    CRISPY BURRITOS but vegan
    Diane Y.

We went for Mother's Day brunch and we expected it to be crazy but it was pretty efficient. Our server was very kind and calm. She was able to verify vegan options and I realized I could order many more things than were actually labeled. I got these cute crispy burritos vegan and they were absolutely delicious. The chocolate matcha latte was also amazing. It was a beautiful day and a great place so close to the beach. Thank you for so many wonderful vegan options!!!

Healthy, natural options made fresh to fuel you up for the day in the sun while keeping your calories manageable. Located just blocks away from the water and situated with an amazing view, Naked Cafe has nothing to hide but this hidden gem is off the well traveled highway 101 serving patrons inside and outside of their cozy bungalow-styled establishment. As you arrive (for many by foot), consider seating yourself at one of the many umbrella-shaded tables or venture inside to grab a seat. I saw a few folks with dogs so if you plan to come with your furry friend, the place seems to be well suited for them. For those looking to order takeout, simply walk up to the register and the staff will get you started. Their menu includes a variety of options like wraps, burritos, salads, bowls, tacos, pancakes, and other brunch-like items. Their drink menu is also extensive including alcohol like wines, mimosa and beer as well as coffees, teas and smoothies. You're bound to find something fitting that craving of yours or satisfying the nutrients needed for energizing your metabolism. I ended up ordering the pesto chicken wrap that also came with a side of chips. The wrap was loaded with succulent pieces of chicken and was very flavorful. The whole grain tortilla held up well throughout the meal and had good texture with each bite. The chips that came along were decent - had good crunch but lacked any kind of flavor. Fortunately the salsa came in clutch to kick things up a notch. The portions were also better than I had expected. The staff were friendly, efficient in placing our order and packaging it up, and thorough in fulfilling the order by including utensils and napkins as they handed the order to us. For takeout orders, they had given us an approximate wait time of 15 minutes and it was quite accurate. There wasn't much space to wait near the register so we ended up waiting near the front entrance near the sidewalk but after the 15 minutes, we made our way back to see that our order was in the process of getting packed up. Overall, Naked Cafe is a great spot to grab a light meal or lunch while soaking in so rays. With its open seating area covered only by the umbrellas at each table, you'll bask in the open air while consuming delicious plates made to order with fresh ingredients and healthy and sustainable options. For those with strict diets, you might want to seek this place out and see for yourself. The menu is anything but bare at Naked Cafe!

NAKED CAFE @ SOLANA BEACH Parking was super convenient, there's plenty of street parking, or you can park in their four-hour free customer lot, which is also available for beachgoers. I came on a Sunday and had no trouble finding a spot. Naked Café is literally right by the beach, about a two minute walk, which makes the location absolutely beautiful. I've been to their Carlsbad location before, so I was really excited to finally check this one out. At first glance, this location is definitely much smaller than the Carlsbad one. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but since it was a bit chilly being right on the coast, I preferred sitting indoors. It was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon, so we waited about 30 minutes, which honestly wasn't too bad. One thing I did notice, though, is that the trash and recycling bins are right next to the line and outdoor seating, which made sitting outside a little less pleasant. Once we were seated, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered their iconic pesto avocado toast, which is hands down my favorite. It comes with a side of rosemary potatoes, and they are to die fornot greasy or deep-fried, but a much healthier and flavorful alternative. I also love their chocolate strawberry pancakes. My boyfriend and I split them, two pancakes for about $10, which felt like a great deal. He ordered the Green Heart quesadilla, which was also really good. We added avocado for an additional $3, and he paired it with a kombucha. The food came out in about 10 minutes, which was impressive given how busy it was. The interior is super beachy, cozy, and cute, and overall the food is consistently delicious. Entrées range around $15-$18, which is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I'd highly recommend stopping by especially if you can sit indoors. I'll definitely be coming back again.

Very close to the beach Cute, small cafe offering whole food options. Outside seating is dog friendly. Many GF, vegetarian, and vegan options Parking is street parking I got the brown butter latte that is on special for the holidays and the bacon avocado toast The coffee was very good and they were able to personalize it to decaf and whole milk The avocado toast was very generous portion came with one sunny side up egg, what appeared to be an entire avocado, and two slices of thick cut bacon. The pesto was very tasty. Comes with potatoes on the side that we're not to my liking. No texture and they had tomatoes in them, which I'm not a fan of. I did have the tomatoes removed off of the avocado toast. Staff were friendly and interactive, but not overbearing .

