Absolutely love this restaurant, friendly staff and owner is awesome, he's got a great attitude and very attentive to his customers along with his staff. When I first moved to Buckeye, and when this restaurant was in original location, it was excellent. Unfortunately the new location and the staff running it have turned this into what I would have to say was the nastiest experience and the worst food I have ever eaten in Arizona, the hamburger I had looked like it's been cooked three days ago. Three people was almost $60 for hamburgers I could've had a better burger with Gaines dog burgers, I highly suggest you stay away from this restaurant it's not just nasty inside. The food is absolutely horrible and it gives me no joy in saying this. I hope they read this to turn this place around because it could be so good and I want Buckeye to have a good restaurants but this is not one of them so please please please hire someone to run this restaurant because it is not being run as it should and the food is horrible and they need restaurant impossible more than any restaurant I've ever seen. read more

Sorry to say the last three times I have been there the breakfast was not any good. I think they are slipping badly I can not refer this place to anyone anymore I think they are catering to Hickman eggs to much and not the customers in the dinning room. Something must be keeping them open it can't be the food they serve that's too bad because it was good at one time. I stopped going for a while hoping it would get better but it has not. Later that day got very sick spent some time on the toilet. now I'm sure I won't be going anymore. read more

Yummy food. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Was pleasantly surprised that they serve breakfast all day long. The decor is a little dated, but the service and the food make up for it. This was our first time here and we will be back with our girls. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my hubby had the Huevos Divorciados. I sampled both and they were both great. I also liked how they brought out chips and salsa before we even ordered. Just a cautionary notice the salsa has some heat to it. We finished off our visit with ordering some churros to go. So glad we found this local restaurant in Buckeye, we will be back. read more

We used to love this restaurant but the last couple of times we have visited; the place has smelled and looked dirty. Our dishes tasted like they were fried in the same oil as fish, which we don't enjoy since we are not big seafood people. The service is still great and prices are very reasonable. read more

This place is amazing from our server Valeria to the delicious food. With Friday night being busy we were taken care of quick. Salsa and chips crispy and flavorful.my son had the carne asada tacos rice and beans and he's very picky eater and he loved them. I ordered the pork Green Chile rice and beans and it was amazing fresh and very tasty too!!!!!! I can't wait to try breakfast at this place is about a half hour drive but worth it. up. read more

Rarely do I give a partial rating. Usually it is 5 stars or 1 star. I had very high hopes for this location. Especially after it was drummed up on local social media. The owners looked very nice and inviting. Who wouldn't want a great local cafe they can frequent that's right down the street? Unfortunately for them, they missed the mark in service. Yes everything was served well but not with a positive and upbeat disposition. Rather it was more like I was a nuisance. Food was run of the mill and overpriced. At the end of my meal I found my coffee cup had a nice stained ring in it. Will not be returning. Try the place across the street. read more

I love this place. It's a great addition to downtown Buckeye. The food selection is plentiful and everything is cooked to perfection. The owners and staff are young and they innovative when developing ideas that start with traditional Mexican then build something new and delicious. Everyone who works there creates a welcoming atmosphere. They go out of their way to accommodate my wheelchair and couldn't be more helpful. The service is horrible. You sit at a table and you don't get acknowledge because their busy with other things and try to ignore that you've been sitting there for 15 min. Their Friday lunch special, fry bread is soft. tasty and topped with homemade refried beans, lettuce , cheese and tomato. Additional toppings are optional. I think the salsa needs a little work (prefer much hotter) but definitely priced at a bargain not sure if its offered on their daily menu. Will come again. See read more

Like getting what you didn't expect?! Neither do I... This place is almost like a slap in the face to any appreciators of Mexican food. I haven't tried their burgers or anything, but I don't plan on it. I went here with two other family members for lunch, and I didn't expect much. I thought it would be comparable to Ramiro's or some other generic fast Mexican food, but man was I wrong. After receiving my carne asada burrito, I realized once biting into it that it was mostly beans and rice. Cheap beans and rice. There was hardly any meat. So I thought, maybe it'll get better as I go down- it didn't. I expect a lot of good meat when I order a carne asada burrito, but it wasn't there. My two other family members had beef tacos and chile verde enchiladas. The sauce on the enchiladas definitely tasted like it was from a can. Actually, a lot of this food tasted like it was from a can, and I found this embarrassing. I felt like this because Buckeye deserves better food than this. I grew up here, I know what great, good, mediocre and abysmal Mexican food tastes like and I felt like I was being fooled into paying for this crap. I'm never going here again. read more

We tried this place for the first time yesterday & was greeted with a smile & our drink order was taken right away by the old man! I had the chilequila breakfast & it was amazing! My husband had the menudo & he has now found his Sunday spot! We love to support local businesses & we were very happy we tried this place. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu. Excellent food/ we had the Mexican enchiladas and huevos rancheros. The hue is had an orange chilie sauce with peppers and onions in it that was awesome. The home made tortillas are thin and large and, of course, awesome! Plus we both ate for $16. Highly recommend. Has a small town atmosphere. Was our fist time here, we ordered to go, I got the breakfast burrito (bacon, add sausage) wife got the chilaquiles both were awesome!! We have been in buckeye for 5 months now and have not found a good Mexican restaurant. This is it! We are definitely looking forward to trying this place again. Side note, the place seemed very clean, and the people seemed friendly. Wow,ate here a couple years ago during the Buckeye festival and came back again to experience same delicious lunch. Even sat at the same booth as that was the only one available, kind of ironic! The menudo was absolutely the best! My husband's burrito was delicious too. Work has me living in Buckeye for a few months and always looking for a place to eat that has great food, service, and moderate prices. Ranchero's Rodeo is the place to eat from breakfast (American or Mexican), lunch, and dinner. I've never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and not greasy. All homemade. Their caldo is the best from Menudo, Caldo De Rez, and Albondiga. Service has always been awesome. Cindy I believe is the person running the restaurant, seems like she is always here to make sure every person that comes is treated as their best client they have. It is sad when you go to a Mexican restaurant and because of the lack of choices you have to order a hamburger. i ordered the spanish burger which is a green chile burger. i asked for jalapenos on top of it also and got just jalapenos on it. no flavor at all the service was fine the server did good but all in all the food just was not all that. its hard for me to say this but id rather eat at taco bell. anyone who gives this place a good review has to be a personal friend of the owners read more

The worse service. Visited last Sunday 2-24-19. Walked in plenty of tables and 4 servers. We were ignored for 15 minutes. They always mess up our orders and after 4 visits I'm done. They admitted they weren't serving us as they should. Blamed it on the crowd. They have no trouble hugging the good old cowboy regulars while ignoring new patrons. I guess they don't need my money.
