Well, it started really nice. Server was super sweet. We were seated within 1 minutes and took our order within 5 mins place pretty empty and that's about it . Poor showing and its ridiculous to tip them when placing an order for take-out. Suggest going to the Boca Raton Ramen Lab instead. On our way home from the area and my daughter wanted to stop and order some food to go. We went in and placed an order, spicy seafood ramen, extra broth, ramen with pork belly with extra pork - mushroom bun and pork belly bun, Nothing exotic all mainstream items; told 15 minutes. Daughter paid something like $65 and gave them a tip (there's a mistake). 1/2 hour later I asked her to check, told ten (10) more minutes. 45 minutes I get up and tell the person at the cash register, "It's been over 40 minutes and we don;t have our order and I've seen other people come in put in an order and get served first'" Little boy at the register responds, "what people?" Let's pause here - that's not an appropriate answer. The answer to a customer is to find their order. I did respond with, "Well for example there was a mother and child who came in ten (10) minutes after us and who just left with their order five (5) minutes ago." To which he responds, "Well, they just ordered one thing." Again let's take a second and pause here - that's not an appropriate answer. The answer to a customer is to find their order. To which I responded, "the process in a restaurant is first come first served and nothing we ordered should have taken this much time." Very poor showing. Happy we took the food home so I could microwave the broth to make certain it was hot. Their opinion of "extra" needs work as well and it would kill them to add some more vegetables. My girlfriend and I went to this location for the second time and we'll def be back! Foods always good no matter what you get. Louie our server was super friendly and made it an enjoyable experience. In december, I decided to try ramen lab eatery for the first time ever with sister and niece. I heard nothing but good things so when I decided to make this my first experience, I was extremely excited. prior to ordering food I mentioned to my waiter, Ryan that I had a coupon I would like to use for the meal. He said no problem. He could take it off the tab once we were done. It went well - food was great and the service was good. However when it was time to pay I handed him the coupon i had shown him prior to use in order to take off the tab. He took it and when he came back, he said unfortunately he was not able to when we clearly showed him, he acknowledged and said it wouldn't an issue beforehand. We kindly asked for a manager and the manager, either Alic or Alex said he was not able to because his system didnt allow him too. I'm not sure what system doesn't allow you to do so but why he wasn't able to do the tab all over so we could use our coupon. My sister who has been in the food industry is well aware how the system works and any manager is allow to input a discount or override the system. needless to say, this was my first and last time at any ramen restaurant ever! read more

Returned to the Delray Beach area to give this spot a try after last time I made a last minute change and opted for a different restaurant in the area. The setting is very hipster-esq. Minimalistic interior design combined with some Japanese design cues, along with a lone arcade machine, makes the space look inviting and modern. We dined during their happy hour and took advantage of a couple of the appetizer specials. We ordered pork gyoza, and manban chicken. Reading the description for the chicken, we expected chicken nuggets, but were pleasantly surprised with what we received to our table. Aside from some pieces being tough to bite through (the frying made them a tad dry), they were delicious, and the gyoza was excellent, albeit it did fall apart. The Ramen was pretty good too, though it fell a bit short of my recent Ramen experiences. I had the 5 spice duck Ramen, in "fire spicy" level, and while it was pretty good, it wasn't close to spicy, and it felt that the amount of noodles wasn't proportionate to the broth. My girlfriend had the pork tonkutsu, the pork belly was the delicious, but the broth lacked some flavor, with a couple spoons of my duck broth it was livened up a bit. Overall it was a hearty meal and we enjoyed it, but it lacked a bit compared to the rest of the Ramen places we've dined in recently. read more

The Ramen is a handmade noodles that in a bowl with rich flavorful broth. You can have pork belly or chicken with it, either way it tastes great. The Korean beef Bulgogi Bao Buns were great. It's a bit pricey but it is so flavorful and it's a must try. The Pan seared Gyoza was good and it was not greasy compared to other Pan fried Gyozas I tried. At the backend of the place you will find the Sugar Milk where they serve boba teas which tasted great. Ramen lab in this location is way better than the one by WPB in my opinion. read more

