Gel acrylic manicure with chrome.. $70 for the set. Suggested by nail tech as it "lasts longer." Not worth it.

Usually come here for a pedicure and decided to splurge and get a manicure. My original choice was dip powder, somehow the tech convinced me to get acrylic and gel, supposedly it "lasts longer." After the end result I wish I would of stuck to my original choice and just gone with the dip powder. The photos attached to my review are even after he corrected an issue with the chrome. I left and came back and noticed there was an issue with some nails, some had weird dark spots in certain lighting. When I sat in the chair to correct the chrome issue, I informed him the I also thought the nails were too thick. (He knew from the beginning I was not going to add length) he simply replied "your nail is too short." They were the same length when we started... as a nail tech he should of known maybe the acrylic would of been an issue. Mind you, I already mentioned to him I was unhappy about the thickness... to correct the issue what does he do..... add more thickness... another layer of gel polish, clear coat, chrome and then another clear coat. I understand he was working on another client, but if he would of said can you come back later and I'll fix it, I would have. The more I look at this set, the more upsetting it is... $70 wasted... I can't even remember his name. I wish I did.

I always have such a great experience at Branch Nails! My nail technician, Uyen, is fantastic. She is always on time for my appointments, which I really appreciate, and she does an exceptional job every single time. She's detailed, professional, and my nails always come out beautiful. I definitely recommend her!

That isn't what you would expect after a routine pedicure

I had a very disappointing experience during my pedicure. While cleaning around my big toenail, the technician used the cuticle clipper to pull at my skin instead of carefully trimming it. It was painful, caused immediate bleeding, and left multiple open cuts around my toe. As you can see in the photo, there are several holes and raw areas where the skin was pulled away. A pedicure should never leave a customer bleeding or injured. I left in pain and now have to worry about the wound healing and the risk of infection. I hope the salon provides better training and is more careful with clients in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

This is my go-to nail salon! Every time I come in, my nails turn out so pretty and always look like the Pinterest pictures I bring. They last me for weeks without lifting, and the quality is always consistent. The staff is super nice, and I always leave obsessed with my nails. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for nails that actually last and look amazing.

I have lived in the area since before this shopping center opened so I'm surprised I've never been here. I needed a same day appointment and fortunately Ranch Nails was able to accommodate me. When I walked in, I was actually surprised by how large it was inside. It was clean. I was sitting in one of the first chairs and could see items stored behind the counter which was tacky. The nail technicians worked quickly and didn't talk much (which is perfect for me). I had a glow pedicure and dip overlay on my hands. I was glad to spend a little extra on the pedicure because the massage was worth it! My nails look great and I was happy with the color selection. Prices were fair. I plan to come back!

I've been here multiple times...I went yesterday to get a mani and pedi. It was the first time I tried the dipping powder here. I had high hopes as the reviews stated the dipping powder was great here. Maybe it was the person I got...I didn't catch his name...Vietnamese; he has dyed dirty blond on top and wears glasses. Well...he was absolutely sloppy! He didn't even soak my fingers in water to clean them off. He buffed and shaped my nails and left all the nail dust all over my hands and proceeded to coat my nails dust and all on my nails! He said it would be ok. When the powder dipping process was done,i had color seeping out into my fingers in some of my nails . He hastily wiped off my hands and then just walked off without saying anything. I don't ever want this person again. Horrible!

Just moved to the area and I'm happy I found a clean and modern salon near my home. This is my third manicure here and most techs have been great! I recently had a French manicure done with Hailey and she was amazing! It had only been a month since my last manicure and she cleaned my cuticles like it had been a year the amount of dead skin she cut off was unbelievable lol. Thank you Hailey!

Came here at 1030 on a Sunday morning and they weee already busy when I walked in. Mind you they open at 1030! The girls in the front were very sweet and efficient. Offered me something to drink and got me set up with my nail techs all working 5 minutes of walking in. I came for a gel mani and gel pedi (had gel on both already) and was amazed it only took an hour. I did go with the quickest service option. But I didn't feel rushed and definitely felt relaxed. Loved how my hands and feet felt afterward. Both nail techs were quiet but worked really well. Prices are average. It's all about quality and cleanliness and that's what you're paying for. Would definitely recommend and come back. read more

I just had the most wonderful experience at Ranch nail spa in Ontario. I had the pleasure of meeting a new nail technician by the name of Tiffany. She is very patient, attentive, and very detail oriented. She told me that the coffin shape that I've been wanting for the longest time that no one seems to know what to do with is called small coffin, she took the time with my nails and she shaped them the way I wanted them to be, and I am definitely recommending Tiffany! My LAST and FINAL time coming to this salon :/ To keep it short: Overhang, Poor Retention, and Overpriced. 2 weeks ago, I came in for a pedi, Gel X removal, and new Gel X Set. The Pedi and Gel X removal went fine, but my new set... completely took a turn. Tess, who told me she has been doing nail work since '93, did a Botched Up Job of my nails... I had originally come in for a simple & short french tip design and had a good time talking to her, but being the timid person I am she convinced me to do something completely different.. And she then charges me $5 extra for glitter on the tips with ~ no ~ warning beforehand that she suggested and i did not ask for!! A grand total of $130 for all this work. :/ I'm not one for confrontation and wasn't even going to post a review until I already had lifting only 2 weeks in!! I mean the proof is in the pudding. If you like her work, by all means you do you. read more

