I did a pickup order roast, beef, salad and tarama sue. It was ready within 20 minutes. The food was pretty good.

The red gravy is bitter and the service is horrible. It's like a child's pizza place.

Looking for a brunch spot while in NO and this place popped up. I knew I wanted to come here after…read moreseeing the bread pudding pancakes! Overall, the food just looked really delicious. So the pancakes were amazing! Definitely on the sweet side so you don't need syrup. It also has a sweet/savory whiskey sauce. Soo delicious! I added whipped cream on the side at no extra cost. I highly recommend this if you need a pancake/bread pudding fix! Host and server were both super nice a bubbly. Our server also gave us a suggestion for another great spot for bread pudding. Ambiance is nice and casual, not too busy for a Saturday morning. Parking is kinda tight though, but the host mentioned there was also parking available across the street. Nice breakfast/brunch find!

They would not exchange or comp the other two. The service was terrible. It was a long time in between seating, drinks and food for server. She had an attitude. When I mentioned the noise, she dismissed it and said it was always loud. She said the manager would not allow substitutions for the terrible two of the flight. The servers started moving chairs. They drug the chairs across the floor rather than picking them up. It was very loud and disruptive. The atmosphere was as unimpressive as the service and the food. The floors were not clean. They had food and debris all over. The restaurant was not busy. No one swept the hour we were there. Now the food. The food arrived and we had to ask for utensils. My friend asked for butter for grits, which never came. The potatoes had no flavor aside from fried in old grease taste. The cheese & spinach omelet was passable. Again, no flavor. I do not recommend this location at all. Prepare to wait and be disappointed. Choose another location. Metairie Rd. worth a pass. Parking also very limited.

Our server, Christopher, was very attentive, suggested wine pairings, and gave us great recommendations. We started with the charbroiled oysters which is a must. They were large and charred to perfection on the outside grill, topped with parm and breadcrumbs. My friends ordered the filet and the gulf fish, and I had the charred cabbage entree, with a French gerwurztraminer blend. The mushrooms with the blue cheese sauce were so rich and delicious! Sweet treats were a no brainer. The blue cheese flan was creamy and decadent. A perfect ending to the meal. This is so far my fave restaurant in New Orleans. It's an honest, no BS creole inspired cuisine. 100% coming back soon!

And yet again, I am so thankful for Yelp steering me in the right direction yet again! A short Uber from the French Quarter brought us to what I believe is such a special hidden gem! The moment you step into Atchafalaya, you realize it. Ambience is amazing, quirky, cool, homey and cozy. Staff is amazing. We sat in our own private room and were treated to a very special delight of a dinner. I tried the incredible fried green tomatoes, the seafood soup (?) and the incredible steak...wow, everything was amazing. And not only did Chef Christopher Lynch come out to say hello to my Autistic son but the owner Tony Tocco did as well and it made his day! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I went after 8 so it was nice and quiet in the restaurant. The Potato gallettes are crispy on the outside and are good with breakfast or lunch. The almond pastry was nice and soft. The almonds add nice texture. I was only supposed to eat half but I ate the whole thing. The chocolate croissants were just not for me. I love chocolate and I love croissants but together, it wasn't my thing. No stars off for that because it's a matter of preference. The ham and cheese Danish had crispy parmesan on the outside. I was really good and could be for breakfast and lunch. I visit here often. The Potato soup is delicious. I love the pesto chicken pasta, and I would tell you guys about this amazing cookie that they have BUT, they already sell out too quickly. I don't need any more competition.
