Rapid Flow was able to come and save the day on Saturday when my house trap was clogged and water wasn't draining. They picked up the phone, got me in touch with service person, arrived in window they gave me, unclogged and cleaned pipes, and cleaned up and left. It's wasn't inexpensive, but I think the rate is reasonable for weekend service. I think I would've paid just about anything anyway. It was a nasty mess... I tried several local plumbers first but didn't have success getting them over to the house. I hope never to deal with such issue, but I know exactly who to call first. read more

This company needs to be your first and only choice to get the main drain cleared out. Had lots of roots per video inspection. Peter worked very hard to clear the main drain. He withdrew about eight pounds of roots. A dozen worms were in the pile. Final video showed the drain perfectly clear. Rapid Flow tech came to clean outdoor drains that were overflowing due to the heavy rains we've had recently. The tech explained that my drains were clean and it was just because the ground was too saturated with all the rain that we've had. Thankfully I canceled Rotor Rooter since they wanted to charge me $1700 without even looking at my drains (this was flat rate then if he went over 2 hours wanted $875 each hour after). Yup... another emergency in East Boston and Rapid Flow came to my rescue again!! I honestly don't even know how they can be so good... really, I don't! They came out immediately and diagnosed my problem.. the next day they had a whole crew at my house before 7am on Friday! Talk about Rapid! They orchestrated everything so quickly... permits, equipment, soil, gravel, a police detail and the BWS inspection... all in less than 24 hours. The owner of the company was even on site. Some of them were there working until 8pm! Not only are all their workers competent, but they are so nice and respectful! This is such a top notch organization! It is so awful when you have a need for emergency plumbing services... but they really take control of the situation and put the homeowner at ease. A truly amazing group of people. read more

This is my first time writing a review for a company but the quality and level of service provided by this company is more than enough reason to do so. I had a blockage in my main sewer line that no amount of plunging or drain-o could fix. Roto-Ruter man snaked it and told me my pipe was broken and it would cost me $2500 to fix it. Jason from Rapid Flow came out after I dug the pipe and worked it the right way and didn't leave until my water was flowing clean and easy. On top of that he charged me more than $100 less than the crook I called first. The moment he arrived and told me "we'll fix this" I was at ease. If I could give Jason at Rapid Flow a 100 stars, I would. I had a real complicated plumbing situation. I had roots in the main drain, and it was severely complicated by RotoRooter (please never use RotoRooter unless you want to be screwed over and over again. Instead of unclogging my drain, Rotorooter technician got their snake stuck, left it in there for good, left the drain plug and hatch to the pit open, as a result of which I had sewage pour into my basement, thereby creating a very expensive and hassling situation out of a simple one). I called Boston Drain, and their technician could not unclog it. Boston Drain refused to jet the line and suggested a very expensive dig for pipe replacement. In despair, I called RapidFlow. Jason called me back. He was super confident from the get go, and so reasonably priced that I could not say no to his help. He went in and after 3 hours of snaking the drain at night cleared it for me. Boston Drain folks went in the next day, and their master tech told me that Jason had done an unbelievably astounding job on clearing the drain. I was told by unrelated folks that the drain was clear to function without a hitch for 20 years. That apart, I have to say that I have never had an amazingly helpful service person in. I never met Jason in person (I was not at the property, and only talked with him over the phone). He saved me a mountain of heartache, hassle and expense. I cannot help rave about him enough. This guy is out of this world good at his trade. He did not leave me in the lurch like RotoRooter. He worked his magic on a very large root (several inches thick) that had the main drain completely blocked shut. Most everybody would perform a drain surgery to clean it up...but not this guy. He is a wizard. If you have drain clogs, don't bother going anywhere. Call RapidFlow and ask for Jason. If he cannot fix it, then I do not think anyone else can. Thank you Jason!!! read more

Rapid Flow is very professional, diligent and efficient. I recently had my sewer lateral relined in my house in East Boston. I believe Rapid Flow is way ahead of the curve and possesses the most advanced equipment and experience in this relatively new technology. Rather than having to dig up the street and replace the sewer lateral, the lateral, if not too far damaged, can be relined. Mark G led the team, which took about 2 work days about a week apart. The first day consisted of sending a camera down the sewer and clearing the tree roots, debris and identifying the cracks, misalignments, etc. The second day consisted of a re-examination of the lateral and then installing the new lining, which had to be specially ordered. Rapid Flow took care of obtaining the permits and approvals from Boston Water, which was very helpful and accommodating. I cannot overestimate the professionalism and expertise of this company. I believe the job would have cost thousands of dollars more if I had to dig up the street because my lateral was approximately 107 feet to the City's main line. read more

I run an association of 8 condominiums and we have a catch basin on premises that required a cleanup. I hired these guys to do the work. When I originally called their 800 number on Friday and left my information they called me back 15 minutes later and told me that they will be back in touch on Monday. Week came by and I have not heard from anyone. I called again next Thursday and we agreed upon price ($1000) and the date to do the work (next Thursday, the day when I am working from home). Their manager (who by the way while talking to me on the phone was also talking to 2 different people at the same time) also told me to call them on Wednesday to confirm. However, instead they showed up with the truck on Tuesday at 7am while I was getting ready to go work. When I asked the driver why they came on Tuesday instead of Thursday he just told me that he was told to come today. Since it only take about 30 minutes, I told him to do the work. On my way out I checked with him, the job was done, I got the paperwork and asked him if they will be sending a bill by mail, to which he said OK. I left. 20 minutes later as I was on my train to commuter train to work, I got a call from the driver who told me that he needs to get paid right away because his boss said so. I told him that we have agreed upon them sending me a bill, to which he said yes, but his boss wants money now. I asked his boss to call me, which he did. I asked him why they come on Tuesday instead of Thursday as we have agreed and he did not have an answer for that. He never apologized, instead he told me I should have sent truck back and not let them do the work. He demanded that I have to pay now, otherwise they will just put everything back in. When I asked why he can't just send me an invoice, he again had no answer, instead he said he told me up front (he never did!) they need to get paid right away. I did eventually phoned my wife and asked her to pay these guys. I will never use this guys again and I strongly recommend others not to. They are completely unprofessional and even though they have 800 number, they have no idea what customer service is. read more
