Brunch on Saturday was busy but service was good and so was the food. We ordered corned beef hash Bennie and banana waffle. Very chill vibe with easy parking.

Food is great! I enjoyed the chicken salad. They have live music often. Nice to sit outside and people watch. They have a lot of outside seating so bring your dog. They will get your dog water. Service was great! Would like to see more beer choices.

Went to high school in Solana Beach and can honestly say that T's has been consistently good for a long time. I like it better than Sunnyside down the street and feel it is a solid breakfast option in small, sleepy Solana Beach. They have a fairly small menu, but it is full of great options and a lot of breakfast classics. Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish so I loved seeing many different types of Benedict options on the menu. Parking is extremely easy and service is always fast. Our server today was especially polite and everything that we ordered came out quickly and was cooked to our order. For this most recent visit, I chose to order the Surf Side Crabcake Benedict and thought it was actually very good. I had a Crabcake Benedict the previous week and this version was much better. The coffee is also strong and the pricing is fair and it's honestly a great option on the beautiful 101. They have indoor and outdoor seating and I would just highly recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast spot in Solana Beach.

T's Cafe is ok. Their food is pretty good, the service is just ok. I would go back and most certainly will. But I wouldn't bring out of town guests here. I wouldn't come here expecting a great experience. The Great - They have specials that are fun! (just make sure you look at the front, because a server isn't going to tell you about them.) The Good - Plentiful Coffee The Bad - Service is good enough, just not very friendly or attentive The Ugly - The restrooms are pretty gross. Not waste everywhere, but no one is cleaning the the baseboards, walls or floor I don't think. T's is a nice place to go if your in the area. Sit outside, enjoy the sites, expect decent food, but don't expect much more.

Friendly service, yummy food, ample amount of indoor/outdoor seating. We sat at the bar (there was a 10 minute wait for a table) which was perfect. The bartender/server Uzbek was attentive, helpful and friendly. We put in our orders fairly quick, but they did take a while to come out- id say 20-30 min. Both dishes were yummy, except for my biscuits - they felt overdone and hard, not that edible. The coffee was good and so was the OJ. *on a Sunday, they were pretty slow until about 10:30 - that's when we saw a line start to form :) Enjoy!

Was deciding between this and another place. Ended up going here, based on the menu. Arrived a little after opening. Similar to another review, I was standing at the host area for a few minutes. I think one gentleman was handling everything until I left when another server came in. I got seated in a booth. The sun initially was a little bothersome, as it was right in the eyes. But, it adjusted enough. I went with the T's Country Benny (country fried steak), which came on a biscuit and not an english m7ffin. This was excellent! The breading on the steak was crispy and flavored well. Tender, too. The biscuits were soft and did a great job at soaking up the egg yolk and gravy. The gravy had an excellent flavor, as well. I got a side of hashbrowns. These were your typical hashbrowns. Cooked perfectly. Coffee was OK, too. I was a satisfied diner.

Cute little cafe right by the beach and lots of outdoor and indoor seating. We only waited about 15 minutes to get seated outside (no wait for inside) and ordered a caramel iced coffee, OJ, and Bloody Mary to drink while we waited for the food to come out. Service was very sweet and all the food we saw coming out, especially the sandwiches and French toast, looked SO GOOD and also huge! I got their seasonal special carnitas benny which was packed full of flavor and my friend got a more traditional breakfast with the fluffiest pancakes. Prices were also not bad for a restaurant by the water. So happy to have found a great brunch spot next time I'm in Solana beach.

At T cafe .... Waiting patiently for food.

