Rosie's Taco Shop is a great taco spot. The carne asada was tasty, the tacos were good. I liked that the corn tortilla was oiled for cooking, which added to the goodness. Rosie's has the best horchata, I rate their horchata a 10/10. The fountain drinks is "all you can drink" although the horchata does not have free refills, it's still "El Rey de Horchata". This will be THE last time ever ordering from here again. I don't know what changed, but this place is not the same about their customer service. I ordered the same three burritos that I do all the time and asked for 15 green sauces FOR THREE BIG BURRITOS. I figured since it was a phone order there wouldn't be a hassle. I was wrong. I got home and there's four red sauces and four green sauces. Anybody that eats sauce knows that the sauce is half the flavor of the meal. This place has gotten so chintzy. Three times skimping on sauces I will never come here again. I hope the pennies saved was worth a customer and possibly more. Joe's taco shop down the street is way better. Ordered over the phone and and was told 10-15 minutes for my order. I showed up 20 minutes later still no food, which is alright, things get backed up, but it took 35 minutes. Over twice of what I was told. Why would you make me go through the uncomfortable experience of giving you my credit card information over the phone and making a planned pick up, if you can't keep up. I have been coming here for years and just an annoying customer experience. Also, paying over the phone sucks, you can't hear them, they cut in and out, they are working on the drive through at the same time. Just let me pay when I get there. My hubby loves the shredded beef taco with rice and beans plate. I love the carne asada taco. I can make 2 tacos out of the one taco because they give you 2 tortillas. I don't like the ground beef tacquitos. They taste mushy. I wish they had shredded beef tacquitos or even chicken tacquitos. The $3.75 chips are a deal. The place is fairly new. Very clean and had a very friendly gentleman who took our order. It took 15 minutes or so to get our food. The food is served on disposable plates. The food was definitely delicious and fresh. If you are craving nice Mexican food this place is for you. Also the beans are vegetarian (no lard). read more

Food was okay, but not great. It was waaaaayyy too expensive for what you get, to be honest. The chicken on the tacos we had didn't even look like it had any spices on it and the food was pretty bland. One thing we did really enjoy was the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was very flavorful and delicious! Things to be aware of: they pass the service fee for using a credit card on to the customer! They also ask to be tipped for making your food. I don't begrudge folks trying to make a living! Just be aware of what they are expecting/asking you to do. Very small dining room, but very clean. Young man at the register was very nice. Just a small little place to get some quick food. This is a step above a taco bell. You order your food at the counter, they hand it to you at counter, self serve sodas and a few tables. Quiet, clean and quick. Just note they charge you 3.5% if you use your credit/debit card. We were excited to stop by and try this new spot. It has a drive through and you can eat in. Small but perfect for a quick bite. I've had the tacos across the street and a block over, I really do like these way more. Staff was friendly and answered our questions. When you have a Small location like this things may come separate. But here, everything was great. Flavor full tacos. And I love the grilled red onion on the side. We will come back soon. 2.5 Stars Rosie's Taco Shop(RTS) is not bad, it is not great, but very utilitarian! You will be served a fresh meal, but set your expectations to average for taste. RTS has great customer service! This location is brand new and clean with a drive-thru. They serve you pretty big portions for the price! You will be charged a 3.5% service fee when using your credit card. Pay attention to your receipt. I paid cash and was still charged the service fee. It was refunded when brought to their attention. I love a good bean and cheese burrito. I work on the west valley and Rosies is one of my go-to spots for burritos. They have a drive-thru and they are quick and cheap. (Go across the street and you'll spend 11.00 for a tiny quesadilla) The salsa is good and the consistency is always there. The motto is not another pinche taco shop.. haha read more

The rice, ground beef taco, and carne asada taco is good. But the birria taco? BOMB AF. Wow. So juicy. The consome AND the taco was both flavorful and juicy. The only problem I had was that I got one of those tacos when I should have had 3 or 4. I can't wait to go back to eat more of their birria. I had heard good things about Rosie's tacos. I needed a quick good bite and they happen to have a drive thru. Service was quick and friendly. Their menu had all the Mexican dishes you usually look for. I ordered the California burrito and the 4 taco combo that comes with a drink (on taco Tuesday they have a special on this). I will say prices are decent compared to other places. California burrito was a good size and it tasted great. The carne asada tacos were good but I feel lacked a little bit of flavor. However, the size and the amount of meat was great. I am looking forward to trying their rolled tacos next! Oh and for sure re-ordering the California burrito. read more