I discovered Naked Cafe today while I was out at Fletcher Cove Beach with my little one. I was craving a coffee and it was conveniently right there. There was nice outdoor seating which was amazing because the weather was beautiful and there's views of the beach from there too. I ordered my coffee (honey cinnamon latte) and decided to try the steak tenderloin hash. Both were so delicious! We came about half an hour before they close for the day but the server was kind and let us order and chill for a bit. It was a nice little spot in a good area with good food so I would return when I'm in the area again!

I've been coming here for over 20 years and I love it. Can't beat the location, the food is tasty and always consistent, the employees are always kind and accommodating. Good vibes all around. My only complaint would be that the bathroom does not have a changing table for babies. But they just redid the inside and expanded their espresso bar so maybe a bathroom upgrade is next! My favorite items are the rising sun quesadilla, crispy breakfast burritos, coconut French toast and sesame ginger tacos.

Breakfast is by far my most favorite meal of the day. I always wake up hungry as some people wake up craving their first cup of coffee. Just feed me please! I had this café bookmarked for the Encinitas location, but my good friend told me this location was more scenic. She was so right! We came on a weekday and it was busy but we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view and we were lucky enough to get a table right away. There is also indoor dining available as well but when you are on the coast, you usually want to sit outside. The café is dog friendly so we had my friends dog with us. The view is so nice across the street from Fletcher Cove Park and then Boom! there is the ocean. We started out with the Daydreamer Mimosa - champagne, fresh squeezed lemonade and lavender and the Pink Lotus Mimosa - champagne, fresh squeezed lemonade and raspberry. Both drinks were very refreshing and brought a nice buzz to the morning. So many great choices on the menu to choose from but I decided on the Solstice Burritos. This was such a good choice. The burritos were filled with scrambled eggs, jack cheese, green onion, tomato, flour tortilla, I added avocado, side of beans and rosemary potatoes. I really loved my meal and drink. Everything tasted so fresh and I would love to dine here again to try more of their dishes. For our vegan friends, they also serve you with many scrumptious dishes. Our server Michael was so kind and he made sure we were well taken care of even bringing some water over for my friends' dog. Thank you Michael for your fantastic service. Parking is complimentary on the street where you can find it. It is mixed residential/commercial in this area. I am so glad we came here to start our weekend off right by dining on the shores of the west coast.

Very cute cafe right across the street from Fletcher Cove (beach and playground). Large outdoor patio as well as a cozy indoor dining area. Good for groups or small parties and very kid friendly--excellent kid's menu! The food was tasty but I've been there a few times and it was a little inconsistent. Love that they have a wide variety of options and a lot of healthy ones (that still look and sound delicious) too. My main complaint is the bees. As I mentioned I've been there multiple times and there are a lot of bees or wasps) not sure which) on the patio. We moved indoors twice and one time they were even inside. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to harm or remove the bees, but it did detract from our dining experience. Regardless I will still come back because it's a great neighborhood spot!

Love this local brunch spot! It's right across from Fletcher's Cove beach. It has plenty of free parking spots, even on an Easter holiday weekend. The food was quick and oh so tasty! Michael, our server, was attentive but not too overbearing. He was very good about customizing my dish when I asked about replacing the pesto spread (due to a nut allergy). If you're looking for a casual beachy brunch spot, then get Naked right here! You won't regret it!

We brought our three puppies to this dog friendly restaurant for brunch. If you don't mind sitting at this quaint spot, it's just a block away from the ocean. We ordered the endless summer tacos and the green & red pagoda along with a pomegranate and grapefruit juice and a cappuccino. The food was phenomenal and came to the table quick. The best tasting brown rice I've ever had. Tacos were amazing! Service didn't skip a beat! 5 stars! This is our new favorite for brunch!

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

This would have been an average San Diego coffee shop experience for me, except for the fact that I absolutely LOVED the cherry bomb! It's a cherry mocha and essentially a perfect drink for me. Back in 2019, Starbucks had a seasonal cherry mocha for Valentine's Day that I was obsessed with. Apparently I was the only one, because they haven't brought it back since. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte.