I saw this ramen restaurant on instagram and it looked amazing. I loved the setup and the waitress was very kind. We ordered dumplings which came with a savory sauce as the appetizer. Deliciously satisfying. For my entree I ordered the Kimchi chicken ramen which was so flavorful and filling. I added medium spice to my ramen which was a great idea. Great concept in a good location! You can customize the Ramen bowl to include what you like, so there are plenty of options for vegetarians, as well as carnivores. My Ramen had an egg, noodles, ground chicken, and bamboo shoots. I have to say, though, that the broth was a bit bland and lacking in flavor. My husband had a similar bowl, but included some spicier ingredients, which helped the flavor of the broth. This was our first time at this restaurant. It's located at a great spot. They have street parking available. Our waiter was Elijah and he was great. He told us about some dishes that were not on their location menu but are available to order and are on their take out menu. The two tapa dishes we ordered were from the take out menu. A big thank you to yelper Robert A who did a 5-star review of this restaurant. Because of his review, I bookmarked this place, knowing I just had to eat here some time in the near future. That turned out to be today for lunch. We were heading north, so it wasn't too far a drive from home -- about a half hour plus time to find a parking spot. I'd seen that they also have a location in Boca, but it sounded like this newer place in Delray was larger. Also it was where the above-mentioned review was based. When we arrived, I already knew I wanted the duck ramen. Imagine my disappointment to find out that they didn't have any! Nor did they have the seafood Tom Yum (they'd been out since January) and were also out of one other pork dish. We almost left, but decided to order two of the short rib shoyu (soy) ramen bowls. You order and pay at the register as you enter. They give you a number on a stanchion to place on your table. You help yourself to drinks (we had their brown unsweet tea;they also have green tea, and a few soft drinks). They have little cups of hot pepper spicy oil, small squeeze bottles of sriracha sauce and soy sauce on the side table too. I asked the kitchen for lemon for my tea. They only add white or brown sugar, so I used Splenda from my purse. There's an area on the side that makes the boba teas and ice cream desserts. I got straws for our drinks from there. While waiting at a table for our food, a gentlemen came over to say he'd heard that I'd wanted the duck ramen and it had just come in, but that it would take an additional 15 minutes to heat up. Would I be interested? Yes!!! So my husband's short rib ramen was delivered to the table. They bring you a big ladle like spoon and a fork. Chopsticks are on the table in a jar. I got a chance to taste the meat -- very good and tender -- before he added all his spices. He slurped appropriately. A short while later, my duck ramen was delivered steaming hot to the table. It was sooo well worth the wait!! The broth itself was amazing -- a lovely aroma and an exceedingly delicious flavor. Duck pieces, bok choy, scallions, and bean sprouts in addition to the al dente noodles all bathed in that over the top soup broth. I was full... my nose was running from the hot soup... and still I kept eating every morsel. During our meal, we were checked on periodically to see how we liked everything and if everything was okay. My husband said his ramen was good but mine was better. I was such a happy camper. Trust me you dont need anything else. I've been coming here a few times now and never order anything else but those 2 items. The ramen is flavorful and filling. The baos are freaking yummy! In town for work and taking advantage of the sites, sounds and flavors on Atlantic Ave. I've been meaning to come to Ramen Lab for awhile and figured Monday night wouldn't be too busy and it wasn't. I explained to the hostess that I was new to noodles and she said no worries. She then told me what the most popular bowl was and recommended it for a newbie. The Tonkotsu proved to be a delicious introduction to ramen and just like that I am a fan. I found the presentation in the bowl to be not just attractive but arraigned in a manner that allows the diferent complimentary flavors to be enjoyed. The pork is cut like thick cut bacon but wow what an awesome taste. The broth seemed part miso, part something else blended into deliciousness.The bowl had more "stuff" than soup and I was so satisfied that I actually didn't finish. It's definately lighter fare than say a steak or a big burger and seemed healthy enough for a weight watcher of which I am forever trying. I would imagine there is a sodium dose buried beneath the layers of tastiness but I could do this easily once a week. I think I liked it more than Pho! I intend to come back and try the Veggie Ramen as I saw it on the table next to me and it looked yum. Perhaps when I am more discerning ramenite I will venture over to the other more crowded as its tiny, more expensive and according to many reviewers more authentic ramen joint but for now the quality, price point, attentive friendly service and comfy setting is just what I needed after a hard day of work. read more