Wow! Quaint little restaurant with a flavor explosion. Horchata was fresh, the fish taco was the best in the area. I also had the chicken taco. It it was a good thing my wife got only the quesobarrira taco, she helped finish mine. The guacamole was excellent also. Usually guacamole needs salt or has too much onion, this was not the case at Rosie's Taco. I wish we had tried this before now, we are getting ready to move to Florida. A great find. It's interesting to me that this was the first taco place I've eaten at in Arizona where it felt like California. That's because Rosie's started in California. Now it all makes sense. The Birria is simply to die for. I think it's their best thing on the menu, without argument. Juicy, flavorful, with a nice crust of cheese on the outside. It's really great. Next up is the Queso and chips. Their queso is SO good. Not just a glob of velvets. This queso had a rich, creamy, cheesy flavor. It's fresh and hot: perfect with chips. The mini churros stuffed condensed milk is richness to the hilt. A hot, crusty mini-churro served fresh and drizzled with glaze. It also comes rolled in a sugar-cinnamon mixture, though I prefer it withOUT that. The inside is warm, melty, caramel-y condensed milk. The net result is a heavenly little dessert. Sweet, crispy, with all the flavor of a good churro, and the added smoothness of condensed milk. This place is really excellent. Great guacamole and all their meats are excellent. I loved the pork Al pastor taco. This is a family run restaurant with family recipes, so you're getting something unique and tasty. Forget the endless taco trucks roaming The Valley, and just come here for an absolutely mouth-watering taco or burrito. And get the mini churros! read more

I tried Rosie's last weekend, stopping through with a friend for burritos. I ordered a shrimp burrito and my friend ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito with no cheese. They repeated our order twice but I somehow ended up with a ground beef, bean, and cheese burrito which was just not something I wanted. My friend enjoyed his burrito and they left the cheese out. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Rosie's has gotten my order wrong. The food is good, a little pricey but ultimately I just want what I order. Ordered a carne asada bowl and it was bland and the meat was sparse. Asked for salsa. None to be found on the bowl. Mind you, this was door dash. So maybe that makes a difference.(which it shouldn't!) but they should still do some quality control. First time trying and probably won't be back. Great taco shop Today, I decided to dine at Rosie's Taco Shop, a small taco shop that just recently opened. The shop is small, clean, welcoming, with a friendly staff, and wallet friendly pricing. On this visit we shared chips/queso, shredded beef and ground beef tacos. Everything was fresh and made to order. The tacos at Rosie's are full of flavor. The meat was moist, seasoned perfectly, and there wasn't any skimping. These tacos were loaded with meat, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. A perfectly delicious taco. It's a bit on the smaller size but at around $6 with tax, it's a good deal. Mild and hot salsas were tasty. Service was friendly which is always appreciated. The food here is very delish, but my only complaint is that they use the Toast app and if something goes awry here, getting a refund is VERY difficult. I accidentally placed 2 orders, not realizing I actually placed the original order which I didn't think I did. I'm needing for them to refund me the money to my credit card, and this was back in July. Still they haven't refunded it back to me, as I never got the food for this. My credit card company gave me a conditional credit, but Rosie's hasn't responded to my credit card company. I did speak with the owner, and the owner has made no attempt (at least that I can see) to rectify refunding back to my credit card. If you're going to recommend an app to order from, you should also have the ability to refund in situations like this. Very unorganized by Rosie's here, so use the Toast app at your own peril. read more

Really good taco spot! Stop for a quick bite and ordered their quesabirria taco, 3 rolled tacos and their elote. Their birria taco was bomb!!!! I wish I got their shrimp taco based on the reviews. The only thing that I didn't care to much for was the elote. It was a little to sweet and the corn was really soft. So good!!! Needed to get my Mexican food fix and chose Rosie's from the GrubHub app based on good reviews. We ordered: - quesobirria tacos - rolled tacos - pastor tacos - rice - beans - churros - cheesecake chimis - horchata BOMB. I didn't love the beans, I believe they're made with chorizo and that's just not my jam, they were still good and creamy - but a little tangy and I wasn't expecting that. With the deserts - we tried the churros first and they're delicious, but oh man the cheesecake chimis are to die for! Everything was so good! I am looking for excuses to come back. We ordered delivery so nice idea about the ambiance of the restaurant or service, BUT our food was here within 40 minutes and they're about 10 minutes away - that's pretty good. read more
