Great pizza! I'm a native New Yorker so I don't order pizza. But while I was visiting my family, they recommended this spot. It was enough to buy a ton of food and feed all the kids and adults. We order take out at least 1-2 times a week. We like their variety of pizza sizes. We each get our own 12-14" and add our own toppings. On DoorDash it doesn't allow for 1/2 pizza pepperoni and 1/2 cheese. I wish they would change that. Otherwise best pizza around!!!! read more

Probably the customers who get pineapple on their pizza WTF do they know I was here over the holidays in 2022 and discovered Randy's Pizza and I could not believe how similar to New Jersey /New York style pizza they have. Back for another visit and I could not wait to get a good pie visiting from cali but from Nj originally. Yes I know sometimes the wait can be long as I did have to cancel an order over the holidays because I didn't 2 1/2 hours to wait but that's just because the food and quality are so high that everybody wants it . I suppose it's their style but the crust is too thin for me. I got a small (14") supreme which is pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and onion and I could not pick up a slice easily without the tip flopping over. The taste was ok but it was challenging to pick up and ultimately more messy than it should have been. This is a big issue on a specialty pizza and I have to wonder if they've ever consumed their own product. I suppose this is "New York style" but I'm not a fan. read more

We placed our order online and ordered 2 side garden salads and a 16" Supreme pizza with green peppers instead of mushrooms. It was all so good. Be prepared wait since they just opened, the staff members were calm and were getting those orders out at the estimated time. It was a 1.5 hour wait for us. read more

This is my first time coming here, and a mistake was made on my end with the ordering system on a busy Friday night. The employees were very accommodating with helping explain the issue because I had never seen a problem like this before. After many efforts to try and fix it on my end, the employees including Brittany and (I believe) the manager were extremely generous in giving me the order despite the mistakes. I'll preface this review by saying I've been going to the Davis Drive location for years and love their service and food. The Holly Springs location also has good food minus the wings as they are gawd awful and a rip off (20 wings $33). Now this location has been open for a while now so has had plenty of time to work out the kinks. I've ordered from this location probably 5-6 times and always do takeout (usually thru internet app). I've experienced undercooked pizza, undercooked Stromboli, a sub that probably sat around waiting for my pizza for an hour (was a Saturday and they had hour backup). Today may have been the final straw for me. Had a free cheese pizza offer thru the app. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, Stromboli, and side of garlic knots around 4:45. Paid online and left 20% tip. Order was supposed to take 30 minutes and be easy at 5:13 for pickup. Arrived at store around 5:08 and pizza guy said probably about 10 more minutes. No big deal. My order appear to be ready around 5:30 but nobody calls my name. Young kid at counter was overwhelmed between call ins, internet orders, and people coming in. I stood trying to get anyone's attention. Nothing. Finally almost 10 min later he is like Shawn your food is ready. The sad thing is the food was all good but service stinks. No idea why I continue ripping them for pickup that they will most likely screw up. No sorry or thanks just the name. Might be time to start going to J&S in FV or trying Johnnys. Well shit man! We was wanting pizza really badly and who else has a better pizza than Randy's! We stay out of town and I have been a long time customer and I know for a fact they never let ya down. I told my daughter to call ahead because we were about 20 minutes away. She called and they put on hold right off the bat, we didn't think much of it until... we waited for almost thirty minutes! We actually showed up at the joint still on hold! I told the girl behind the register and she just plain forgot about us! Like.. it's really no big deal? So now we have to wait another 20 minutes for our food! No telling how many other orders went ahead of us! I'm really pissed! No way this is excepted in any other place! Okay-ish food, bad customer service. I placed an order (online) for a cheese pizza, a few sides of marinara sauce and garlic knots to be delivered on a weekday night. The pizza arrived quickly. The pizza sauce was very good and I think the pizza would have been good overall if it hadn't been so underdone. The garlic knots made me wish I could turn my body inside out and wash it with whatever soap they use to get petroleum off of baby birds after oil spills. The extra sides of sauce didn't make it to our house with the rest of the order. When I called Randy's I had this funny little exchange: Randy's guy: We can give you 25% off of your next order Me: No thanks. Could you just refund it or bring it out to me. Either is fine. Randy's guy: Okay. We'll do one of those. Me: Thank you. Which one? Randy's guy: Run it out. CLICK! This guy just hung up on me. I'd almost admire his apathy but I'm too peeved over paying for a bad pizza to be 100% amused. Anyway, I don't recommend this establishment. I will not be ordering from there again. I ate .at Randy's on their opening day and was so pleased they located nearby because the pizza was so good. On a couple of subsequent visits I found their pizza didn't measure up to that opening day. The pizza was thin on one side and thicker on the other and was not cooked all the way through. I didn't return due to the inconsistency of the pizza for the premium price they charge. So after not frequenting this place for a couple of years we decided to give it a try today because my wife wanted pizza for Mother's Day. Unfortunately the pizza had not gotten better. I was shocked at the amount of or lack of cheese it had. One has to be skilled to make a pizza look appetizing while at the same time barely using cheese. I have never had a pizza with so little cheese. I met Randy and appreciate his story having learned the trade in Miami. Unfortunately his pizza falls way short of what I expected. So I tried them here in Holly Springs when they first opened and well, they were nothing like the Randy's Pizza in Durham on Miami. I was really disappointed and didn't come back for months (a year??) I tried them again recently in Nov 2023 and what a big difference. The restaurant was spotless, but even more important than some crumbs, etc. the pizza is back to being RANDY'S PIZZA! BIG NY, floppy, paper thin, slices! The tomato sauce has some bite (leans towards tomato paste flavor) and the cheese is just the right quantity. I'm not sure what happened when they first opened but they are much better now. This was the prior location of NY Pizza. I've dined at a couple of other Randys pizza locations and loved their food so I was psyched. When I found out they were opening a new location in Holly Springs. I will say that this restaurant has only been open less than a week so perhaps they are still figuring out how much to get when it comes to ingredients, staffing, timing, etc. that said, I would expect a simple call from the restaurant to let me know they've run out of particular ingredient or ingredients and ask me if I'd like to get something different. Not only were ingredients missing (ricotta on pizza and tomatoes/cucumbers from the salad), but from what was there, the ingredients were very sparse. The crust and pizza itself were cooked very well but It's hard to tell with the pizza if it's fair or good because it's missing pizza sauce and ricotta. The salad was average to subpar given how little it is and lack of ingredients plus missing ingredients. I'll definitely try it again after it's been open for awhile but, I'm still annoyed with the restaurant service - either they made the items completely wrong or they knew they didn't have the ingredients and didn't bother to call. I went to the Raleigh location when we moved down from LI and thought it was great. I was excited about this location opening up right near where I live. I was a little disappointed, to be honest. The Grandmas had very good flavor but it was smaller and more expensive than Vieni and Cristos Bistro and comparable at best. The NY style was a little chewy, it was ok but also priced higher than other pies in the area. I might try it again in a few months and see if some of the new restaurant kinks work out. As of now, there are significantly better pizzas in Holly Springs. read more

