostalgic HK dessert shop vibe. It was our first time trying Bonchon in Addison. We saw a video on Instagram about the crispy…read morechicken, so we thought we'd give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised by how crispy the chicken was; it had a really nice flavor. We also ordered a side of onion rings, which were super crunchy and delicious, and a side of sweet potato waffle fries. While the sweet potato waffle fries tasted amazing, the portion was pretty disappointing; we got about 10 fries total to share between two people. We originally wanted to order the K-Meal To-Go for 4-6 people, as we thought it was good value for money, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. They only had the large K-Box To-Go available, which costs around $90. We were told the K-Meals are not available on Fridays so they "don't lose money." If that's the case, then that's terrible marketing. Overall, the chicken and sides were great. We just think the sweet potato waffle fries portion should be larger for the price.

No flavor here, the chicken, the fries just everything. Couldn't eat the Bibimbop because the foundation of rice was undercooked and hard. $64 for that?! No way but unfortunately yes. Never again. This is not Korean fried chicken. Service was friendly. Tables were sticky but otherwise the restaurant was clean.

The dumplings were not only delicious but also the cutest little dumplings ever. We also tried the garlic fried rice, and it was amazing. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our waitress was fantastic and paid attention to the little details. My friend was making sure our order didn't include mushrooms, and she took the time to ask if it was due to an allergy so she could make sure everything was safe. That level of care really felt like going above and beyond. Great food, great prices, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is pretty slick. A Photo Booth like space, nice bathrooms and flexible seating to accommodate both large parties and small parties. Reasonable prices that allow you to try new things and enjoy other things that you may be familiar with. All of the items that we had are in the photos, but the creative presentation is what stood out most! Cute bao buns, chicken served with ramen to allow the customer to enjoy it as they would like, and good sized portions. My only ask would be for more broth with the ramen dishes. The noodle to broth ratio was just slightly off. 9/10 would recommend.

The restaurant follows a BYOB assembly format, similar to places like Chipotle or Cava. I did find the line was kind of slow and overall observed some inefficiencies. Perhaps the workers were still new, but there were some confusions with other people's orders. The portions they were giving out were small too. I ordered both a banh mi sandwich and 2 spring rolls. While the flavor was good and the ingredients were fresh, as someone who's gone to many Vietnamese restaurants in DFW, you can get bigger portions for less money. For example, the banh mi portion here is about half of a full banh mi but double the price. The sauce serving size is also on the lesser end as well; while the sauces had good flavor, there wasn't enough for me to enjoy with my entire order. Overall, I still think this place is worth checking out, especially if you work near this area
