Truffle fries, fish, and crab cake.

Food: Jumbo Lump Crabcake: outstanding! Pure crab heaven. Seasoned really well. Salad was overdressed though. Fish and Chips (Truffle): Fries was okay nothing spectacular. I like Popeyes fries. Fish was bland - lacked seasoning. The breading was quite thick and that is all i can taste. Very disappointed! Service: Amir waited on us and he was excellent! Definitely an asset to this establishment. Ambiance: i have to walk thru the casino to get to RK. We can smell the Cigarette smoke and it lingered up to the restaurant. It was a very unpleasant eating environment when you can smell the smoke. Final words: I drove over an hour to try this place and we were making plans to celebrate a birthday here. After this experience, i am cancelling our plans. Overall, the place was a disappointment.

This was our first time here. I will say it will not be the last. Absolutely a great experience for all of us. It's not a cheap place to eat but what we all got was well worth the money. I go to the Beef Wellington and it was 75$ but it was so good. My wife got the grilled fish and some vegetables. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress was well informed about the menu. She took amazing care of us. The restaurant itself didn't look that big until you get in there. It's plenty big. It's expensive but I will say it was worth it to us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Love Gordon Ramsey- however this place still has some work to do. Very overpriced. Food was good. Took quite awhile to get our meals. Staff was friendly. It's newer- will hopefully improve with time.

We had a reservation and were sat almost immediately. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately we got sat next to a couple that was very loud, very messy and very intoxicated - luckily they were gone before our food arrived. We ordered the Parker rolls and a Caesar salad to start. My husband order the NY strip and I ordered the chicken pot pie and we got Mac and cheese to share. Our server - possibly named Jazmen - was very sweet. Her assistant, Austin, came over and filled our drinks at the start but didn't come back again to refill until the end even though I was out of water. The salad came out and was very tasty. Our entrees and mac and cheese were also delicious! However, our rolls were MIA for most of our meal. They finally arrived and they were mediocre at best. We definitely will not be ordering those again. We'll definitely come back to eat here again!

Nice restaurant to unwind, and go with a small group. Our server was the sweetest! She told us the back story of the restaurant. That the menu is what Gordon Ramsey would serve to his own family. Everything was shareable, huge portions. What we had... Appetizers: sticky cauliflower and wedge salad, wedge was the best I ever had! Entree: Beef Wellington. Give me anything with that demi-glaze on it and I will devour it!!!

Ramsays kitchen is located in Caesars casino in Danville. There's ample parking and easy to navigate to the restaurant once inside. The restaurant was also very spacious. Our waitress was super nice! I was a little disappointed to see the brunch menu as the only one being offered at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon but nonetheless the food we ordered was amazing. I still think about the truffle fries and the sticky toffee pudding has to be top 5 desserts I've ever had. The fish was massive, bigger than my hand. My only qualm with that is that the bottom got soggy. Overall this is a five star meal, the only thing bringing it down is the price. This would have to be a special occasion spot for us and for fried fish and fries the price was just a little too high for me. I'd come back to try something else and to DEFINITELY get the sticky toffee pudding again!

My first time at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. I came with my family for my dad's birthday. The place looks upscale and furnished with modern furniture and decor. We had a reservation and were seated right away. We went around 1 afternoon on a Saturday and it is not busy. The staff service here is excellent and do their best to make the visit great. I got water refills without having to run out or ask for it. The food was good but for the price, Ill come occasionally for special events. We started with a order of Brussels Sprouts. We ordered a variety of dishes(egg benedict over crab cake, steak frites with truffle fries, fish and chips, breakfast plate) to share and all of the food is good.

We were excited to try Ramsey's Kitchen in the Danville casino, especially for the beef Wellington we've loved at other Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Sadly, this visit fell short. The atmosphere of a Gordon Ramsey restaurant is always enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the prices were hard to justify -- $130 for a bottle of Meiomi (about $20 in stores) and similarly steep pricing across the drink menu. The beef Wellington just wasn't the same quality we've had elsewhere: underwhelming in both flavor and execution. On the upside, the sticky wings and broccolini were solid, but overall the experience didn't match the hype or the cost.

We were promptly seated in the bar area and received excellent care from Odell. We split a wedge salad and ordered the sticky chicken wings. The food was delicious and very flavorful. We love an old-fashioned and Odell was very knowledgeable with his suggestions. We started with the "Odell special" and it was slap the table delicious. We had an enjoyable dinner and tried several of the drinks. Next time you're at the casino, go see Odell at Ramsey's. He's worth it and will take excellent care of you!

Located inside the Caesar's casino complex, this is a great restaurant to grab a tasty meal. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only sat at the bar and grabbed cocktails. Abby was our bartender and made some spectacular cocktails. We ordered a Sidecar (highly recommend) and a vodka martini that was delicious. Highly recommend this place for drinks. Food menu very pricey! Very nice relaxing and chill vibes.

Service and ambiance was very good however this is the 2nd time we have eaten here and the 2nd time we were very disappointed. I will start with the onion soup it was so salty I could have used it as a gargle for a sore throat, I almost send it back but poured my water in it to make it edible. My wife had the Branzino again very salty and the lamb i had was cooked well but again salty, not as bad as the soup. This restaurant carries Gordon Ramsay's name and is a expensive restaurant 200 dollars for my wife and I with 1 wine each all I can say we won't be back.

