Rapid Fired Pizza is a chain pizza place. I had never been there before but had seen there stores a couple times. Grubhub, which I had never used before, had some pretty good deals. So, I figured I'd order delivery from Rapid Fired Pizza, and give them a try. I ordered a 11 inch BYO pizza which stands for "build your own". I had pepperoni, ground beef, and black olives as toppings. Rapid Fired Pizza allows you to customize sauce and cheese, but I just went with standard red tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. I got the thin style crust. I also ordered four pepperoni sticks. The pizza delivery time was reasonable but the pizza was kind of cold (like room temperature). This place is about 4 miles from me so I'm not quite sure why that was. The pizza was mediocre to me. The toppings were good but it seemed like the pizza could've used a touch more sauce. Also, I didn't like the crust. It seemed hard to chew and wasn't very flavorful. The pepperoni sticks though, were huge and I did like those. They were cheesy and they look deep fried but I believe they are baked. I wish I would've ordered sauce with the pepperoni sticks. The pepperoni sticks are a good buy. The pizza is not. I would not recommend even though they have a variety of pizzas to choose from and allow you to build your own pizza and customize it. The pizza just isn't that good. We order from this location all the time and every time I have to request sauces and dressings that we already paid for but this last time. I ordered a pizza with dipping sauces and never received anything not even an apology. Then the cashier just left, came back and started to make a pizza for someone else without gloves after touch money and credit cards. I left with the other orders I could. all three orders were wrong, pizza not cut, no dressings, no dips, and missing entire salads. also, the pizza we did receive tasted like cinnamon because no one had washed the only cutter in the building. I tried calling 131 times but of course the phone was off. I drove all the way back and demanded to speak to a manager. 5 mins later some guy (no name badge) shows up, not to eager to help. I had major apprehensions about fast food pizza (especially having lived in Italy for a few years). I must say this is a great find. The crust is definitely not an Italian recipe but absolutely edible! With all the fresh toppings, different types of cheeses and sauces, the personalized experience is unbeatable. They recently installed a fancy beer, cider and wine machine which is self operable (charged by ounce) with a bracelet. I love the idea because it saves work for everyone! Closing thoughts... Really like this place. Some different options compared to the other fast fired pizza places out there. If you have not been to any other rapid fire pizza places the concept is basically you pick your crust, toppings, and sauces on a personal pizza which they then cook quicky. Unlimited choices! This is my second visit to Rapid Fired but first visit to the Centerville Store and first time with the You Pour Taps. I have to say, this place rocks! The reason for it only being my second visit is because I live in Colorado and don't come to Dayton too much. Hopefully, Rapid Fired will keep expanding and be in my hometown soon. The pizza is awesome. You can literally put anything you want on the pie and as much as you want. It comes out quick, hot and tasty. The You Pour Taps are a unique concept. There was plenty of selection and if you only wanted to try a little, you can just put a small taste in your glass. This is basically like the Chiptole of pizza. You walk in, get in line, and order your pizza, salad, and/or breadsticks. I ordered a thin crust taco pizza and my husband ordered a pan cheese pizza. I wasn't expecting much, but can say I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I really like the flavors of the taco pizza and I thought the cheese was okay, nothing special, but not bad. I thought the crust for both pizza's were great. I found the pan to be similar to pizza hut's crust. They have your traditional drink options as well the Pepsi spire machine with over 120 flavor combinations. Like Chiptole they also have a liquor license and can serve beer. It was a cool new place to check out and we will be back! read more

Finally asked if they would be helping those of us in line ever... he said these orders were here before the line.... and "just leave" "get out". So we did. Well I was excited to read that Rapid Fire Pizza had a taco pizza on their menu. Had not had a really good one for a very long time. Never been to Rapid Fire either. So I went to the fairly new one in Milford across the street from Walmart. The place was clean. The staff friendly. I ordered the 9 inch taco pizza. The order was delivered in a very reasonable time frame. Looked pretty good. Well . . . . the pizza practically had no taste at all. Great concept, friendly staff, and good food. Don't worry when you walk in and the line is almost out the door, it goes fast. The atmosphere is a bit loud and it feels much like the Chipotle of pizza. But the food is good and I like the topping choices. I got the 9" pan with red sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage. It was good pizza and took about 3 mins to cook. I would also suggest the cheese bread. It has a great seasoning on it that I think they would do well to put on the pizza crust. read more

