Friendly service and good food with locals lined up when I arrived today! We got a dozen of mixed tamales 8 birria cheese tacos for to go and omg was everything hot and fresh. The guy at the cashier was working hard, cleaning tables, dropping off orders and ringing ppl up. He offered me a seat as I stood and waited for my food. I noticed they have an extensive menu with snacks, desserts, fruits, alongside some authentic Mexican entrees. Don't forget to pack some of their red and green salsa before you go! All I have to say is I can't get enough of their tacos. The tripas are crispy the carnitas are juicy and it comes with grilled onions and a grilled Chile. The Chile sauce is self serve and they offer red hot and green medium. My wife loves the carne asada burrito which comes with fresh chips. So far the best Mexican I have found and it's hard to find good Mexican in Washington. read more

This is a carniceria review. I didn't hit up the market and I didn't get tacos...but, based on the butchery I'll be back very soon for tacos and probably more. You know how you drive by some places dozens of times and never follow up on your good intentions to check them out when you get a chance? I'm about 3 years overdue to get in here, and I finally did it. Saturday we needed some chorizo for a seafood paella we were making for a dinner party (happy birthday to my buddy Andy). Earlier in the day I was actually much closer to a Mexican butcher I've already visited and love, but I knew I'd be coming through south Everett as the day went on, and it's corny how late I am trying this place. It's a little strip mall on the corner of two very busy 5-lane roads. The building's a bit timeworn at this point but it's clean and safe. You walk in and they have merchandised every square inch of the place, if not every cubic inch. There are fresh cactus paddles stacked up on one side of the door, and a cooler full of tamales on the other side. Tons of produce and specialty items you can't get at a lot of supermarkets. Farther back you get tons of packaged stuff, and coolers full of Mexican beer. Then against the two back walls, once you zigzag through all the narrow aisles, you find the long L-shaped butcher case. All kinds of skirt steak, flank steak, cut steaks, and pre-seasoned meats. Different kinds of chorizo. Basically if you want to make many different Mexican dishes and you need the meat ready to go before you start, they can probably help you. I was a low-maintenance shopper Saturday: 2 pounds of fresh cased chorizo was enough for me. I was out the door $10 later. The meat was so good we served some of it on its own as an appetizer before the paella was even ready. On my way out of the shop, I could smell taco meat cooking somewhere, and immediately wished I could stay for a plate. I will be back here often. read more

An okay market: pretty small, theres music playing loudly outside, and sometimes there's sketchy people in the parking lot. I waited for a bit at the counter and there was nobody else in the store but I visited the market specifically for pan dulce and found lots of good choices here, but the bread was just okay. Conchas, the softest muffins, frosted breads with sprinkles. I probably got about 8 breads and it came out to under $15. Pretty good price considering I got some giant options but again just okay bread. I wouldn't make this my main market but it's got all the essentials. read more

Tacos al pastor with some onion, cilantro, grilled pineapple and grilled onions. Radishes and limes on the side. Just wonderful! Don't expect a full menu after 6 when the tacos start because it takes their whole kitchen to keep up with the tacos.. but seriously who needs anything else when you have tacos? ..and these tacos are amazing! read more

Everything is good, except when is time to pay, if the older guy with cowboy hat is there, watch out, because he will charge you guessing prices and believe me, he ain't losing a nickel, he will rip you off left and right, I hate when people play smart ass, I don't waist my time arguing with thiefs any more, I just avoid that place unless is extremely necessary!!! Oh and if you complain he will get pissed at you!. read more

a true hole in the wall inside the Rancho Grande mercado and carniceria. the clientele are 98% latino. the food is not dumbed down. birria is served every day. the tacos are substantial. after my meal, i wander into the carniceria and buy a big fat chicarone to take home for a late night snack. read more

Hole in the wall street taco place, with an outdoor taco stand setup on the weekends open til 1am (is what I've heard), complete with adobada tacos al pastor. They even have suadero! All delish but the carne asada was surprisingly disappointing. They also have a variety of red and green salsas. They take cash but also can run your credit card inside the store. $12 for 8 street tacos, what a deal! I'll be back. read more

If you come in here looking for an authentic Mexican market and restaurant, you are going to be pleasantly surprised. This place is definitely authentic and has all the things you would want in a Mexican grocery. The Carniceria had the thin cuts of meat, the grocery had brands you would see in Mexico and the restaurant had tasty tacos! I will be back. read more

Didn't want to leave a bad review but I just came in today for lunch to grab some tacos, I ordered 2 asada and 2 carnitas that's it. Ate all 4 tacos and 3 hours later in the day I just felt so gross, started to feel weird and I ended up throwing up all the 4 tacos at work! First meal of the day by the way and all I can say now is NEVER again! Be careful eating here, I was gonna let it slide but this isn't cool at all. You guys need to be more sanitary because you guys are not serving quality food, that meat was BAD 100 percent BAD! Would rate no stars if I could, I hope you guys take this post into consideration for the people you are feeding. read more

I love this place. Their meats are all fresh and yummm. We've tried out the various cuts of beef and pork. The pork chops are amazingly yum. The steaks when bbq'd are soo darn moist with their house marinade. I also particularly love their tamales and salsa. read more

I'll start by saying my hopes where high. The staff was kind and helpful and the selection of traditional Hispanic ingredients and specialty products was great. My issue....ANTS small baby ANTS inside and outside the packaging on nearly every product even inside the bags in the delicious looking house made "fresh" crackling and pork rinds I could Not wait to get home and try. I don't know how this could go un-noticed in a business. But something needs to be done to clean it up. read more