I sat there patiently, and the female employee came to the register to take my order after a while. I ordered my burrito... we had a choice of bacon or chorizo at the included price. Carne assda was three dollars extra or if I wanted all three meats it was five dollars extra. I probably should've not done this, but I paid for all three. I walked around while I waited. After seeing everything in the entire place, I took a seat near the Pick-up counter. While I was waiting there, the guy who was cooking was complaining about so many things. The one thing that really was upsetting is he said something along the lines of "people have to wait for their food anyways." this guy is angry and bitter, and does not like his job. The wait was oddly long I was tempted to ask them to cancel my order but I waited. The Third employee handing me my food with a smile in a box no bag no napkins no nothing. I guess those were self served, but would've been nice if he had said something because I got home and didn't have napkins or anything. The icing on the cake is paid for three meat definitely there's no bacon in here and I think I found one piece of Carne Asada so I paid five dollars extra basically for a chorizo burrito . There's hardly anything inside of it. I taste more tortilla than the inside. This was the most disappointing burrito. I think I've ever had in my life. I should've gone to the taco shop and gotten a much better burrito. Shame on you, Ranch 45. I don't have the energy to call you or go back and why waste my time and money coming back to complain. Our last visit also took a ridiculous amount of time for one pastrami sandwich. I was waiting in the car while my husband went in. Sad to say I doubt I'll be back here ever again. Step up your Customer Service step up the execution of your beef. Stellar quality meat is not enough. You need to execute and have staff that isn't complaining with an earshot of the customers.

This one is right near the Del Mar racetrack down the street. It's in a shopping mall and it's sort of hidden. On the side of a big building there is a set of stairs that you can walk up and if you go forward and to the right or left, you'll see the restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we chose to sit outdoors because it was so nice. I knew aside from having their pancakes. I was gonna try something new and I decided that breakfast burrito was in the works. I really enjoyed it very much. Bacon, egg, cheese, hashbrowns were inside the burrito. It came with the side of salsa, and a side of beans. The beans were OK, but the burrito was the best part which was very important. I ordered a stack of bacon, pancakes, which were good as always. My wife kept it short and sweet and had a stack of strawberry pancakes, which looked really good. The service was really great and everything was perfect to start our day on our way home.

We were nervous about a wait, but it wasn't very busy when we arrived. It feels like you could be in any generic cafeteria as far as vibes go, but our waitress was very nice and there was a good energy in the air. Our waitress made a mistake and put in the wrong omelet for us, so ended up with the Santa Fe, which was...OK. I guess they bake it, so it tasted a bit dry and it definitely needed more seasoning. The hash browns had the same problem. Our daughter got the chocolate chip pancakes and she loved them, but we found them to be pretty average. Their showcase dish--the baked apple pancake--was definitely spectacular when it came out on the plate, but the actual eating experience was only so-so. The crispier parts on the outside were really good if you ate them with some maple syrup, but the rest was a bit mushy and the whole thing was shockingly sweet. We had a very pleasant morning here, the staff is nice, and apparently the business is family owned, so we wish them well. We're happy to have tried it, but it's not like we would full-throatedly recommend the place. Three stars with no ill will.

I decided to have brunch there but when I arrived everyone was watching a soccer game...rooting for the French Team. It was pleasant to see the owners, staff, and guests so into the game. (editing to add this is a French-owned and Black-owned business, in case folks are looking!)…read more I usually come here when I'm doing errands on Cedros - and I usually just want to get my français on and order a café crème and a croissant. But today I needed a little extra je ne sais quoi because my morning was annoying, so I decided to splurge on lunch and not just a pastry here. I asked Steve, the (très beau et gentille!) co-owner what the quiche of the day was. There were two: one with jambon (ham) and one with épinards et fromage de chèvre (spinach and goat cheese). When I hesitated, he told me that the spinach one was amazing. Even though it's $20 for a quiche plate, I decided to go for it. I thought I was going to get a sad little quiche slice for that amount and might regret it. But OMG, it was more than worth it! Already they have a lovely patio on this pretty street in this fancy design district. But it was also a HUGE and exceptionally savory rectangular slice, alongside a DELECTEABLE petite salade. I asked Steve what mustard they use in the vinaigrette, and he said plain old Dijon - but the proportions and the seasoning were EXCELLENT. So it was salad perfection, not heavily dressed at all, just delightful. The patio was full on a Friday with ladies who lunch - but did that include me, as a solo diner, since I am a lady who had lunch? I'm not sure, but you can feel comfortable here no matter what. And now I know Madeleine Cafe is much too good to just come for coffee and for ordering in French from Steve or his co-owner Emmanuel. I don't want to spend that much for lunch every day - but I'll be back!
