What a great concept for an updated steakhouse dining experience. Top notch from the moment we…read moreentered to the time we left. We were in town for an event and were ready for dinner far earlier than our reservation but the hostess got us in no problem. Our server, David, was terrific. He is the only server who has ever convinced me that ordering Wagyu was worth the money. He sold us on the 14oz Australian Wagyu which in his words "was the best steak he had ever eaten" and after having it, I couldn't agree more. The steak was perfectly cooked, beautifully plated since we shared, and it melted in your mouth. The char on the outside was ridiculous in the best way. We also had oysters on the half shell broiled with Cajun butter, lobster Mac n cheese, and corn brûlée. All of it was delicious. I wish we would have ordered the bread with candlestick butter, it looked amazing. Totally worth the money, will make a drive from Columbus just to have that steak again.

The space itself has an eclectic, upscale vibe that adds to the overall experience. The food backed it up. We had the Japanese crab cake, grilled oysters, Baby Wedge (not so baby), and split the 16oz Wagyu ribeye with truffle butter. Sides were mushrooms and the potato mille-feuille -- that potato is a must-order. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and incredibly tender, and the crab cake was packed with large chunks of crab. The oysters were good, but everything else really stood out. Dessert was an espresso crème brûlée and finished the meal exactly how you'd want. Service was excellent. David took great care of us -- knew the menu, made good recommendations, and kept things moving without ever feeling rushed. The place was absolutely spotless -- from the dining room to the smallest details. Around $400 for two all in, and worth it for a special night out.

This was originally a "speakeasy" but has since gotten HUGE signage directing you to it, so really…read moredoesn't qualify anymore. You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.

A relaxing at Tommie's. Live music, great cocktails and good service. Perfect combination. Also…read morenoticed the new and lower prices on some of their specialty cocktails.