One of my new favorite local spots, so many pizza choices! Multiple crusts, sauces, cheeses and toppings, can't wait to go back and try more. Wife and I split a custom veggie on gluten free thin crust, with the pesto sauce. Very yummy, but next time will avoid buffalo mozzarella cheese as it doesn't melt and stays in chunks. I order the custom thin crust pizza with light cheese, pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, mushrooms, scallions, artichoke, peppers, onions, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and basil. What a great deal for under $8.00. They never say NO to the amount of toppings I select. That is custom pizza with innovation. Every week the pizza is just as good with all the best and fresh toppings. The staff is always friendly and super fast. This is one of our favorite work lunch places and meeting locations. The restaurant is always clean. The pizza sauce bar is my favorite. It offers butter and pesto sauce selection. This location even has a custom touch screen beverage dispenser. Went opening day. The first 500 people got free pizza. I went through the line smoothly. The staff are nice and friendly. There was just one minor issue, people tend to reach over the glass that shields the food. This man in front of me literally reached over and pointed at the toppings he wanted! That's not sanitary. I could tell staff wanted to say something but they were hesitant. Just hope they keep people from doing that in the future. Or put up a sign? But other than that, I love it! Love the concept! It's like the 'Chipotle' of pizza places. You go down a line and build your own personal pizza! You choose everything: the dough, sauce, cheese, meat, veggies, and spices. They use a method to cook the pizza, which cooks it super fast. It's finished within minutes. They have a sauce bar with a nice variety of sauces to dip your pizza dough in. They are all very tasty! They also have a Pepsi machine with over 100 drink options (like the Coke version). The quality isn't quite as good as Blaze and the cooking method isn't as good. For a pizza and drink it's under $10/person. The topping options are fantastic and the service is quick and friendly. read more

I was one of the very first customers ever for this store. I have been frequenting at least once a month ever since they opened. I enjoyed the fact that my son, who has a Gluten Allergy, could get a nice pizza here without worrying about cross contamination. Recently I placed an online order for pickup. I triple checked the order and then asked my son to pick it up. When he got there he followed the standard directions and texted the store to let him know he was there for pick at the assigned time. He received a text back saying they would be right out with the order. After 30 minutes of waiting, we went inside to see what was going on. He was told that the store was closed. He turned around and pointed to the open sign, which was lit, and said he had an order for pickup that had been paid for and he had received text confirmation on. He was told that the store was closed because there was no one experienced and every employee was new. My son repeated that he had a paid order and after some discussion they said they would make the order and bring it out. My son went back outside and waited in his car. After 15 more minutes he went back inside and after asking, they gave him the order. When he got back home, we discovered the order was wrong. I immediately tried to call the store and there was no answer. I went to the corp website and used the contact us page to ask for someone to call me and that I wanted my money back and an apology. After waiting several days, hearing nothing, I went into the store and asked to speak to the manager on duty. He took my name and number and said someone would be in touch. It has been 3 days, I am still waiting for someone from Rapid Fire to call / contact me. VERY POOR customer service, especially for what was a regular customer. We are done and will take our business else where. read more

This place runs on a similar concept as Chipotle. You step up, pick your crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings and they send it through a conveyor belt oven. Your pizza is ready in minutes. I like everything about this place except the pizza. It's nice inside. It has lots of seating options. The soda fountain is very cool and gadgety and they offer a large variety of dipping sauces for your crust. The trouble I had was it's just not very good pizza. It taste like a cheap frozen pizza. Which is ok but I can get a bomb digity frozen pizza for $5. I could really see this place struggling to make it. There are just too many good pizza options on this strip of road. WOW. WOW. WOW. It's been a long time since I've been excited about pizza. But this place rocks. A large made-to-order pizza (similar to a medium at other stores) costs $10.75 and it is ready in 180 seconds! You can choose from about a dozen premade recipes or choose four ingredients, fewer ingredients cost less money. And the ingredient assortment is amazing. They are laid out in front of you like sandwich toppings at Subway. I had to choose between regular pepperoni and jalapeño pepperoni, I chose regular to be safe. But later the worker gave me a sample of the jalapeño pepperoni and I wished I had chosen that instead. Amazing flavor, still haunts me in a very good way! If you want FAST pizza that tastes excellent, you need to try Rapid Fired. PS. After looking over the ingredients, I quipped: "looks like you aren't a REAL pizza place because you don't have anchovies." "But we do!" they said. Great in theory, not so much in execution. After having experienced places like this in DC (think Chipotle concept - only in design - constructed for pizza lovers), I had high hopes for this place. Custom pizza for the masses, ready in moments. Fast casual setting, tons of different sauce and topping options. My husband and I stopped in on a weeknight, so the line was short, and things were off to a good start. We both ordered thin crust pizzas and built our own. Mine with mozzarella, spicy tomato sauce and extra mushrooms, his a buffalo chicken pizza concoction. While we waited for our pizzas, we were impressed by the array of dipping sauces available for sampling or eating with your pizza - I was excited to see pesto. The pesto was underwhelming. When our pizzas were ready, we dug in. Immediately, I was disappointed by the taste of the crust. We both found it bland to the point of being tasteless and a little under-cooked. My tomato sauce was one-note. It tasted like someone opened a can of unseasoned tomato sauce and mixed it with sriracha. Needed salt, sugar, and seasoning in general. My husband's buffalo sauce on his pizza was tasty, but the chicken was nearly inedible. It tasted like frozen, low-quality chicken scraps. It probably is, but I was hoping for a more fresh, gourmet take on pizza here. The focus seems to be more on having a large selection of ingredients, instead of having higher-quality ingredients that taste fresh. And again, much of pizza depends on the crust, and the crust was unsatisfying in so many ways. There are much better local, non-chain pizza options in the area. Support those! read more