First of all, I would like to say we had the most amazing waitress. Not only was she attending the bar, but she made sure that we were attended.. She gave us great recommendations helping pair drinks with the foods. The food was excellent the pimento fritters is out of this world the flavors the crunch and everything is amazing. I absolutely loved it.. Let's talk about the beef Wellington , there's nothing better than taking a bite and knowing that meat melts in your mouth, it was perfectly done. Well done it's a great portion. However, to my surprise, I must say the fish and chips was an absolutely favorite.. I'm not one to love fish, but this was amazing. It was well battered well cooked honestly I've never had better fish and chips in this.. The ambience is perfect. I loved it. It's very intimate. The only downfall is with a casino being so close by you get the music that's played and it can be a bit loud sometimes. . Apart from that it was an overall great experience. Highly recommended.

The idiosyncrasies do not stop with the name. Inside, The Rustic Barn offers an intimate space with low lighting and some interesting décor: random photos of locomotives adorn the wall. The menu skews Thai albeit with some Japanese dishes (gyoza, teriyaki, yaki udon) and a few (a burger, a steak and potatoes) that fit the establishment's rurally suggestive name. The proprietor, Jeb, is gracious and accommodating as well as a showman who likes to joke with his guests. His promise of "everything fresh, everything homemade" is a lot to live up to, but the kitchen here has the chops to deliver on that promise. Our group went with a pair of starters (crab rangoons and gyoza), a pair of curries (roadhouse and green), and a pair of noodle dishes (yaki udon and pad Thai). Everything was attractively plated and delicious. The rangoons were hand-formed into delicate shapes and contained plenty of filling while the gyoza were nice and crisp. My entrée was the roadhouse curry: the house version of Massaman. A hearty dish, it boasted thick-cut vegetables and a rich sauce done to the desired (a little bit spicy) level of heat. Prices are moderate (entrees start in the upper teens), but portions are plenty filling. Given how many Danville restaurants were closed on a Sunday evening, I count myself lucky that The Rustic Barn was not among them. If you come here seeking country cooking, you'll be confused and perhaps disappointed. But if you know what you're getting yourself into, the combination of personable service and tasty food in an offbeat location makes this the epitome of a hidden gem.

She skipped the onions, added ketchup and mustard, and got a side salad. I kept mine simple with no ketchup or mustard. Food came out fast. Appetizer and burgers hit the table in just over five minutes, which was impressive. The burgers were good. Not over the top, but juicy and worth the price. The only miss was the bun. It was cold and could have used a quick toast or at least some heat. The house salad was fresh with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, cheese, and croutons. I tried to swap my fries for sweet potato fries and ended up getting both, so no complaints there. Just know the sweet potato fries count as extra. Fries came out hot and stayed hot. The sweet potato fries had a nice balance, not soggy, not too hard. The corn fritters were the standout. Crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside. Service from Amber or Shannon was great. Attentive, friendly, and helpful. The only slowdown came at the end. It took longer to get the check than it did to receive the food. The space is in a reclaimed industrial building with exposed brick and high ceilings. Very large and open with plenty of room for groups and events. There is a main dining area, a busy bar, and a separate section with bowling lanes. The crowd was mixed. Families, couples, groups, people at the bar, even a few on laptops. Plenty of TVs and music, but it stays at a manageable level. Accessibility is decent with a lift available. Parking is nearby street or lot parking. Overall, a fun, casual place with strong value, especially on Tuesday nights. Must order: Corn fritters Heads up: Buns may come out cold and sweet potato fries are an extra

We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery. It is a beautiful location right next to the River District. There's a lovely park, splash pad, and playground right along the Dan River. We were so stoked to eat right there. The interior of the restaurant was so fun. We loved the decorations. Books everywhere! The server was ok at first. But when we were done, I did not like how she presented me the check. She just quickly flashed me an amount on a screen, and then hid the screen. I asked if I could pay cash and she accepted it but did not bring me a check even then. We ordered 3 burgers that sounded really good. Such a disappointment. The burger meat in each was shaped perfectly and was as hard as a hockey puck. They appeared to be cooked medium but the meat was tough and gristly. I have no idea how they got all the burgers the exact, uniform hockey puck shape. They must be like those frozen ones you can get at Costco. But $17.95 for a frozen hockey puck? At one point, while my kids were telling me how gross the patties were, while my husband and I told them they had to eat them to go play on the playground, I flagged the server down and asked what type of meat it was. She said beef. However, it did not taste like beef. Thank goodness for all the toppings because if they were plain burgers, they would have been inedible. We were so hungry though so we ate what we could. Notably, the buns also tasted cheap like they had just come out of a stale grocery store deli bag. The seasoned fries, sweet potato fries, the homemade ranch and ketchup, and salad with homemade vinaigrette were ok. After we left, I added up what we ordered again and realized she must have charged me an extra $12 to swap out a veggie patty for a beef patty. I was not told there would be an upcharge so felt a little swindled, especially with how she presented the check. I wish I had kept the veggie patty though, because it probably would have been better. Also my kid who had said the burgers were so gross puked right after we left and immediately felt much better and enjoyed 2 hours on the playground. My other kid was jealous of the other one puking. Like you can't make this kind of stuff up. This spot has so much potential. I would honestly hope to visit again just to chill outside but would not ever eat the burgers.
