This is THE Donut shop! Those donuts are REAL DONUTS! They have substance and are filled to match the donut! Nice selection, friendly staff! We always use the drive thru and then have a car picnic! Definitely go here if you have not! We stumbled into this place and we have had a few of them but my favorite is the butter crumb raised! It is so tasted and flavorful. We waited a bit for the hype and long lines to die down before trying Randy's. This famous LA establishment has opened its first location in Vegas. They are open 24 hours a day, but once I tried to visit they were closed as apparently they had run out of everything. The evening we visited there was no line at all, and we tried the drive though. They have a large digital menu board with photos of all the donuts which come in three different tiers from basic to premium. We tried the mixed dozen while allows a few selections from each tier for a little over $20. They had pretty much everything we wanted available. I think only one was sold out. They have a great variety from basic classics to unique offerings like matcha and red velvet. Overall the donuts (and cinnamon roll) were very good. The blueberry cake was my favorite. Well, I knew it would eventually happen. Las Vegas has a Randy's Donuts now. I had a chance to try this location. They have the same good donuts. I got me a Apple Fritter to start with some milk. Worth it. When Randy's donuts made it's debut here, I was like why is there so much hype? What is the difference between this donut shop than the others around town? Never knew the answer until recently. After hearing they were opening their third location in Summerlin and plan to open four more, totaling seven locations in the Las Vegas valley. I'm like okay I need to try them out to see for myself. We went on a Saturday morning, around 8am and they had PLENTY of freshly baked donuts. People complaining of it being "stale" or not getting the chance to try other flavors are the ones coming in the evening or late hours and expect out the oven. Seriously? Don't give businesses an unfair review for selling out. How about try harder. FACT: if you want first dibs on flavors and freshness, the best time to grab donuts is early morning. Periodt. When I saw that the famous Randy's Donuts from Los Angeles had another location on the Ninth (Hawaiian) Island (Las Vegas), I had to go and show my mom and sister! GPS led us to the free parking lot. Inside, there were SO MANY different donuts! All kinds of shapes, colors, and flavors! Note: next to the wall mural was a convenient restroom! The workers were cheerful and efficient! I asked one gal how she was able to work in "donut heaven". She said that it was challenging in the beginning, but now she's used to the fragrance and temptation... LOL! We took our loot back to our hotel room and had the donuts for breakfast. They're so airy and light! They just melt in the mouth! For those looking for a 24/7 Donut shop you can visit this one. I was greeted by Arturo. He was amazing and friendly.. They have a donut special for this month but they didn't have it available. It was a donut dusted with apple crumble. I really wanted to try it , oh well but I tried other donuts and their ham and cheese croissant instead. I had been to the one in Inglewood location I am I'm not sure but I think the donuts here tasted better and the customer service I received from Arturo is something that you would want to go back to this location. Randy's donuts has changed my life. I'm serious. I've never had Randy's donuts before and I am very impressed. My favorites are the cherry iced cake donut and the non filled chocolate long John. I love that they are open 24/7. And have a drive thru! I love that the box is large enough that the dozen donuts don't have to be stacked upon each other. I love the quality, freshness and flavor of the donuts. The prices are also decent and affordable. So I finally made my way over here to see what the hoopla is all about. Yes, it's a very popular name and as "hyped" as it may be, it's still a pretty solid spot for donuts. We were here Wednesday night past 10pm. I knew Randy's is now 24 hours so I got nervous driving up to the parking lot seeing no workers and the trays completely empty!! Walked up to the door and the sign said the drive-thru is 24 hours. Yes!! I thought to myself, 'I'm sure there's not much selection left but it's okay...we'll try whatever they got available this late into the evening.' To my surprise, there's still many, many selections to choose from. Sold out donuts will have a sticker over them on the drive thru menu. We ended up picking the following: -maple iced -seasonal flavored pumpkin spice with cream cheese frosting -glazed -blueberry iced Happily surprised once again, the donuts were still fresh. It was soft and fluffy. Here, I'm expecting a hard donut that would crumble on first bite since I was here so late. Nope! Not the case. Too bad they ran out of matcha raised and coconut raised. Literally the legend and icon of LA donuts and now it's embraced the LV culture of being 24/7 open all day every day. Came in on a weekday during lunch hours and had plenty of options to choose from. Got a dozen donuts of all types for the office and everyone loved them. Donuts were super soft