Buyer beware of this so-called service provider. When I initially saw all the positive reviews for RMAP, I was enthusiastic about bringing my RV there for a routine oil change. After waiting the three months required to get my service appointment, the day finally arrived. When I showed-up early for my 8:30 AM appointment time, the man at the counter indicated that "there's no record of your appointment today." (This was particularly strange since I received a confirmation from a person named 'Tim' onne week prior to my scheduled appointment.) The counter guy then indicated that if I left my RV there for the day that they would "sneak it in" with their other appointments. After leaving my RV parked in the lot with the wheels chocked (in a unique manner that let's me know if the vehicle was moved), I then returned after RMAP called me to pick-up my vehicle 15 minutes before closing time. Upon returning to RMAP, the first thing I noticed is that my vehicle was parked in the exact same spot as when I left it in the morning--with the wheels chocked exactly as I had left them. I thought that perhaps the oil change was done using a mobile platform that is brought-out to the parked vehicle. However, I rejected this possibility since all the other RVs being serviced were in the garage bays--and some were even on lifts. When I asked if there were any problems with my RV, I was told "everything checked-out fine...except for a dirty air filter"--which RMAP replaced--and without my permission. When it was time to pay my bill--I was floored by the total--which was close to $300 (!)--for a routine oil change...and despite that I was given a quote on the phone of $150 with parts and labor(!). Clearly--even if the air filter had indeed been replaced--it is unreasonable that it cost $150 to do so. I will be sharing my experience with the CA Department of Consumer Affairs for follow-up. While I have no way of getting back my money--I wanted to post this review to forewarn others so that they don't get ripped-off from this vendor like I did. read more

These guys have done great work keeping my old Chevy in top shape. She's a 56 and runs better than the day that it was made. They work on my other cars too. A little pricey sometimes otherwise would have rated them a 5. read more

Truly one of the best repair experiences I've ever had. Randy, Holly, Tim and Denny were all fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. I had a problem with my motorhome and Randy way beyond the two hours I paid for discussing everything, recommending options, and doing the repair. He is absolutely brilliant and scrupulously honest. Sorry for the late post Randy, I am a long time AT&T employee(35 years),I recently attended a training class at the yard across the street from Randy's shop. I experienced trouble with my 2003 Toyota Corolla. I was referred by the mechanics at the AT&T shop as they cannot work on personal vehicles. Randy treated me with the utmost respect in a way that I have never experienced in my life! I live in a West Sacramento so my company put me up for a week hotel stay and the first day my wife went into the emergency room so I had to go home the first day. Tuesday morning I went back to class then my car would not start, I wanted to go back and see my wife! Randy quickly got my car on the road so I could get on with my personal business. I had another BIG issue, and Randy treated me like I was family! I cannot say enough about the service that Randy and his crew bestowed on me and I am forever great-full. read more

UNBELIEVABLE PROFESSIONALISM AND OVER-THE-TOP customer service. Seriously. Read my other Yelp reviews; I don't hold back the praise when they get it right, and I take no prisoners when they blow it. It's a shame I can't give Randy more stars! HANDS DOWN THE BEST RV/AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. No joke. Example: Saturday night, couple of months ago, I was heading to Mexico in my F350 w/cabover camper, mobbing up the Grapevine. Weird little yellow wrench light goes on, and of course, the stupid Ford manual only has vague and microscopic advice that basically says, "Have vehicle examined by the dealer ASAP." This kind of stuff always seems to happen whenever the dealer is unavailable: weekends, after hours, when there is no cell coverage, etc. In utter despair, I text Randy. It's something like 9pm on Saturday, when he should be out getting his SWERVE on. To my disbelief, he texts me back minutes later, with a comprehensive plan of action, what to do, and definitely what to not do. Ford Motor Company, if you're reading this, would it KILL you to have something like that in your stupid manual if you're going to have a warning light go on? The BASICS. What to do; what to not do. ANYHOO, getting back to how AWESOME Randy's Mobile is, just know this: He is a class act and in a league of his own. I wouldn't CONSIDER taking any of my vehicles or RV's to anyone else, especially .....well, wait. If you can't say something nice, as they say.....Randy's Mobile Automotive Repair puts everyone else to SHAME. He's The MAN, the Supreme Being of all things mechanical, and on top of all that praise, which is factually accurate and well-deserved, get this: he's a really nice person. I have been a client of Randy and "the boys" (Nick, Jesse, etc.) for almost 4 years. I am finally taking the time to sit down and write the review they deserve. This is an excellent, top quality, highly professional shop, Concord's best. Randy totally stands behind the work, and all the guys are great to deal with. They do excellent diagnostic work, and their documentation is superior. You can look back over the work orders and know exactly what work has been done, and what the status and health of the vehicle are like, and what to expect moving forward. The best auto repair in the Concord area. They are honest, accommodating and fair. I moved to Brentwood and miss having them in nearby.

There are not enough good things I would say about Randy, this may in fact sound a little foolish but Randy actually went a long way towards restoring my faith in people. I was in a nightmare situation, 900 miles from homes in a 10,000 pound motorhome with my 13 year old son and I broke down going through Concord. I was super stressed, camping out with homeless people in an old Kmart parking lot and I just wanted to get home. Randy turned what could have been a $2,000 event into a $100 creative solution to get us home safely so we could better deal with things once I had the money to address them (I'm on disability so money is always in short supply). I liked him and his shop enough that I would be tempted to drive there to have my work done even with it being 1,800 miles round trip! Randy, thank you, we made it home safely thanks to you, it was a huge weight lifted off my chest and I really appreciate the help you offered.