Kinda pissed! I ordered the Huaraches with beef cheek, I was so excited, I don't get the opportunity to order cheek very often. The meat in my dish was not cheek! I asked the lady if it was, she lied to my face two or three times, she said it was cheek, then said it was the same as in the Biria, she is an idiot, Biria doesn't come with cheek! Still pissed! I am very fond of this store. I have been coming here for the past five years and I will continue to be a loyal customer. I come here for their wide selection of fresh, Mexican Sweet Bread and a variety of authentic cheeses (Queso de Oaxaca, Queso Fresco, Cotija, etc.) I ordered my daughter's birthday cake here this year and was pleased with my purchase; I have high expectations for Tres-Leches Cake. What I value most from any service provider is the service they provide - customer service is five star here. We ordered lunch to go. The food took a few minutes to prepare, but it was fresh and delicious. My friend got the chicken enchilada plate with red sauce. I ordered a chicken torta and chips and salsa. The torta was huge. I couldn't even finish half of it in one sitting. Chips and salsa were pretty good. Actually, the chips were awesome and the salsa was just ok. I might try pico or something else with the chips next time. I would definitely come back. read more

This tienda is well stocked with a host of Mexican canned goods, produce and other items. I went for the butcher shop. They have very, very good pre-marinated pork adovada for less than $3 a pound! Chorizos, Mexican hams, and carne asada was also in the counter but I have not tried them...yet. The pork is of very high quality! read more

For a Tacqueria and grocery store, this is as good as it gets as far as I am concerned. The staff is so uber - yes I said UBER friendly it's comfortable. Authentic, tasty, delicious. Best horchata around and cozy. Then afterwards go to the grocery store, pick up some hispanic pastries, warm them up for breakfast and the meal is complete. They only serve beer, but who needs anything else when you have smiles from the staff and other customers laughing about. read more

This is one of the best restaurants the food is amazing real authentic flavors you won't be disappointed. Food is always served quick and fresh. The tacos de lengua(beef tongue) are to die for. Been coming here since they opened many years ago. Never complained until we bought a pair of earrings from here for my baby niece . They said it was gold , should have known better. When we got them they where broken. .We went back to the store but they said no we had already left the store. When we went to complain to the owner he told us to go to Fred Meyer to fix them for $10. -_- this came from the owner. So he knows that Fred Meyer will fix it meaning he knows it happens . When we asked for exchange or reimbursement he boldly said no because that would mean he would loose money . And he will not be out $60. $60 is what I would usually spend on one trip to his store as his stuff can be overpriced. Not only am I not shopping here anymore but so will the rest of my family . This man is greedy and can careless for his customers .Don't shop here. Take the extra 5 min drive to Casino rd . read more

In addition to making a jerky that friends and family love, I have purchased jerky from about every possible website, and local butcher, so when I tell you I know quality jerky, I am certified. I passed this place last summer on my way to a concert at Remlinger Farms. I said I would double back and today was that day. Small shop, but enough space to have a reasonable selection of meats. I was extremely impressed with their exotic meats. Can't say I'd be a customer for ground rabbit, but I do know people that love to make pet food or snacks from exotic offerings. Being a fan of heat, I checked for hot links and spicy smoked offerings, but the selection there was limited. I think I saw about 6 people behind the counter. And besides myself there was one customer who was being helped. For some reason I was ignored for a few minutes, but once I made eye contact with someone it because clear, ignoring me was no longer an option. Once served, I have to say the service improved. The main person I spoke with might have been an owner, if not, he had to be a manger. He provided me with sample of the jerky's and pepperoni. I tried the Colorado and Spicy Jerky. The spicy jerky had a tiny kick, not nearly as much as advertised, but I didn't dig the flavor. The Colorado, which was just a standard smoked jerky was the winner. It was salty and savory and reminded of the jerky that Hickory Farms used to sell in store. Not the bagged retail stuff, they used to have a large jar with smoked jerky for sale. It reminded me of another favorite. There is a place in Shelton called Home Meat Service, that has a jerky that is well worth the drive. The pepperoni, was a little dry, lacked snap and salt, but still had promise. I got Jerky, pepperoni and Hot Italian Sausage. I cooked the sausage for breakfast, it was ok, but nothing special. This could have been a 5-star experience, but the slow recognition really bothered me. I don't believe that would have been the case had I looked more like the common customer. I read the reviews before coning here and several spoke about the warm welcome they got, so again it's clear to me, when comfortable, they treat customers like family.

The staff were nice, but the guy who seemed to be the boss was more into answering phone calls. Word has it locally that these guys offer good specials from time to time. Bottom line, if you're local, this place can help supplement your grocery shopping. It's a long drive to pay roughly the same prices I already pay at the butcher's, and with not much Prime to choose from, it really comes down to processing a whole/half animal to get the most out of this place.

Their stock is either a nicer version or it's something that's unavailable elsewhere. You do pay for quality like this on some of the stuff, but if you're cooking a meal you're really looking forward to, the value makes it reasonable. Not everything is expensive, either. They had fresh lemons on the case for 40% less than the supermarket up the street. They had reds, whites, bubblies, and pinks in the wine section with every bottle under $20. And those fish dips, man. I'm surprised they don't sell out by afternoon every day. We had wild salmon and black cod dips before dinner last night, and both were fantastic. They're very well balanced, so maybe you could add hot sauce or fresh herbs to taste, but we've had them several times and never felt compelled to tune them up.