as if they were just baked. Their dough is amazing and do nut tell me otherwise! The only flavor that was a miss was the matcha - I didn't taste any matcha - but it was still a good donut, and I killed it in seconds. So finally got around to trying the hype of Randy Donuts. I keep pasting the iconic Big Donut sign with Randy Donuts outside on the way to hockey. Really donut day could be everyday for me in life. Carb load. I definitely was impressed with the nice diversity in selection. It really made it tough on my first visit picking half dozen. I knew the crondy had to get from recommendation another yelper Kevin P. Matcha and Maple glazed also got one each. I finish half dozen with stable plain glazed donut. The crondy was so SO legit. It there version of cronut. I loved all the buttery flakey layers of Onolicous. It was hands down my favorite donut of the half dozen. Other dozen was solid and would order any one of them again. I like the inside from the minute walked in. It has nice open space lot of room look at all the diversity, clean, no real spot sit down inside, one wall think unique and cool see photos of the movies or television shows it been on, and the fact drive thru open 24/7 awesome. Anyone who thinks Randy's is "just another donut" really isn't fit to have an opinion on the relative quality of donuts -- there's levels. Randy's has been on our list for a few months now, but it's not that close to where we live. We found ourselves in the vicinity today and decided to make the run, in the name of research. Conclusion? Wow factor. Let me start by saying, I'm not the type who's wowed by specialty $4-5 donuts, nor am I attracted to gaudy amounts of frosting and designs ala Pinkbox. What I'm after in a donut is primarily traditional style donuts that are high quality and fresh. Not too bready, not too sweet, not too oily. All your go to's, with just enough "new" creations to keep things intriguing. Randy's checks every box, and in one word --. FRESH The donuts are pillowy soft, similar to a Krispy Kreme donut. But where KK is very thin and ultimately too sweet, Randy's stand tall and give you just the right ratio of sweetness to donut. And they're so amazingly airy! Even the cake donuts were a revelation. It's very rare for me to be so inspired by a place, that I feel the urge to write a review on the spot. But Randy's was so good, by default, every other donut place I ever reviewed should get one star removed. The standard has been raised. In case that wasn't enough... We went around 3pm on a Sunday, a time where most places are either closed, out of the kind you want or everything they have left is stale. Randy's? They're taking them fresh off the rack at 3pm. An L.A. icon has made its way to fabulous Las Vegas! I remember going to Randy's by the airport on the way to pick up my auntie and uncles flying in from HI as a kid. I also remember the donuts being huge. With that said, YES! Randy's Donuts are huge! Not only that, they're also light and fluffy and not heavy-like. I'm glad we have one here now. We found out about Randy's Brand New Las Vegas location two days after their grand opening. I have really enjoyed Randy's in Los Angeles in the past, so I was excited to check this location out. My daughter and I arrived at the store, and we were both shocked to see the drive-thru wrapped around the building, and then going 1/4 of a mile down the street. We decided to park and go inside, which ended up being a great decision. We waited in line about 15 minutes, the line was moderate, but moved pretty fast. When it was our time to order, the woman behind the counter looked overwhelmed, and didn't greet us. She simply said "next", then just stood there staring at us. I couldn't help but notice how unhappy all of the staff looked. None of them smiled, and none of them were friendly. We placed our order, then the woman moved our bag down the line towards the cashier. The cashier wasn't any nicer than the woman who helped us. She asked what we ordered then rang up our order. We only ordered 4 donuts, however, the minimum tip displayed was $4, that was a tip of $1 per donut. Geez I thought to myself... such a high tip for unfriendly service. The cashier handed me the receipt and moved on to the next customer. She didn't say "thank you for your business", or "come back again." To make matters worse, my long-john donut was so very hard and dry, I couldn't finish it. It tasted like it had been made overnight, then sat out to air dry. However, my lemon-filled donut was fresh & tasty, and my daughter enjoyed both of her donuts, so the trip wasn't a total waste. Overall, I walked away disappointed at this Randy's location. Poor service, high tips, and a hard & dry donut. I do have hopes that they will improve over time. Maybe they just have to get settled in. I might give them another try the next time I'm over on that side of Vegas again. We shall see! read more