If they tell you an hour, I'd go up there 30 minutes early so your pizza isn't sitting there waiting. That being said, the meatball sub is freaking amazing. Went there on a Friday night...as expected it was very busy....they need to get another register ...one for pick ups and one for new orders ...The people there really work hard and do everything they can to get people their order..... As for the Pizza ....the cheese and crust were spot on for NYC style...my only criticism is the sauce has an odd taste...I can't put my finger on it...my guess is that it's over seasoned....I think they need to get a more neutral sauce and let the cheese, crust, and toppings be the star of the show read more

The first time I went to Randy's, I actually wasn't all that hungry but my boyfriend was, so I just got an order of garlic knots and they were awesome. We went back again last week and boy was it a disappointment. They were super busy, so I think that was the issue. We ordered fairly quickly but it took forever to get our food. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and a side order of 3 garlic knots. My boyfriend got a calzone. We got the pizza way before the calzone came out. The pizza was very bland and super greasy. He enjoyed his calzone when it did finally come out. However, here is why Randy's gets a 2 in my book. I never got my garlic knots. I paid for them, but the line was backed up to the door when we were leaving and it seemed a bit chaotic, so in my mind at the time, not worth standing there for my $3-4 back. I didn't want the garlic knots at that point, I was stuffed from the bland and greasy pizza. So, will I go back? Probably not any time soon. If you want mediocre pizza- then I'd recommend Randy's, otherwise, there are lots of other pizza places around that are just as good if not better. read more

First time visit on a Friday evening at 515pm. Pizza was delicious. Not greasy and big slices. We were told we had to order by the slice because the wait for a full pizza for dine-in was 90min. I feel that dine-in orders should be prioritized or they need to better plan for patrons who dine in-restaurant, but oh well. The salad I definitely wouldn't order again. It was plain iceberg lettuce (zero nutritional value and cheap) and very underwhelming. For the price, I would like to see some dark greens in my salad. We will give it another shot for pizza and maybe give the subs a try sometime. read more
