Our friends from Houston love this place and it was the first spot they took us to when we were visiting, and I understand why! The back patio was expansive and a great place to hang out--there was even a waterfall and a playground for kids! Definitely only get something of this size in Texas! The food was all super affordable and delicious, I loved the chicken shawarma pita I got, and the fries were awesome as well. Everything came out so quickly--service was very efficient! Also had a nice hookah menu. A great place to hang out and grab a bite to eat!

Amazing service. The foul was incredible. I definitely recommend getting that for sure! Super casual hookah spot.

The reviews say it's the most flavorful. The lamb flavor is really good but I would still give it a 7/10 compared to other places. The rice and bread were not good at all. The texture was way softer than normal. And the bread just didn't taste good. I was just trying them out bc I love lamb and like trying new places. I would order it again with the rice and bread if that were an option. And the price was kind of high but it would have been a fair price if everything was as good as expected.

Came here a few times during my trip to Houston, food is amazing, and prices are great too! Service was excellent staff was attentive to customers, and it's a very relaxed place. There's indoor and outdoor seating and even an area for people smoking cigarettes. Love the feeling of being back home and I feel every major city with a big Arab population needs a place like this. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for hookah and some great food, especially if you're Arab!

Nice place. Parking is not ideal, it is limited and packet in the small parking lot. The smell of hookah meets you as soon as you walk up to the entrance. Thankfully they have a non smoking area but it is somewhat small- got lucky and it was pretty empty when I went. Best lamb I've ever had hands down! The flavors were there, no questions about it- the meat was thoroughly cooked (well done) and surprisingly tender and quite juicy.. The rice was rich and buttery and leaves you wanting more! The bread is fresh of the grill and is very light and fluffy. The lemon mint juice is a must, I'm addicted to it and compared to other places Ranosh by far has the best one. The guy tending my table was very attentive and nice. I can't wait to go back soon to try some more of their food!

The service for this place isn't great, but the food is delicious. So we just Order To Go

Lamb Plate and the Kafta Plate always so yummy!!!

i love this place!! when I am craving real authentic Mediterranean food and atmosphere this is the place to be. They have a huge indoor patio and out door patio. FYI they let people smoke inside so if your not a fan you may want to sit outside. Hummus is a must have!!! the Mint hot tea also just like how my mom makes it. Its also a great place to just hangout with friends and play cards or Backgammon.

Stopped by here last weekend off a recommendation from a friend and was reasonably impressed. I got hummus, the chicken rice plate, and the chicken, beef and lamb plate. Hummus and pita: 3/5: the hummus here has a very subtle flavor. It has a light, nutty flavor but could have been saltier. The pita bread had a crispy texture and was soft on the inside. Chicken plate "ranosh chicken": 4.5/5: the rice was well cooked in all the dishes. The bone-in chicken was very tender and seasoned well, and I was very impressed by it. The yogurt garlic sauce was creamy and very addicting and went well with every dish we ordered. I would order this dish in the future. Chicken, beef, and lamb mix platter 3/5: Ranosh does chicken very well. Like the bone-in chicken, the chicken breast chunks were also juicy and tender. However, the beef and lamb pieces were pretty chewy and not tender at all. Although they were smoky and flavorful, I would stick to getting chicken dishes here. Each dish comes with grilled tomato, onion, and huge amounts of pita bread. Overall a solid spot to get Mediterranean food. Their chicken dishes are some of the best.

Great food! The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because there service is not consistent. Some days it's and some days it isn't.

The bartenders are friendly and quick with a strong pour. It was too crowded for me as it was hard to walk from one side to the other. I do appreciate the security yet the lines for the bathroom were annoying as they're are only 2. The dj was cool kept the vibe going all night. Decent pricing for drinks and Decent hookah for the city at $25. If I come back I'll be sure to use the bathroom ahead of time to avoid the line and obnoxious knocks on the door and arrive early to avoid being seated in the walkway.

I came in at 4pm on a Tuesday. The crowd was dead for the most part. Why did it take me walking up to the hostess to order? After the server stated she would be with me shortly she proceeds to make several drinks ( when she could've asked for my drink order at least) then takes a toast and lallygag with her friends or people she knows at the bar still not coming back to take my order. I came here to eat and get a drink and having to wait over 10 minutes on a SLOW Tuesday afternoon is a bit crazy. I've gotten better service here on a Friday night where these is no standing room. The catfish basket was delicious as all ways. The best thing on the menu by far!