Also have GREAT sauce bar of over a dozen options, which allowed me to drizzle ranch, pesto and various pepper sauces where desired. I loved their thin crust! Pizza took 3-4 min to go thru the conveyor oven, so they came about the same time I sat down. Seating & interior are like Hothead or Chipotle. This was my first time at RFP so I wasn't sure what to expect our do..if you haven't been here before you go through a line like at subways or Chipotle and order your pizza. They only have 2 sizes depending on pan crust or thin crust. The pizza was good I got the pan and it was a little doughy for me. For 2 people we only ordered 1 pizza and had to go back in line to get a second one to fill us up. The side salad was pre boxed and a little small and watery for me. I will go back and give them a second try now I know the pizza I want to try the thin crust to see if I like it better. read more

I came here this afternoon with two friends for lunch and I'm surprised that this place doesn't have better reviews! This pizza place is a Chipotle/Subway type build your own pizza joint. Their ingredients were fresh and my thin crust pizza turned out great! With a myriad of options, you can't go wrong as long as you know what you like! I was also impressed with all the extra sauces they had! I tried the chipotle sauce, boom boom sauce, and the rapid fire sauce. Though were are yummy, the rapid fire sauce was my favorite. So everyone keeps saying this is the Chipotle of pizza. And it is definitely the same concept (in Dayton that means it's also the same as Subway, Fusian, and Piada). But it is no Chipotle. The beautiful thing about Chipotle is the simple yet quality menu and ingredients. There's just entirely too many choices when it comes to building your own pizza. I was there on a busy Saturday afternoon, so I'd like to try it again during an off time, when I can actually talk to the pizza makers about the ingredients and explain exactly what order I want toppings put on my pizza. But that kind of defeats the purpose, if it's not a quality experiance during busy times. And in the end it's only a mediocre pizza. The crust is bland and regular red sauce completely uninteresting. My bottom line is this is just another suburban novelty. I'm sure they will survive on curiosity for a while but when it comes down to it, for the price there's way better pizza out there and you only have to wait a few more minutes for it. read more

Ordered a blueberry dessert pizza, only to have the female worker ARGUE with me, several times, that they've never served it here (despite being on the menu and the fact that I'd ordered it at this exact store twice before). We were impressed! Having been to this style of pizza place before (think Chipotle for pizza) I had something to compare it to. The toppings were fresh, the options seemingly limitless, and the turnaround time truly "rapid". They had two different crust options, which I haven't seen before. My husband got the thick crust (literally just thick, not Chicago style), which he didn't have a problem with, but he preferred my thin crust. Not only was my pizza bigger, both crusts were basically flavorless so there's not really a reason to get the thick crust. They have a huge variety of different dipping sauces, which adds a new fun element to pizza eating. We had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon, so we came out at under 8 dollars for two (with sodas) and even had enough for leftovers. That's a win in our book! read more

Looks like there is another place that has gone the way of cafeteria style food, this time with pizza...Rapid Fired Pizza. I decided to give it a try for lunch today, and it wasn't bad. I would go again. Its set up cafeteria style where you go down the line and choose your crust, toppings, sauce, etc. Their nitch is that your pizza will be made in 180 seconds. I don't know if that is entirely accurate, but it did come out of the oven pretty fast. I waited less that 5 minutes, and that is being a little generous. You can choose from either thin crust, thick, or gluten (aka cardboard, for an extra $2) The sauces range from your regular red sauce to spicy red, buffalo and even olive oil. There are numerous cheeses like, mozzarella, parmesan, blue cheese, goat. Various meats like the norm you would find on a pizza but also chicken sausage, grilled chicken, ground beef. Veggies are plentiful, such as onions, olives, artichoke, spinach, tofu, arugula, to name a few. You can also choose spices to top it off. There are a variety of dipping sauces...too many to mention. Rapid Fired also has custom salads for $7.25 and craft beer. An 11 inch pizza will run you $7.25, no matter how many toppings, though a one topping may run a little less. They have custom pizzas you can choose from, you can alter them as well. Since I am a carnivore (when I am not juicing), I went for the triple bypass. It typically comes with spicy red sauce, mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, black olives, and jalapeño. I changed my sauce to a regular red and omitted the jalapeños. I added oregano and crushed red pepper flakes to it, on a thin crust. All in all its a pretty tasty bite and worth trying.