Great experience. I did a walk-in and was able to get a manicure and a pedicure with top level of service. I never felt rushed. Everything was clean and good communication. I was also surprised by all of the beverages available for refreshment. The girl upfront was running the show very professionally like a boss. Communicating with everybody very quick and friendly. She took control and made sure that all services were provided immediately. I've been observed her control all the customers coming in and get them set up immediately with no wait time. Very impressed. I also felt like the price for services was reasonable. I'll be back !!! read more

This was my first time getting GelX and I got to keep the length of my natural nails under which I loved because I wanted them to keep growing. I usually do just gel in my natural nails but a couple of them were short so I wanted to let them grow. I needed my nails done for a weekend vacation and two week trip and they lasted the whole time, I still have them now and not much growth has happened a month later! I got a simple design added as well. It did take a long time because it was the weekend and I didn't have an appointment but my mani and pedi came out great and the wait was worth it! read more

Came in for a mani pedi. Originally asked the guy if he could do my nails after my pedi so I can enjoy it and not have to reach my arms across each time. He ignored my request. Then started to cut my nails and asked me to turn the massage off. Then when they were having me move my feet in the water my phone dropped. At this point I asked if I could just get a regular manicure. He then got up and told me the girl could finish the service instead. I watched him sit and do nothing for the next 20 mins. I decided to forget it altogether and don't bother with the manicure because I was over the whole service. He only cut my nails didn't even clean them up and charged me $10 to cut the nails. I ended up paying but his attitude towards me and overall vibe of this place was not it. The pedicure was okay but she was scrubbing my feet so hard that it actually hurt. I'll never go back here. read more

The service is always top notch with Ken. My nails last 6 weeks, amd.coyld probably go longer, but the growth gets on my nerves. Ken has been doing my nails for about 6 months or less, and he already knows the length I prefer. Julie does my pedicure. She listens and has my nails as short as possible, the way I like. The only negative I could say is, I wish with each dip, it included a cuticle clean up/soak. Price is high to not include that,however, the work lasts. read more

Im new to the area and needed desperately to get a pedi. Service 6/5- Greeted with smiling faces. Guided to a station at the time of my appointment. Atmosphere 6/5- Clean and organized. Quality of Service 3.5/5 Denice- Gel Pedi (Color Pinky Promise) Great customer service. L 2nd toe is cut a lil too short, R Big toe is cut uneven, and there's gel on my cuticle on my pinky toe. My first time at this salon and my experience was great. I had an appointment on a Saturday and was taken back right away. I originally scheduled a pedicure but they were also able to accommodate me for a manicure. They have a variety of beverage options and provide you with a service menu. Prices are slightly higher than what is listed on their website. My pedicure and manicure were very relaxing and the technician made sure everything was to my liking. I love the shape she gives my almond nails, and she always listens to exactly what I want. She never rushes and always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with the final result. Brian does my pedicures, and I always enjoy his massages, they're one of my favorite parts of the appointment! My daughter also comes here and gets her gel builder done by Annie and her pedicures with Kim. She's just as happy with their work as I am, and we both plan on continuing to come here. Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to book appointments. They currently don't have online booking through a website, but scheduling through Instagram DM is quick and convenient for me, they respond promptly. One of the biggest reasons I'll keep coming back is that they respect their customers' time. When I have an appointment, I'm seen on time instead of waiting 20-30 minutes like I have at other salons. That makes a huge difference and shows they value their clients. If you're looking for a clean, professional nail salon with talented technicians and excellent customer service, I definitely recommend Eastvale Nail Spa. You won't be disappointed!

I should also mention an uncomfortable moment during my pedicure. After finishing, my technician directed me to a seat for my gel fill, and the technician at that station yelled back at her in their native language, refusing to take me. This went on for several minutes before I was moved elsewhere. As the only African American customer present at the time, the situation felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I'm sharing this because I do want to continue supporting your business, but these repeated issues make it hard to feel confident returning. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future visits.