"Not All Who Wander Are Lost"...And what I found was some great food! Atmosphere is casual, service…read moreis friendly, the vibe is definitely Viking (and from what I have heard, it's really popping during brunch!). We came on. Friday after work during happy hour and the prices could not be beat, especially with their lobster bites (was sitting at about $30, and we got them half off!) Drinks were fantastic! I selected the "Golden Cadillac" that comes with a miniature bottle of Grand Marnier inside of it. Very good. My company decided on an array of appetizers for his "main course", while I went with their Fried Salmon (served with Mac and cheese, and collard greens). Omg! So tasty! The pepper was prevalent throughout, but it did not over power the flavor! I make collard greens at home (and learned from one of the best), and even I found theirs to be pretty good! My company selected fried ribs, along with the lobster bites, and crawfish queso dip, and their wings! I tasted what he got, and we both agreed that the wings were "off the chart" delicious with a beautiful straight off the grill smoky flavor! So good that he got another order to go! Lol. What made our experience there amazing was our server Ray (Rajean = think "the 90's TV Show "Living Single"..."smooches"!)...she was the best!! From her hello, to walking us through the menu (as first-timers), her recommendations, her energy, her smile, and her being very relatable. Loved her! My only gripe was the bathrooms, the ladies room needed attention (and could use a spruce all around). It doesn't help that it is a bit small, but yeah, they need to focus some efforts on ensuring it's upkeep. As for seating and parking, there is a bar area and limited seating toward the front of the restaurant, but it does extend to back of the house with additional seating. There is also patio seating as well. Because this place seems popular, it is best to reserve ahead to ensure your seating. Parking is very limited! They do however, offer valet (but at $20+). There is off-street parking, but be careful since this is a residential area and nothing is secure. All in all, I really had a great time and left with my belly full! Definitely worth checking out! What was lost is now found! Enjoy!

The valet charges $20 or $40 on a week day and its not even that busy. We walked in and nobody was at the front so we asked the first person we saw " do we sit ourselves" , and she said just wait by the entry door and the host will seat you. Well the host came and said "go to the front & I can help you there". Cool. We get seated and given a menu. The menu was dirty, sticky, and over all filthy. We moved inside to the bar and asked a waitress "can you let the bartender know we are here, we think she went to the back for something". The waitress looked at us and said " oh, she know y'all here. She gone come". Instead of letting her know we moved to the bar. Anywho, Bunny took great care us. She literally made our experience go from 1 to a high 8. Ask for Bunnnyyy at the bar!!! Nice music playing. Minus the bugs on the patio (love bug season in tx) and long wait on the patio, the ambiance wouldve been great outside..... Service needs a bit of tweaking, food was good, Bunny was amazing. Well be back in some time. Thank you Bunnyyy!

They were running a BOGO promo for the shawarma, which made it even better. The shawarma actually wasn't too bad at all. I've had some better ones but I've had wayyyy worse here in Houston. Greek salad was pretty good too. I'd probably buy this again honestly. Definitely recommend. Only reason why I gave a 4-star is because they messed up my order and forgot to give me two shawarmas. It was so bland, like I don't think they added any sort of seasoning whatsoever. The chicken was much better though being that it was more flavorful and overall enjoyable. I really enjoy toum sauce too, and I specifically asked them to give me a bunch of extra of those sauces and I do appreciate that they very much satisfied my request. They gave us more than enough sauces so I appreciated that especially for Mediterranean food I feel like the sauces are key. Overall, though this experience was almost subpar, but not quite because I still didn't enjoy the chicken and the sauce and the rice altogether I just really did not like the salmon and I feel like the portion could've been a little bigger too.

I'm just not ok with a dj who is being paid by the owner, telling folks or allowing the MC to tell folks in order to request a song, you gotta pay. If I chose to tip him, so be it, but being forced ain't cool. My biggest complaint was the price of everything. Now I'm a country chick and realize that prices are more expensive in the city. I was approached by the manager and I told her I needed a set up. She asked me what chasers I wanted and I said water and coke. I was charged separately for the water and coke that was supposed to be included in my set up.... so all together for a set up and a hookah, I paid over $60. I've never paid, IN HOUSTON, more than $10 for a set up and $35 for a hookah. Then they have small 4 oz paper cups to get the ice out with. After all this she attempted to charge me a bottle fee for each bottle I brought in. I sincerely think the young lady wasn't sure about what she was doing. Again she maintained her professionalism but she looked overwhelmed. Let's move on to those hookahs, the flavor lasted maybe 10-15 minutes and then the other lady who was helping refresh the coals was firmly pressing them down on the foil. I called her to the side and advised her that she was going to burn the shisha like that and sure enough my next puff was nothing but burnt shisha. They did replace it for free so I can't say much about that but overall....... The employees need training, I think they were overwhelmed and I think y'all were understaffed to serve the amount of people that accompanied this party...
