My husband and I go here every Friday. I love it. Not only is the food great, but the service is awesome. We have noticed that when it gets busy the owner comes out and buses tables and takes drink orders. I have also seen him in the bar preparing drinks. When times got tough and other places slacked off on quality and pricing, Ramon's never did. We love you guys! read more

Consistently pretty good. I've just had a few items that weren't all that. Monday nights they have a buffet that my hubbie loves. I just order off the menu. They do very well with large groups. At least half of our office celebrations occur here (the rest are at Domingo's in Boron). The fajitas are very good. read more

Tried this place out. If you are looking for a clean restaurant - this is the place. Anytime someone left a table they would vacuum ... which was a little strange since it's noisy. Chips and salsa were good and refilled. Water also was refilled - I told the waiter I was good on water and the bartender came over and asked if I wanted water later. Food was good. One diner had the chicken tortilla soup - was better at a different establishment. Food was good and came out quick. Big portions. Some things are more expensive, but can find cheaper items. read more

What can I say about Ramones? My family and I have been coming to Romone's since before my kids were born and now it's become a family tradition once or twice a week. The food is always exactly as good as the very first time we started coming 14years ago. I can not say that about any other restaurant in this area or anywhere else in the Antelope Valley for that matter (and I'm very particular about food) The Resturant is always clean the food is delicious and the service is above average for this area. "And the absolute best Enchilada Suizas you'll ever find anywhere" and the prices are reasonable. You can take a family of 4 to dinner without going broke! My kids grew up eating at Romone's and the staff make us feel like family. So, that's everything you need from a restaurant...You can't get much better then that! read more

We used to live in the area from 2009-2013 because my husband was stationed at Edwards AFB. We still have a house here that we rent out, but every time we are in town we HAVE to eat here! When they're busy, sometimes you do have to let them know to replace your drink but most of the time they come and ask. Cheese is always melted (unlike Sals) and food is always quick and hot. Here's some real Mexican Food. Had a meeting with some of our vendors. The food was great. the service was amazing. I rarely go out of my way to find the manager or owner to tell them how good the food is. This day I did just that. Family owned. Chile rellenos and enchilada were the best I've had in a long time. They are tucked away so if you drive by you might miss it. But true great food and the guacamole is fresh as is the salsa. Wish i had brought some to go. read more

A quaint Mexican cafe with good food & service. Well decorated and festive. Some of the food has higher prices than your average Mexican restaurant while others are slightly lower. The Faire is somewhat Americanized, regardless of the menu quoting the "history of Mexico". The service was exceptional, as well; Raphael was adept at keeping us happy. The cheque? The cheque was twice what it was worth. I'm sorry; a 50.00 surcharge to eat this food in Rosemond? Not worth it. There are 2 other Mexican restaurants in town, both cheaper- but FFS! I've been coming to Ramon's since 2008 and sadly I've yet to have a great experience food-wise (the company is always good, so I don't turn down a chance to see friends and eat chips and salsa). My gf and I are new to the area, and this was the first place we ate, having been in town literally for only a few hours. Having spent the last week eating crap food, and mc d's etc, and staying in hotels, this was an AMAZING welcome to Rosamond. I am always a little nervous eating in new restaurants in small towns, but this place was better than expected. We went back again several days later and got different dishes just to be sure we weren't biased by the crap food we had been eating before hand. To our enjoyment we found it equally as delicious. Unbelievable that the manager MAKES HIS STAFF TAKE THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK for more than an hour on Friday and Saturday nights. The owner needs to know how much money he is losing because the manager can't MANAGE. This is ridiculous. And they aren't even allowed to have full occupancy because of Covid. When you can't manage a restaurant when you're only allowed 25% occupancy, you need to think about doing something else. The manager doesn't even care if you get bad food. We complained on a few occasions when we got bad take out food and the manager didn't give a crap. Didnt apologize, didn't offer to comp a $10 meal, nothing. Exact words were, "and?".
