Is Monday night or Wednesday night quieter, less busy at Ramsey's Kitchen in Boston? What is the best night of the week for the best possible experience?

Well I was there on a Friday night and the place was not on fire . Atmosphere was nice and the food was amazing . Try to do an early dinner less traffic ...enjoy let me know

    Is there a kids menu?

I wish they did, but unfortunately they do not and very limited options for kids. I brought three of my kids there and the bill came out pretty hefty. Some of their dishes are a good size so you can share with a young one (age 9 and below). My… Read more

Do they still serve beef wellington during lunch?

Hi Alan, we are only serving our Beef Wellington during Dinner Service at this time.

Is there outdoor seating during the warmer months? And is the restaurant wheelchair-accessible?

No there is no outdoor seating and I think it is wheelchair accessible

Is only the Thanksgiving menu available on Thanksgiving day or is the normal dinner menu available as well?

Hi Cathy, Limited a la carte menu items will be available alongside our Thanksgiving dinner menu.

My wife left her purse at the restaurant but nobody ever picks up the phone. I have called numerous times. What do I do?

Hi David, email your contact information to guestrelations@grna.com and we connect with the restaurant team to get your wife’s purse back!

How do I confirm my reservation? No one answers the phone and the contact page on the website does not submit because you need an event date, the event date does not take no matter what date I use.

Do yourself a favor. Don't bother. Food was mediocre

What do I do if I lost the email confirmation for reservation and how do I reply to you with my name and email address, when I can't return an answer?

Hi Kimberly, I can resend that to you, can you give me the name on the reservation?

If a reservation is for 9:45 and the restaurant closes at 10, will be still be served the full menu?

Hi Caroline, yes, you will be able to order off the entire dinner menu at your reservation time. We look forward to seeing you!

    Is there free parking?

No. There is valet at the hotel, cost me $32 + tip on a Sunday lunch. There is limited on street meter parking and other garage parking options.

Can I order beef Wellington for lunch? Do I need to make reservation for the beef Wellington?

No. It's on they menu . But order as soon as You can and let them know that you are needing to leave at a certain time.

Kid friendly 4 year old and 13 year old?

Absolutely! We look forward to seeing you and your family!

Is there a dress code for lunch?

No dress code. Saw someone there in a hoodie and someone in a suit

Would it be ok to book a reservation for just myself?

    Of course!

What time does the lunch menu start?

The lunch menu is served from 11 am to 4 pm!

    How strict is dress code?

I would say there is no dress code. We wore jeans. It didn't seem like a so sophisticated environment when a dog wouldn't stop barking. Then the lady took it out her bag to calm it down and to take pictures with it. Weird to let a dog in the… Read more

Does the restaurant offer accommodations, specifically a dedicated fryer for guests that are allergic to gluten, dairy, seeds and nuts?

I would assume no. Our vegetarian was warned the French fries are done in the same fryer as the meat. So there is definitely cross-contamination.

Is the full menu available at the bar or is there a bar menu?

    Yes very much so!!

    Is the meat halal?

Hi Naadiya, At this time, none of the meat we serve at Ramsay’s Kitchen is halal.

Do I need a reservation or do they take walk ins?

During lunch you can walk into the bar side if early enough besides that online reservations early in the week and day better alot of their nights are now fully booked for a few months

