I can he roughly 30 mins after they opened. Service was fast and my waiter was nice. They were still clearly opening but to have been helped quickly was nice. I tend to order the same thing at Mexican restaurants so my opinion of the food may be biased since it may not be there specialty here. The burrito was average. Wasn't amazing, wasn't disgusting. It was hot and edible. No real flavor. Overall I give this place a 3/5 stars. But with the great service it got 4/5. In conclusion I'm not from the area so my review may not matter as much as another person but I would drive a little further and eat in Lancaster, Tehachapi or Bakersfield if you want really good Mexican food. read more

I so badly wanted this place to be better. The service was absolutely amazing. It was truly a team effort, if any of the staff walked by they're made sure you had everything you needed. The food however was below par. We had the chile verde and chile Colorado. The Chile verde sauce was pretty much puréed tomatillos with little seasoning. Ramon's has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years! I'm not sure if Ramon's has changed chefs recently, but the flavor of food has definitely changed! My favorite side to order has been the Albondigas soup, deep in flavor and spice, not now! Ordered 2 Bowls on Sunday with Chicken Chimichanga combo for our dinner. Unfortunately, both were flavorless, FLAT! No matter what I added made any real difference in the flavor, spices need to be added when preparing, not after the fact. Good food at very reasonable prices. I especially like their quesadillas, their meatball (albondigas) soup, and the burger with steak fries. I brought a bunch of my friends here one time and they all enjoyed it. They loved being able to order margaritas at the table, and they were plesantly surprised how reasonably-priced everything was. As far as restaurants in shopping centers, this is by far the best one. Ramons has been a family favorite for years now. We've gone from birthdays to date night and everything in between. There's one particular staff member who knows Us by just walking in the door immediately has our menus ready set this down and goes and gets her drinks because he knows our order. I absolutely love service like that. It makes you feel like you're family and that you're welcome there. Overall their food is very very good there has been an occasional time or two where things have disappointed but over the many many times I've gone there over the years it's you know one out of 50 which to me is not that bad.
