The lobster bites came with a lemon wedge and their house Thousand Island sauce, and that sauce was incredible. The combination of the crispy lobster, lemon, and sauce worked perfectly together. The broccolini was also seasoned really well and paired nicely with the grilled lemon. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was one of the smoothest I've had. One detail I loved was that they stamped the restaurant's logo into the ice cube. Small touch, but really cool. For my main course, I ordered the Grilled Huli Huli Chicken with a crispy rice cake, pineapple, greens, and a house sauce that completely made the dish. The sweet and tangy flavor paired perfectly with the chicken. Me and my girlfriend also shared the mac and cheese, and honestly, this was one of the best mac and cheeses I've had. My Chilaquiles de Chef comes with rice, beans, sunny-side-up eggs, avocado, and a piece of asada laid across, topped with cotija. My daughter's plate was simpler, but it still looked fantastic. Unfortunately, my food was barely warm. I let Mark know, and about 10 minutes later, I received an entirely new plate. This time, the plate was so hot I couldn't touch it--and thankfully, the food was nice and hot too! The chilaquiles were okay. The green sauce was pretty tart, but once the egg yolks oozed over everything, it tasted much better. The asada was also a nice touch. When the waitress came by to ask about our food, I told her about the shrimp and she kindly removed the additional amount from our check but I probably should have just told her about the entire dish. The Fleming potatoes were still crunchy as if they hadn't been baked. It was like eating raw potato. The Mac and cheese smelled and tasted like maybe a bottom layer was burnt and they gave us the top layer hoping we wouldn't notice. Overall it's a nice restaurant but I don't think the food is at the level of the pricing and so for that reason I don't think we will be going back.
