    Tonkatsu Ramen

Came with my 2 service dogs and was treated with so much disrespect by Pam, even though I was inquiring about how to go about the transaction and to enjoy some ramen. It was disturbing how uncooperative she was trying to be. Never had this experience here before. The ramen was delicious as usual.

Stopped in for lunch with some coworkers right as they opened. Service was not the best. - we had to ask if we sat ourselves, ask for him to take our order, and track him down for the check. Typically I would be upset by these things but it did appear he was the only person taking orders via phone and in the restaurant and was busy the entire time. He also was pleasant when dealing with the three of us. The ramen is listed as spicy but it really is not. Very tasty and I would go back without hesitation if someone wanted to go but I probably would not search it out for myself. Price is $15.50 for what is pictured which feels a bit high but I am sure the rent is crazy high at this location. Inside is clean but you don't feel like you are at a nice restaurant...it has an old subway sandwich shop that was kind of renovated feel.

Nice little restaurant located directly across the street from Sunshine square plaza. The restaurant seems to be a Mom and Pop shop and they specialize in ramen. They occasionally have specials posted. Ramen was tasty and noodles were great. Service is attentive. Overall a good meal but the portions could've been slightly larger.

SO DELICIOUS!!!! This place did not disappoint at all. The food is extremely fresh. We ordered the Tonkotsu Cha-Shu Men and it is indeed the best we have had in Palm Beach County! This place is a little gem! The broth is super fresh and the noodles taste amazing. We also had the Onigiri and Inari which were super tasty. It was our first time eating these two. The service was very friendly and attentive. The cute little shop has minimal seating so be prepared to wait if they are busy. We didn't have trouble getting a seat because a kind single diner volunteered his seat for the three of us and moved elsewhere. We can't wait to come back! 10/10!

Cute low key ramen place. Good selection on the menu. I would give them 3.5 stars, if there was an option. We tried the oxtail noodle soup. It was ok. A little bland and also had the tonkotsu ramen, which was very good. Note, everything is priced at a la carte, even condiments.

I have never been to a ramen place that was like a build-a-bear. It was a minor inconvenience to have to order a basic broth/noodle and then add in things I wanted. Good part was that my bill was similar to that if I had gone to a regular ramen place that included all the veggies and slices of pork. The slices were also very thin. Tasty. But thin. This location is also very small. Those are my reasons for giving it 4 stars. It definitely deserves 5 stars for taste, service, and ambiance. Very friendly couple cooking in the kitchen. High top seating. Tasty menu with plenty options. Definitely will come back to try more items.

I have been running around all day and decided I needed something quick and easy stopped doing for me Miso soup ended up getting two orders of it. I ate the gyoza before I could photograph it. Sorry not sorry lol The server could not have been more polite and attentive... This place is a gold mine go go go!!!

I was going out to dinner with two friends, and one of them wanted to try ramen. I hadn't been to Tokio Ramen yet, so I thought it would be fun if we all three tried it together for the first time. The restaurant itself was in a nice plaza, had very cute interior, and was clean (even the restroom!). It smelled delicious as soon as we walked in! We were immediately seated, and we looked at the menu. They offered a wide variety of appetizers but my friends and I were just there for the main course. My friend and I both had the Tonkatsu Tokio Ramen, while our other friend chose Miso Ramen. The ramen itself was well made. It had a very hearty broth, lots of vegetables and delicious pork. Mine was a little spicy which I absolutely loved, but you can order it without the spice if you choose. The only reason I didn't give this five stars was because of the service. The waitress was kind of all over the place, messed up one of my friends orders, left us without water for a long amount of time, and then when brought it back spilled it on us . But all in all, it was a very delicious meal, and I will be back the next time I'm craving Ramen. If you're looking for a good ramen place, I highly recommend Tokio Ramen.

This was the Seafood Ramen with added cha-shu, a salt-based noodle soup topped with cabbage, beansprouts, and carrots. I also added Ra-yu (spicy oil). It's a small place with limited seating. I was thinking about Blade Runner while waiting... lol.

After missing breakfast this morning I was starving, and decided to take advantage of my job being right across the street. Parking was a no brainer as the free garage next door means I didn't have to try and find anything on the street. So that's a plus. Well lit, clean, non sticky tables. These are all elements I look for when trying a divey hole in the wall, and all of them were met. We're doing good! A friendly "hello" hollered out as I walked in and the girl behind the counter jumped right up to help me. A quick once over of the menu and I decided on the steamed dumplings to start with a bowl of roasted pork ramen. Add a soft boiled egg please! Everything was bagged up securely so there were no leaks heading back to work and I was on my way! The dumplings were so good. Soft little steamed pillows of deliciousness that melted in my mouth. So good... The roast pork was delicious, three slices of fatty goodness, sliced to the perfect thickness to be warmed through once I poured the broth over. But the broth!! Oh My God!! I've quite literally never had a better broth in all of South Florida. This was worth the price of admission. I consider myself a bit of a pepper head and love spice but this red chili sauce had my forehead sweating by the second mouthful. My only reason for not going 5 stars is the noodle. Arguably tied with the broth for importance in a good ramen, these were definitely premade, possibly storebought, not the shining star I had hoped for, but I'll definitely be back!

