Ramen Lab is in the Grandview Publix Market so this was easy and it was served somewhat quickly after I ordered it at the window. They do need a beeper "your order is ready" system though. Back at the table, I popped off the lid and dug into my bowl of vegan ramen. Yes, loaded with tasty tofu and mushrooms and veggies. Amazing food and drink inside the wonderful Grandview market. They have events here all the time and it's the best place to meet a friend for lunch or meet up and hangout. Ramen lab is one of the top spots. The curry ramen is amazing. A little more spicy this time than usual. And now they serve boba. This restaurant is located inside the Grandview Public Market. There is ample seating inside and outside of the food hall with delicious food at all of the restaurants and the venue hosts great events like trivia and bingo. Ramen Lab is simply delicious and I'm blown away by the red curry Ramen every single time I order. This time I ordered to go and when you order to go, the soup is separate from all of the noodles and other ingredients in the Ramen, which keeps everything hot and fresh during transport. The flavors are amazing and I've never had any Ramen here that I did not like. The food is a bit pricey, but I think it's typical for a boutique food hall type of experience. Absolutely love this place. I come here all the time since I live down the street. Service is always quick and the staff is very friendly. Plus you can walk around grandview and check everything else out. Ramen is totally on point. Personally recommend the shoyu with pork belly, bok choy, and extra broth. Get the spice on the side. We had a great experience here. The food is expensive but the things we got were very tasty. I got 2 of the different Bao Buns. The pork belly was really good! Beef was good too. I didn't realize I could eat from Ramen Lab Eatery right from Grandview Market! I am already a fan of their other locations, so it was nice to find a familiar spot in here. I ordered the Ramen wonton soup, which was excellent - so good! I had to sip every last bit of broth! This menu is condensed from the regular RLE menus, but still has favorites to be found, such as Grandma's dumplings/ I did look at all the other food options in GVM, yet Ramen Lab Eatery still pulled me back after seeing everything. The Ramen Lab Eatery has amazing food. Trying the Red Curry Ramen left me feeling full and happy. The service was top notch as well. We were in the area and decide to come for lunch. There was plenty of parking in the lot. It's a food court style establishment with indoor and outdoor seatings available. Outdoor seating is under shade. There was someone cleaning the tables. The bathroom was clean as well. We all got the pork tonkotsu and it was delicious. The broth was flavorful and the pork had a nice glaze to it and tender. The egg yolk was over cooked though it wasn't molten. Some pieces of the bamboo shoots were chewy. We used the Yelp deal and the staff didn't know how to enter that at first but was able to resolve after a quick call to the manager. Will consider coming back next time we're in the area. read more

I ordered the Beef Bulgogi and it was about 80% white rice with some not so flavorful toppings. I asked if there was Gochujang sauce on it and the employee pointed to it and said yes but it was VERY skimpy. No opportunity to add more I guess. I also ordered some beverage that was $7 and tasted like Kool-aid. My friend ordered the noodle dish that had an odd taste. I am very experienced with Asian foods, and this was not it. I browsed some of the other indoor vendors as I waited on the text notification letting me know my order was ready. Wait time was not long. Triple-check your order. This location NEVER gets it right. Food is good but unfortunately, it doesn't outweigh the incompetence of the employees. We have given this location 3 chances taking into consideration we are all human and mistakes happen, but 3 strikes and you're out. The orders were not big (2-3 lunch orders) and the receipt was correct but not what was given to us. To add insult to injury, when picking up this last time we asked if everything was in there. The employee grabbed the receipt, looked at it, looked in the bag, and said yup. Again, this has happened 3 times. This place is over priced in my opinion. I've had the chicken gyoza dumplings and the wonton ramen. The dumplings were a bit bland. I will admit that I really liked the wonton ramen, but I'm an overweight carb lover and this was just a fat noodle fan's dream. I got it with bok choy, but that and every other interesting add-on costs extra, including more broth. It was also kind of bland, but I loved it. I was in a mood for just soft, warming, soothing noodles, and this was like gluing 3 more pounds with zero nutrition onto my body. Oh wait -- surely bok choy has some beneficial vitamins, but they didn't give me much of it. Kimchee, mushrooms, bean sprouts, fried onions, tofu, ramen egg, Asian egg, ground chicken and pork belly are all offered options that would liven up this bowl in a great way, but would also bring it to well over $30. On my budget, a $5 small wonton soup at my local Chinese place will suffice. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The location is cute and housed with a few other restaurants. The presentation was nice but the ramen had no taste. I added the black garlic oil, extra green onions and the spicy chili paste into the miso ramen and nothing. I knew it wasn't going to taste like Japan but I was hoping for a little flavor. Definitely worth it. Since they have been there I've never had a bad ramen. But holy crap the music is sooooo loud at Grandview can't hear between both my mask and the workers mask. I ordered via iPad, said I would get a text I showed up about 5 mins after and blank looks so I wasn't ask for a name. So I said maybe my phone number started yelling it the guy says I can hear you,well I can't hear you. So what the first guy who was mumbling was trying to say someone took my order and they will have to make a new one. On the iPad I don't remember being ask for a name so I can see how this is happening. Any who, was offered the ramen they made for the other person and was made a new one to go like I selected. Overall the situation was handled pretty well but considering the situation with the mask wearing the music makes it very hard and leaning in to hear what was being said. My kids and I stopped here for lunch. We had a piece of hair in all of our ramen bowls, and in our gyozas. It was disgusting. The lady making it should be wearing a hair net from now on. The broth was bland , barely warmed up and everything tasted old. I showed them the hairs , that clearly belonged to the girl, and they only gave us a partial refund... it was the worst ramen we ever had and super overpriced considering you get a paper bowl and eat w/ plastic spoons.. wouldn't call that ramen at all. The red curry ramen. O.M.G. I had to get one to go so that I could continue eating it the next day. I didn't even get a picture because I ate it. There's so much to say about it. It's sooo good. It's delicious. The spice level is just right. (Maybe a little spicy for people that don't like spice) but the flavor... it's perfect. Whatever type of meat you get (or tofu/vegetables) the base is where it's at. The creamy curry is just incredible. The noodles are well cooked and just the perfect pairing for the base. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back and get some more. It's a pretty large bowl. Definitely can last two meals or to share. Unless you're like me and just eat it all at once. Haha.