There is literally fun everywhere you look from the panda stuffed animal riding a tiger on the wall to the hilarious shrek pillow. Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. I started with the grapefruit cocktail, followed by the hamachi crudo and the lobster roll. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The hamachi crudo was especially impressive, and the lobster roll was everything you'd hope for when dining in Boston. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. Salty Girl definitely deserves its high ratings, and I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Pros: The warm…read morelobster roll was tasty, buttery, and generously filled. My only gripe is that it comes with a bag of chips rather than French fries, which are standard at many lobster roll spots. Given the price point, fries would have felt more appropriate. The whole fried black bass with ponzu and cilantro, served with steamed rice, was excellent. You'll need to be comfortable navigating bones, but as Asians who grew up eating whole fish, that wasn't an issue for us. The fish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and one of the standout dishes of the meal. The fried Ipswich clams appetizer was also delicious. The batter was light, crisp, and seasoned perfectly without overwhelming the clams themselves. As for the ambiance, it felt like a blend of boho Miami chic and Tulum--bright, airy, and filled with soft pastel tones. A beautiful space for lunch. Cons: Unfortunately, both the Spring Crab Carbonara and Lobster Fra Diavolo missed the mark. While each dish was generous with crab and lobster meat, the pasta itself was a disappointment. Bucatini should have a firm, al dente bite. Instead, both plates arrived noticeably overcooked and soggy. No one orders bucatini expecting mush swimming in garlic tomato sauce. Beyond the texture issue, both pasta dishes lacked something. Call it zest, depth, or that certain je ne sais quoi, but neither dish delivered much flavor. Dare I say they were somewhat bland. At $38 and $45 respectively, that was particularly disappointing. Service was equally underwhelming. Despite having a 12:45 p.m. reservation, the hostess seated us at a four-top closest to the kitchen. There were numerous vacant four-top tables in more desirable locations throughout the dining room, yet we were placed there. We didn't complain, but all of us wondered, "Why this table?" Our server, Christy L., was adequate but hardly memorable. As visitors from Los Angeles, we've grown accustomed to servers making a little conversation--asking what brings you to town, offering recommendations, or simply establishing some rapport. Christy's interaction amounted to, "Hi, I'm your server. What can I get you?" and little else. She rarely checked back and never made much effort to engage. Because of that, we didn't feel the suggested gratuity options of 20%, 25%, or 30% on the payment screen were warranted. We left a standard 18% tip. Bottom Line: If you're craving excellent fried clams or a good lobster roll, this place is worth a visit. Beyond those items, however, there are plenty of restaurants that offer stronger culinary execution, more attentive and personable service, and equally attractive surroundings.

We also spent an hour at the King Tut exhibit across the street! This restaurant/bar always seems packed. And, with reservations for 645pm (highly recommend) the bar was quite busy. The buzz from this high-end cocktail bar is exactly what you want on a Friday evening; From girlfriends sipping their wine to couples laughing and swirling their cocktails, Moon Bar is for the classy and sexy. Abby our server is excellent! A mixologist who knows all the cocktails and can recommend based on your preference. I tried one of their new cocktails with bourbon and did not care for it. Abby made me my mezcal drink that I have ordered before...its the 305 cowboy, an extremely popular drink. A must try for sure! Note: Some bartenders make you feel guilty for saying something about a drink you ordered and did not like. But, here at Moon Bar, Abby was so gracious to make me something that I will enjoy. Hats off to her:) Food: Since it was restaurant week we just shared everything. For starters we ordered the Tuna Tartare that was excellent. Then, we had Piri-Piri Chicken Thighs that were also good but quite spicy. For dessert, we shared the Caribbean Tiramisu, which was great. It was a tough choice between this and the Guava Cheesecake. We were so full that we ended up bringing home leftovers. Oh, I also forgot to mention we always order their Curry Fries - a must try when coming here Trust Me. My husband doesn't love curry but he loves these fries and you will too. #friesaretodiefor Moon Bar, thanks for being amazing in every way. In advance, I stopped into the hotel to confirm that a gluten-free guest could be accommodated and was assured this would be handled. In reality, the accommodation was inadequate and, at times, unacceptable. While the rest of us were served scones, my stepdaughter was given cut fruit in their place, and told that was all they had to accommodate. The dessert course consisted of what appeared to be basic gluten-free cookies, misrepresented as something more gourmet - egg nog cookies??? This lack of preparation was both disappointing, upsetting and avoidable. The broader experience was equally concerning. We were subjected to an unsolicited and uncomfortable "lesson" on tea service, which detracted from what should have been a relaxed and celebratory occasion. While trying to enjoy the time with the girls, being a lifelong tea drinker and someone who has been to many times at your establishment and its various incarnations, this is something I have never experienced. The food quality was poor (scones were clearly reheated and stuck to the cloth napkin they were wrapped in), and there were notable service lapses, including being served water in a visibly shattered glass. Additionally, when hot water was added to refresh the tea, my stepdaughter's pot curdled and had to be replaced. It was especially disappointing, as I mentioned that I had stopped in and spoken with the concierge, and was assured, as they had called the kitchen while I stood there that they readily accommodated gluten-free. There are numerous places in the city that could have done this, and if you had just told me that you could not do so, I would have booked us elsewhere. I chose not to raise the multiple issues in the moment so as not to disrupt what was meant to be a special day for the girls and me. However, the total cost exceeded $500, and the experience did not come close to justifying that price point! Do not recommend.
