I had to hit up Krispy Kreme for National Donut Day, and wow, they did not disappoint! Despite the small line, the staff was a little slow but try to deal with the crowd. I went to try their Valentine's Day special box. I will say overall this is super cute and aesthetically pleasing. As far as the donut flavors many of the filled and frosted ones were too sweet in my opinion and I didn't like the buttercream. I wish more of the donuts booked cute, but also tasted good and had some uniqueness to it rather than just the plain donuts with sprinkles on top. So look this time around it was actually I'm going to give it a four due to the fact that we came at the perfect timing when the glazed donuts are coming out nice and fresh. They're always so yummy when they're fresh obviously anything's good when it's not anything, but you know what I'm saying. The guy was super friendly at the window. Been a fan forever and I still enjoy these donuts. One of the best things about them is you can buy them in the morning and then enjoy one the next day by popping it into the microwave for just a few seconds. Almost tastes like it was just made. This has probably been the worst Krispy Kreme that I've ever been to. It was only 8 pm and the doors were locked despite them saying they were open until 10:30 pm. When I tried the door I saw an employee just sitting on their phone. They looked up at me and gestured to the drive thru indicating that their dining room was closed despite it being hours until closing. On top of this, there was a sign on the door saying they only had original glazed donuts which is crazy to me because specialty donuts are just original donuts with different frosting and there's no way a Krispy Kreme has no frosting at all. Customer service was extremely poor. No one is greeted upon entering. The workers have no idea what is going on. The three young men were too busy doing chores that should be done when there aren't any customers there. Whoever the manager is needs to address this.
