Went here for a date night... Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving.... not very busy but sat at the bar. Server very pleasant and the cook even came out to check on us.... ordered the appetizer prawns and Bavette steak(medium) thank god we ordered medium because it came back closer to we'll done. All of our food was very tasty but barely warm..... not sure if they cooked the appetizer first and realized that I was just eating it with my husbands meal? We stopped here on a trip back from Reno and all I can say is that it's AMAZING!! My husband has the soup and meatballs and I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich - everything was outstanding. And they don't just haVe beer - they had a nice wine selection. Can't wait to come here again! read more

Hostess area needs some work. Had a reservation on a Fri night. Arrived on time, only one person ahead of us, a walk-in. It took 6 minutes to get seated. They sat the walk-in in a great table, but they needed to wait for it to be cleared. Meanwhile a table near a busy walk-in area was free - we waited while they cleared the other table for the walk-in, then they seated us at the busy table. Not a huge deal, but given that our bill was around $75, I expected more nuanced service. Food was good, service good. It is very noisy, hard to even hear the person across from you. There are just so many options in Roseville, probably won't be back. read more

Loved this place. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Menu was fairly innovative. Yes, charcuterie too! Fantastic cheeses on it, truffle tremor, toma and one other. Staff was super friendly. Was in CA on business and ended up back there 3 times. Pizza special was asparagus, prosciutto, shaved parm, piquillo peppers and a balsamic drizzle. Also had a truffle, mushroom & goat cheese pizza...also great. Excellent beer selection too. Who doesnt want to drink beer called "Free Kittens" ?? Also drank the "Dog Years", love good local beers and they had a great selection. Owner Kevin was a great host and if I'm ever back that way I'll be sure to go back!! read more

Yes, that's Espresso Creme Brûlée. And yes, it IS that good! We found this great new restaurant the day after their grand opening; about a month after their soft opening...and they're already spot on! Comfort food with a twist, all house made ingredients, and absolutely delicious! Owner Kevin Kokoszka and chef Kevin Bowes (yup, 2 Kevin's) team up with their outstanding staff to bring some amazing dishes. Awesome Caesar salad, spectacular meatloaf (seared then plated) with garlic mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, followed by this life-changing dessert! I loved the farmhouse vibe they have going on inside! We were lucky enough to be able to dine in right before the 2nd wave of COVID hit and indoor dinning was no longer available. The food though, was not as great as we expected them to be. They were surely good, but not great, hence the 4 stars. We ordered the mini sliders to start with. They were juicy and came in perfect portion size to get our appetite going. For main courses, I ordered chicken waffle while my husband got the fish of the day (grilled salmon with lemon couscous). Mine was a little dry and plain but my husband enjoyed his so maybe I will try their fish next time we are there. read more

Incredible atmosphere, staff were all in sync and upbeat for a random mid-week night. Owner was present and active in every order that left the kitchen (I was at the bar waiting on a to-go order). We had this for our 6 year anniversary. The restaurant was well decorated for a "country theme" which we both enjoyed. The servers were pleasant and helpful. The main issue we had here was the management and ownership. My fiancée was served raw salmon for her entrée. At first it wasn't a problem and the server was going to take it off the order. We decided to order an appetizer to go as well. About 15 minutes go by and they inform us that the owner said that the salmon won't be taken off our order and that we should have told them "sooner". They then say that the owner "left the building" before I could even talk to them. So I decided to cancel my to-go order. A different server then comes to our table and says that we are not aloud to cancel the to-go appetizer that we haven't even received it! Would not recommend this place due to the management "hospitality". read more

We tried this place out for the first time last night for my birthday and it was DELICIOUS! We had a party of 5 and everyone got something different and we all loved our meals! The steak was cooked to a true medium, the pizza was melt in your mouth, kale salad was flavorful and the burger was juicy and delicious, and their fries were crunchy and so good. We will definitely be coming back to try some more new items and some of the appetizers next time! read more

The Range is seriously the best new restaurant in Roseville. I've eaten here about 3 times and have ordered take out for lunch 4 times, I have never been disappointed. The Range burger is to die for, and I'm not even a burger person, my coworkers told me I had to try it and it honestly it's the best burger I've ever had. I love the atmosphere there, great decor inside and out. The owner is always helping his staff, I've seen him bringing our food, busing tables, helping behind the bar, etc. He really has it together. This is a great restaurant!!! The staff were super accommodating, friendly and helpful at making recommendations. I had the ceviche, bison sliders and chocolate mousse - starving after a long drive. The husband and I shared a simple meal comprised of the beet salad and half Forager and half sausage pizza. The food was AMAZING. The salad was fresh and perfectly balanced. I finally got Jorge to eat his beets! :-) The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust. They didn't skimp on their toppings. The mushrooms on my half were perfectly cut and seasoned. Though I didn't try Jorge's half, he thoroughly enjoyed his very cheesy sausage pizza. I never order sausage pizza because it tends to be overly salty but he said it definitely wasn't. Service was friendly though our water glasses were never refilled. They add an automatic 2% gratuity for the kitchen staff aside from your service tip option. Making gratuity mandatory really bothers me but we did not opt out. We were sad they no longer served the creme brulee and didn't care for any of their other dessert options.