Here visiting from Florida. I googled the local nail salon.... Found this one. Long story short, I had one of my toes cracked open and half with a door recently and wanted to go somewhere to have it fixed up with some acrylic and a nice pedicure to match all the toes. Upon arrival, the lady poured the water very cold, and was trying to fix it, but had filled it pretty full.. she went and grabbed a sterilized packet of utensils that she was going to use on my toes but, First pulled one of the utensils out and drained the water by poking a hole in the bag and swishing the utensil in the drain to get rid of some of the water. Then proceeded to use the same utensil on my toe.... When I asked her to get another utensil, she made a big complaint and told me. " all I did was poke a hole in the bag." I literally watched her alcohol and swish the water out the drain and then attempt to do a pedicure on me with the same tool... she didn't like that. I asked her to get a different tool and was yelling across the room at me twice " I only poked the hole through the bag" I explain to her that this was unsanitary and could give me fungus as I've already had this experience before, and she told me " don't come back here talking about how I gave you fungus when you already had it before here" exactly my point!!! And since I know what she did was unsanitary, she should have some common sense. I am so disappointed in this place please take precaution if you go here... Timmy N- I see you only comment on the people that leave good comments but, you should be on here also apologizing to the customers that have the satisfaction. There is a reason for it. read more

I still haven't been able to go get my nails done because of the mistreatment that man had done to me gives me anxiety .. I'm a massage therapist too and need to go in every 2 weeks !! His quality was horrible I love this spa but he literally gave me the worst experience of my life with a service !! Rude, acted like he didn't want to touch me (and was fast and rough giving me scabs on the sides , treated me like I was gonna steal ("no funny business you pay now " (cause I was giving the code to charge my car on the phone ) , also he added gel and layered it like 3 times on my toes creating a layer of hard shell that curved it (I've never had ingrowns on both sides of both my big toes !! I had to use nail clippers to chip each layer of the polish!! I think his horrible attitude is a cover up cause he's also not skilled whatsoever at this job so he want to blame customers wouldn't be surprised if he was abusive by the way he treated me Honestly you should send him to the bad spas cause he is literally driving your business down !! I've gotten my nails done twice by Candy so far. She exceeds my expectations every time; on my first visit I got long acrylic nails with 3d flower petals and rhinestones on, my second visit I tried gelx, also known as gel extension, with neon Halloween designs on and they turned out fantastic! Candy is quick and very attentive to details, whichever design I pick she's always able to accomplish the best look out of it. Besides, there's an eyelash technician named Tiffany, she does beautiful mink lashes! I would recommend scheduling an appointment with her in advance. There are openings for microblading as well if anyone is interested. The salon itself is always kept clean. I appreciate the drinks they offer such as coffee, soda, mimosas, and much more. I am so disappointed with this nail company. I been coming here over 3 years each time I come I have to wait over 15mins. I usually don't complain or become upset because I am Loud to the nail shop. On Thursday I had an appointment at 5:15pm and because I was late they cancelled my appointment and told me I had to reschedule. Any other time they would call and ask was I coming this time they didn't. This is POOR SERVICE! If I can wait 15 mins for the service why not wait 10mins for me. Where is your loyalty to me as I been coming give you business and referring people to you. Now I have nothing GOOD TO SAY ABOUT YOU GUYS. I've been coming to this nail salon for years and have had many great nail techs, but Taylor is definitely my favorite! He's attentive, professional, and always respects my style while introducing me to new colors and designs. I had two pedicures at this place and I had no problems getting prompt service when I did. The service was ok. On both ocassions, the service was provided by male workers. I noticed that male beauticians are not as attentive to customers. For instance, when they are done, they just leave. Female beauticians in general, will see to it that you are ok, that you can pick out your wallet, get the VISA card, etc. Male workers tend to lack the warmth and attentiveness that female workers provide. So I wen t on Google and looked for a nail salon with good ratings near me and Ranch Nails Spa came up. When I called they said they take walk ins, so I gave them a try. I am more and more impressed every time I go to this nail salon. I typically make my appointments right at opening, so have never had to wait long. The receptionist is super sweet and always offers a free beverage. Their coffee is on the sweet side but delicious! The technicians go out of their way to understand what I want and make suggestions if I'm unsure. They take extra time to perfect the art on each nail and make sure I am happy when I leave. I first went to Angie's Nail Garden in July because I needed my nails done for a family vacation. I booked my appointment online, and when I arrived, I was greeted and offered a drink. Everything seemed fine at first. When it was time to paint my nails, I specifically asked for a pink and white ombré French tip. Instead, my entire nail was painted white, and then the tips were painted pink. I was very surprised by how they turned out and told Angie that I did not like the way they looked. Instead of removing the white gel, she painted another color over it. I wanted to say more, but I also had an infant waiting for me and did not want to stay any longer. The following week, I went to another nail salon to have them fixed. Even the new manicurist pointed out that the second color should not have been painted over the first one. This made me feel that my frustration with the experience was valid. My second issue was being blocked from scheduling appointments because of cancellations. I had booked several appointments, but there were times when Angie did not respond in a timely manner to confirm whether my appointment was approved. Because I had not received a response, I would cancel about an hour before the appointment. If there is a cancellation policy, I feel appointments should be approved or denied in a timely manner so customers know whether their appointment is confirmed. Overall, I was not happy with my experience. Being blocked from the scheduling system may be for the best, as I do not plan on returning.
