I have been with Dr Nassr for well over 10 years now and have always received excellent dental care from her and her staff. Recently I broke a tooth and it was very questionable if it could be saved but her expertise managed to save part of the tooth so that I could have a crown instead of having to remove the entire tooth leaving me with the option of an implant. There are many dentists out there who would have rather pulled the entire tooth out and put an implant thus pocketing more money for themselves. There are so many horror stories out there of this happening. I prefer her method of saving the tooth first before resorting to other measures. Her office is not luxurious. It's very simple BUT the more important factor here is a GREAT dentist. read more

I went to Dr. Nasr on the recommendation of my mother in law. I had not been to the dentist in 6 years! I know terrible. Needless to say I was super nervous going in. Sherry in the front was so welcoming and made me feel super comfortable. Sonya did my x rays and was really patient with me. Dr. Nasr came in and explained everything I needed (1 root canal, 3 fillings and a deep clean). She was very kind and really made sure I understood what needed to happen. They found an appointment for me 2 days later to do the root canal and half of the deep cleaning. I was super scared going in but it was quick and painless. The whole office is fantastic. Very clean! Just all around great experience! I also need to add I brought my 3 year old daughter for her first appointment and she LOVED them. She keeps asking to go back. She sat with Sonya first who did a cleaning and x rays. She made sure to explain what she was doing before she did it to my daughter. Then the Dr came in and preformed an exam. After the whole appointment they even let my daughter pick a toy for sitting so well. They really are fantastic and I could not thank them enough for giving her such a great experience. Edit July 16: Since my last review I went in to the office twice for a tooth cleaning and a minor treatment - replacing two old fillings. My experience: - Very nice dental hygienist attempted to make personal conversation the entire cleaning, felt very awkward as I didn't know how to answer her questions with tools in my mouth. - Cleaning was done by hand only; I requested a run with the tool that squirts water between the teeth as I've been accustomed to it with my previous hygienists. She said she typically did not do it, I then understood why: use was so clumsy that my gums were scortched by the tool, I was drooling everywhere and felt close to choking the entire time as suction was not placed in my mouth, I had to request it continuously. - My gums felt completely raw and bruised following the cleaning. Not fun. Fillings: - Dr. started the treatment by holding the novocaine syringe right in front of my face as she was asking her assistance to get the medicine from another room - sure way to get a patient sweating. I'm not necessarily a fan of dental visits but I will say that just 3 weeks prior I underwent dental surgery with 8 shots drilling through my jawbone w/ another dentist and 3 assistants who made what could have been a potentially traumatizing experience feel like a spa treatment. Here, the treatment didn't begin and I already felt extremely uneasy. The shots were painful, no easing-in technique like other dentists. - The rest of the time could only be described like it was chaos in my mouth. Water flying everywhere, tools thrushing about and hitting the sides of my face, and fingers digging and tugging on my lips. Hands of the dr. or her assistant were far from gentle. - Suction was not offered often enough. I asked for tissue to absorb the saliva and water and was handed a cardboard-like brown paper towel type that is usually used to clean restrooms. I soaked through it within a few minutes and again asked for a tissue, again handed the the brown towel and felt like I had to beg for something softer/more hygienic. - Was glad when treatment was finally over. When the novocaine wore off, I was in a lot of pain. Days went by and the fillings felt so painful I couldn't eat on that side. Thinking the area was still recovering, I went a week until contacting the office and was invited to have the fillings checked. - Came in for the check; dr. started the conversation by letting me know I'm in pain because I didn't bite properly at the end of the last treatment as a mark for her to smooth them out. I explained that the pain came when chewing on food and drank cold/hot drinks. We went through the biting on a blue paper and adjusting the bite a few times and she kept asking if there was pain. I'm not sure how the pain trigger from biting on a piece of paper vs. a piece of meat is comparable but when I reported there was still pain, she offered to put a desensitizing medicine on it... But I thought I came to fix the filling - I had no pain on that side before the treatment, it was old mercury fillings that were replaced to white ones due to her recommendation, but now I had pain. - When I questioned about the cream vs. actually fixing the filling that seemed to be off dr. seemed to get very defensive, explaining and reexplaining, and then asked me why I am so afraid? Interesting question, as I did not feel any fear and was hoping to get my teeth to their previous pain-free state. But the more I thought about it, the more fearful I got. The scenario reminded me of people that tell you "trust me" and how to me they always were the ones that elicited the least trust. There was a big miscommunication and I wasn't sure what else I had to say to let her know that my fillings still hurt and that I didn't come in to get a temporary relief from topical cream. - She asked me to let her know if there is pain later - why? I'm in pain now. - Driving home I looked in the mirror; the side of my mouth and teeth were dark blue from the ink paper. Rinsing wasn't offered. - Shelly was always super nice. Original review: I can't believe this top-notch office works with my HMO. We relocated from Santa Monica and I needed a new dentist and hygienist after my pregnancy did a number on my teeth. Most of the dental practices around Chino that covered by my insurance had negative reviews. This facility was probably one of the nicer dental offices I have been to - very clean and I love that every room has a door for privacy! Dr. Nasr gave me the most thorough dental exam I have ever had, took time to explain what needed to be done and why, and built a treatment plan that seemed reasonable and doable without recommending unnecessary treatments - a trait that many HMO dentists seem to usually have in order to increase profit. Shelly at the front desk was super helpful with my insurance and in general the energy at this office was very personable by all staff. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment! read more

At my first visit here I right away felt comfortable. The staff is so friendly and kind. Dr. Nasr was kind and patient even though I asked a million questions. She took her time with me fully explaining the work I needed done. About a week after I saw her my husband had a crown fall out of his mouth. He was able to get into see Dr. Nasr right away. Now my husband never goes to the dentist and has seriously disliked every dentist he has been to. But after his visit with Dr. Nasr he was still smiling. First of all I just want to say Dr. Nasr is AHMAZING! She calmed my anxiety down and made me feel worry free and kept asking me during my dental work if I was okay. If any one suffers from anxiety I highly suggest you come see her she is very gentle and is more concern about your overall well being vs the costs of your work. horrible,she took over for Dr. Jenkins who we loved.. she did work on me that wasn't needed and had to 2 crowns,then had to be replaced back with Gold she talked me out of.. my son had Invisaligns thru her and on one occasion she mad one set that never fit,the wouldnt stay in and she is charging 160 dollars ,Ive tried telling her secretary to no avail.. now sent to collections.. also referred my neighbor girl Courtney Martinez ,she cracked her good toothe in the back of here mouth and she had to go to different dentist to fix correctly..would never refer anyone to this place ,beware !!! read more
