On June 6, 2026, I purchased a vehicle from Ur 1 Stop Auto Sales, doing business as Your One Stop…read moreAuto, and paid an $8,000 down payment. I signed the purchase/financing documents and took possession of the vehicle. The financing was never successfully completed. During July, Robert acknowledged that the finance company had not approved or purchased the loan and that he was still attempting to obtain financing. After weeks without completed financing, I informed Robert on July 31 that I wanted to return the vehicle and receive my down payment back. Robert told me I could bring the vehicle back. On August 2, 2026, I returned the vehicle to the dealership with a witness present. Robert accepted the vehicle and issued me a $7,000 check as a partial refund of my $8,000 down payment. He stated that he was keeping $1,000 for my use of the vehicle. Approximately 1 1/2 hours after I left the dealership, Robert stopped payment on the $7,000 check. My bank confirmed that the check was dishonored because a stop-payment order had been placed on it. The dealership therefore had possession of the vehicle again while also retaining my down payment and stopping payment on the refund check it had issued. I have supporting documentation, including contracts, financing communications, text messages with Robert, financing declination information, the $7,000 check, bank documentation showing the stop payment, repair records, and a witness to the vehicle return. Resolution Requested: I am requesting the return of my full $8,000 down payment. I also request a written explanation for why the dealership stopped payment on the $7,000 refund check after accepting return of the vehicle.

Pablo, (Sales) Blake, (Sales Manager) and Jefrey, (Product Specialist) were very professional and helpful. Brought the vehicle in today to have the paint ceramic protection done which takes a few hours. Lily, (Service Department) was very helpful in providing a "loaner" vehicle, and kept me informed about the progress of my vehicle. They did an awesome job! I'm very pleased with my experience at Watsonville Cadillac!

Very Disappointing Financing Experience…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Watsonville GMC. I came in seriously interested in purchasing a 2027 GMC Terrain and was ready to put $5,000 down. The vehicle selling price they showed me was $32,535, which I was happy with. The first payment worksheet I received showed 6.99% APR for 72 months. After submitting the credit application with a co-buyer who has strong credit, the financing offer I received was 13.34% APR for 72 months. With my $5,000 down payment, the amount financed was about $31,538.75, but the finance charge alone was $14,706.85, with payments of $642.30 per month for 72 months. That would mean more than $46,000 in loan payments, plus my $5,000 down payment, on a vehicle with a selling price of $32,535. I understand that interest rates depend on credit history and lender approval, but I was extremely uncomfortable with how dramatically the financing changed. When I questioned the rate, I was told they did not receive other approvals because of my credit history. I specifically asked about using my co-buyer's stronger credit or having her qualify independently because I was not willing to accept a 13.34% APR. This experience left me feeling pressured and very disappointed. A low advertised vehicle price does not necessarily mean you are getting a good overall deal once financing is included. My advice to future customers: do not focus only on the vehicle price or monthly payment. Before signing anything, carefully check the APR, amount financed, finance charge, total of payments, down payment, and any warranties or add-ons. Get everything in writing and compare financing with your own bank or credit union. I ultimately was not comfortable accepting these financing terms. I hope the dealership improves the transparency and customer experience around financing because buying a vehicle should not leave a customer feeling this frustrated and disappointed.

We purchased a new vehicle from this location, no problem. That was a painless experience…read more Unfortunately with less than 100 miles on it, the issues began. I brought it in and was literally ghosted. I was not able to get a straight answer regarding the repairs or when they could/would be done any of the times I called, which were numerous. Almost a month later I finally called the national number. They had similar difficulties with communication but were able to tell me that the "special order parts" I had been waiting on were never ordered. In fact the work order had been closed the day before I called them. Ok, I tried again. This time I was assured not only did they have the parts but that everything would be fixed the day I brought it back in. That was the 5th of August. I got my vehicle back at the end of the day, but only bc I inquired at the end of the day if it was ready. Picked it up.... and.... Nope. Not fixed. I don't understand what the problem is. Communication is not a strong suit for this establishment. I just want my new vehicle to function and operate like a NEW VEHICLE instead of a pick n pull special. 2 strikes.... Come on people....
