I called on a sunday to a couple of places that said they were open and left messages. Cody called me back pretty promptly and listened to my washer problem. He helped me diagnose the problem over the phone. It had been a belt that was old and cracked. He quoted me a price he would charge to come out and replace it which was completely reasonable. Or... he said I could just do it myself as it wasn't going to be difficult. Then Cody took time to look up my part and where to find it on my own. He gave me a brief description as to how to do it as well. As it turns out I was able to get my part where he told me I could find it and fix the issue no worries. This is the kind of thing that really endears me to local businesses. It makes me believe that they aren't going to overcharge me for work that they may do for me in the future. They are really nice people and really good sales people. When they set up the washer and dryer, they did a good job and were really polite and professional. To be honest, we're just not happy with the product that we bought. We purchased a 27" front loading LG washer and dryer (refurb). When the washer goes into spin mode, it's really loud. It's so loud, that people one floor below the washer were pretty alarmed at what the noise was. It also shakes a lot. The whole house shakes when the washer goes into spin mode. We've tried leveling the washer (by adjusting the feet) and the issue is still there. While watching some YouTube videos on these LG washers and looking up our LG model, it seems that we got a pretty old model and the LG technology just wasn't that great at the time. TBH, this was our own fault. We should have done a bit more research on our end before we made our final purchase. Looking at the invoice of the washer, nowhere is there information about the model and the year of the washer/dryer. I think that this is something that is Denver Washer Dryer's responsibility. This information should be clearly marked on the paperwork. The reason, however, for the 2-star rating is actually being able to get a hold of someone to come around to take a look at our washer. We initially called Denver Washer and Dryer around October (about a month after our purchase) to getting someone out here. We never got a reply. I then tried calling them again today about having someone take a look at the washer today. Again, we got voicemail. This time I couldn't leave a message since the voicemail box is full. To me, this is never a good sign. Returns are not allowed on their items, so that's not even what we're trying to ask for. We just kind of want to see how we can make the best with something we're just not happy with. Overall, I feel a bit hesitant in recommending this place due to their lack of response to any service calls. If you were to consider making a purchase, I would say to make sure you know what you're getting. *****UPDATE****** Someone returned our call yesterday (after I called-it seems that even though the voicemail box was full, they saw my number under 'missed calls' and called us back) and we set up an appointment for a technician to come out today. To be honest, not much changed with our washer and dryer situation, but we were able to consult with the technician, get peace of mind about whether or not the machine is operating normally and also get some ideas of how to make the best of the situation (which is more of an issue of washer/dryer location situation). I've upgraded their rating and I am more comfortable with recommending them to others. I think that perhaps not getting call back the first time could be more the exception rather than the norm. I would still say, make sure you go in equipped with proper research, which is what one should do anyway, though I think having the year of the model posted on the machines the warehouse would still help. read more

We were really impressed with Michael, who supported our dryer repair from start to finish. Michael was extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional. When we called to get an appointment with Denver Washer Dryer initially, our dryer was worked on previously by a company through Sears. The Sears technician did a horrible job on our dryer; they had taken it completely apart and put it back together incorrectly to where the dryer was not drying or heating correctly, and the door was not closing properly. Michael came out to look at our dryer, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part we needed. He then came back today and disassembled our dryer and reassembled it correctly. Excellent service. I just had my washer dryer stackable delivered today. Cody was awesome! It was a really tight fit for the space, but they made it work. Because I knew it was going to be close in size, I took off he door that covers the laundry area before they arrived. Once the machine was in, Cody insisted on putting the door back on even though I said I could do it later! He said he just wanted to be sure everything would fit correctly. Once the door was back in he and the gentleman with him noticed the gap between the doors didn't quite look right (this is how they were before). They took some extra time to adjust both doors until everything looked even. Absolutely excellent customer service, I could not be happier. I was going to wait to review until I had the machine for a month or two, but based on the level of service so far, I am confident that they will take care of anything if it were to come up. Our Bosch fridge quit cooling one day. After several calls to other repair shops who declined working on that brand, these good folks not only were happy to assist, but also managed to respond the same day! The tech, Michael, was timely, polite, courteous, respectful in all ways, knowledgeable and most importantly diligent in his work diagnosing and repairing our fridge. We bought a wsaher and dryer form them, A Kenmore 80 (Sears) brand for $315 plus $50 to delvier and install. They were on time, SUPER firendly, SUPER quick! WHAT A DEAL! Then, foour months later the washer stopped working. I checked the breaker, hoses, everything. So they came out on a Sunday for $25?!?! VALUE MY FRIENDS. My old dryer had gone out in spectacular fashion---shooting sparks out of the control panel --and nearly electrocuting me in the process. I was pretty sure that it would either have to be replaced or that it would be way too expensive to fix, so based on the positive reviews that I'd read here on Yelp, I called Denver Washer & Dryer to inquire about getting a replacement. They said that they had replacements but that they would come out first and take a look to see if my old one could be saved and that they'd also bring a replacement when they came out--- that they quoted me a really reasonable price--- on just in case mine couldn't be fixed. The guys came out the next day and were very professional and friendly and they were actually able to fix my dryer for a nominal amount and they even replaced a knob that had been missing on it for years for free. I appreciated the fact that they just fixed my dryer and didn't try to make money off me by selling me another one-- and because of that---I'll definitely be calling them again if I ever need any appliance repairs or when I do need to buy a new dryer once mine does finally go out for good. read more

Why aren't there more companies like this one? These guys are the real deal for getting your washer/dryer repaired. They are expanding to other appliances as well. Our dryer failed today. I looked up the issues online and tried turning off the power for 30 minutes. When that did nothing, I checked Yelp for help and found this group. Daniel answered my call himself and spent 10 minutes talking to me about potential causes and fixes. He offered to have Chris and Cody come to my house within 5 hours of my call to him. The guys showed up right on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Cost was $135, which seemed more than fair given their same day service, helpful approach, courtesy, enthusiasm, and knowledge. I know who to call for my next washer/dryer problem.