The hype IS REAL!!!! When a worldwide institution out of Inglewood, California(with international locations in Korea, Philippines, and Saudi Arabia) sets up shop in Las Vegas, you go check it out and decide your own verdict! I've long been a fan of(and still got love for) classic donut shops- Ronald's, Real Donuts #1, Master, Donut Hut, Friendly's,etc. Even when the light is on at Krispy Kreme, so I'm not a fan of places that try way too hard and put TOO MUCH CRAP on their donuts(You know who you are!). The majority of Randy's Donut items are made using their yeast raised dough which is my favorite type of donut. The dough is soft, light, and airy, not dry, dense, and greasy. The Chocolate Devil's Food Cake Donut had a soft, delicate crumb, and the Crondy is delicious deep fried croissant without the greasiness. The line moves fast, and the display case of donuts serves as a visual of what's available, and when they start taking from the case, you know they're about to sell out of that certain item. People's orders were being filled quickly with fresh donuts off the racks. Hours are 5:30 am to SELL OUT which will continue to happen until they find their groove and increase their staff to become a 24 hour establishment. Long term goals are to have a total of 7 locations in the Vegas valley. People SWEAR that places like Pinkbox, Wicked, Coco, Donut Bar, and Carl's are the best donuts out there. I've tried them all MORE THAN ONCE and after having Randy's, I can honestly say that NONE of the aformentioned places come close in taste or texture! There's a reason they've been around since 1952 and there's a reason(aside from worker shortages) why they're selling out, so if you're one of the crybabies leaving 1-star reviews because your dumbass didn't get donuts or you think they're all hype, you can: a) Apply for a job there because they really need workers to help keep up with the donuts to meet the demand. b) Get your a$$ up early enough so you can get yourself some of the best donuts in Vegas c) Kick rocks and go to Pinkbox, Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, or Carl's or something!? I rarely get to come here but when I do I have to have that cinnamon roll. It's my absolute favorite donut. I would drive out of my way to have this instead of choosing a different donut shop. Had to take my car to Toyota in Sahara so I HAD to go here first before they sold out again. Got there at 8 and was no line inside only in the drive thru. I wanted to satisfy my eyes first so I had to go down and pick the donuts I would love to try. I bought a dozen but was already thinking who's gonna eat all that!!!! The staff were super accommodating and pleasant. Gave some extra donuts and she did ask the manager if they give military discount and it's a NO. I was super excited when I heard about this iconic donut spot from LA coming to Las Vegas. The line was so long when it first opened, but it has definitely calmed down now. I stopped by one random afternoon when I was in the area. There were only a few people inside, but it can feel cramped pretty quickly. I got a mixed dozen to try a variety of their classic, deluxe, premium, and fancy donuts. Prices are decent and range from $20-$30 per dozen, depending on the type you get. I'm the type of person who doesn't like overly sweet desserts, so I wasn't the biggest fan of these. I found that the glazes and toppings were too sweet, and the actual donut was a bit dense. My favorite was the apple fritter, and the size was huge! I'm glad I tried this place, but I don't think it'll be my ggo-todonut spot. On my first visit I went through the drive-through which was not too long of a line. I only ordered four donuts and they were two apple fritters, chocolate glazed and an old fashion. The donuts were fresh and yummy. My friend thought the apple fritter tasted just like any old apple fritter but I disagreed. My fritter was absolutely delicious and wasn't overcooked. On my second visit I ordered I filled long John and oh boy was that yummy. I also got the ham and cheese croissant which was so delicious. The flakiness of the croissant was so good. Can't wait to go back. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of the second visit because I was just too excited that they had the two things I specifically went there for. I was pretty excited to try this place. I've long heard about it but never been able to go to one. Whenever I'm traveling I enjoy checking out different donut shops and picking up their merch. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try one of their signature coffees because their coffee machine was inoperable. I also asked to purchase a hat but the only one they had left was super dusty but I had already paid for it before seeing it. So I had to give it a deep cleaning when I got home. The donuts were pretty good but the customer service wasn't that great. Was left feeling luke warm about my experience when I was looking forward to it earlier. I went here at 515am on a Saturday morning to pick up donuts for work. No line and the drive thru ran smoothly taking my order. I was in and out less than 5 minutes. I don't get on this side of town that often, so when I saw Randy's, and how famous this place is in LA, I had to flip a u turn and check them out. Service was good, they were ready to assist me as soon as I walked in. I got 2 donuts, but....The box was so big, for only 2 donuts. It took up 1/2 of my front seat of my car. Just get some bags, less waste. Ok, back to the donuts, they were really good, I can't remember the one flavor, because I like to get something kind of odd, but I got the bear claw.