This small restaurant appealed to me -- from the warm greeting on walking in, we felt welcome and appreciated. We'd been to another restaurant in this area before, so we knew to park our car behind the restaurant in the garage. We then walked over to enter via the back door. Seats inside are at one of two counters -- facing a wall -- plus there are a few regular tables in the front. And even a couple small tables outside in the back opposite the parking garage. I started with an appetizer of seaweed salad. Crunchy and refreshing. We both ordered the soy based broth ramen, but I got the basic version with just pork slices and noodles in the broth. He got his with the added egg, the flavored bamboo shoots, the dried seaweed, and naruto (that dyed pink fish paste cut to look like a flower and used for contrasting color) along with the pork slices and ramen noodles. The soups were served hot, tasty and very filling. I took part of my noodles home, even. The menu is basically different versions of ramen in 4 different broths that you can adjust by adding in various "toppings". Other menu items are with udon or soba noodles. Then there's a small section of dishes with rice and a half dozen appetizers. Service was friendly and efficient. The place was spotlessly clean. And although a limited menu, perfect for when you're seeking comfort food like ramen. We'll definitely be coming back!

We ordered: - Oxtail Ramen which was very unique and tasty (we picked medium seasoning). Added bokchoy. Will order again. - Tonkotsu Ramen with added enoki. Not as creamy as I'm use to but you can tell all the ingredients are very fresh. For such a rich dish, I didn't feel heavy later on that night. We usually order extra ramen but didn't have to. The proportions were spot on and enough for a hearty meal. Total tab was around $65 after tip and tax. We came in around 7pm - no wait - and within 30 mins the whole place filled up.

Our server Eugene was exceptional -- knowledgeable, warm, and full of incredible recommendations. We started with the seafood pancake and a chef's special smoked fish dish (I wish I'd caught the name!) whose presentation was absolutely stunning -- every element on the plate was intentional and edible, right down to the flowers. On Eugene's advice, we went all in on the grill: wagyu beef, two orders of pork belly, and the snowflake short rib. The snowflake short rib was the star of the show -- it melted like butter and was absolutely divine. The wagyu was delicious too, though a touch less buttery than the short rib. The pork belly held its own, especially paired with the Ssamjang dipping sauce (a fermented soybean paste and gochujang blend that's the perfect complement). We wrapped up the savory courses with garlic shrimp -- a great finishing touch. The banchan were all wonderful, and it's worth knowing you get three free refills while you're grilling, with additional refills available for a small charge. For dessert, we ordered their halo-halo-style treats in mango and red bean (again, I forgot the name -- but don't let that stop you!). They were delicious -- not overly sweet, with a satisfying texture from the mochi and shaved ice. We loved both, but the mango was my personal favorite. The space itself is beautiful, with plenty of grill tables and a generously sized bar for those who aren't coming to cook. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive throughout. Worth noting -- this business changed ownership about 18 months ago, and the difference is evident: it's exceptionally well-run and the quality of ingredients has been elevated to a whole new level. This is definitely a place to splurge and savor -- everything we had was perfection. If you're in the area or on the hunt for a truly delicious and authentic Korean BBQ experience, this is an absolute must-visit!

We started with Peach Soju, which was light, slightly sweet, very refreshing. The Kimchi Pancake was a great appetizer: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with that tangy, slightly spicy kimchi flavor that makes it so addictive. For mains, the Beef Bibimbap was great especially during a cooler night. It's a rice bowl served on a sizzling bowl, topped with seasoned beef, vegetables, and egg, and once you mix everything together, you get a perfect balance of savory, spicy, and comforting flavors in every bite. The Soon Tofu Jigae came out hot and bubbling. It is a rich, warming stew made with soft silken tofu and a flavorful broth that's slightly spicy and incredibly comforting. We also ordered the Korean Steamed Egg, which was light, fluffy, and almost custard like. The Chicken Katsu rounded everything out nicely with a crispy breaded exterior and juicy chicken inside, served with a classic sweet-savory sauce. Banchan was included with the meal, which is always a plus. For anyone unfamiliar, banchan are traditional Korean side dishes (like seasoned or pickled vegetables) served with your food to be shared and enjoyed throughout the meal.
