They offered to help us place the items, after they unwrapped, where we wanted them to go rather than just dropping off and leaving. I wish I could provide zero rating for their services. I had a pipe burst at my place and had to move furniture (bed frame, mattress and side table) to next bed room as part of restoration, was referred to them by restoration company and reached out to Paul(PM) they were extremely busy and came by in a week and moved the stuff so contractor began to work. Spoke to Insurance agent and provided headsup that packout quote is on the way, agent ack;d and look forward to accommodate the quote only for labor. Requested rapidpackout to send the quote to adjuster as well. once the contractor work is done, called Stephanie at rapidpackout on November 11th to check on quote and request for packback in - NO RESPONSE Called back again on November 12th to check on quote and request for pack back in and left voice mail - NO RESPONSE Reached out to Paul(PM) on TEXT on November 12th and mentioned not able to receive response from Stephanie and want to wrap things up -- NO RESPONSE. I finally took care of move in stuff by myself - the whole idea of their business is take care of their customer's moving needs, I felt they dropped the ball. Finally they called me back on December 1st (after 20 days) to mention the quote was $1400 for less than hour labor charge to move (bedframe, mattress and side table) and reached out to adjuster. By the time entire claim payments were done and moved on to other stuff as well. Now we are trying to work on their re-adjusted quote and process their payments, which is FRUSTRATING to re-open the claims and get the funds to pay out. It would have been much smooth if they were on top of things in their customer's interest. I should have read few of the previous reviews before I did business with rapidpackout, I regret for that. If you would like to have peace of mind, reasonable quotes/prices, company to work on your best interests of time, take care of your needs then there are ton of companies out there, NOT rapidpackout. read more

Unfortunately I experienced water damage at my home and needed to replace all the flooring. I hate moving so I knew this was going to be a pain. The contractor recommended Rapid Packout to move everything out for me and it turned out to be much easier than I expected. Alejandro showed up with his crew and were amazingly fast! I have a mini bar that includes a lot of bottles and glassware. They wrapped up every item carefully and moved them without any breakage. Prior to moving, pictures were taken with inventory of items. The process was really easy and professional. So far I have only experienced the packout service. Update- After six long months with all my furniture in a pod in my driveway, the insurance work was finally complete on the entire downstairs level of my house and I called Rapid Packout to unload the contents of the pod and move everything back in for me. Once again, it was a seamless process. The guys showed up on time, had enough help to move my over-sized heavy furniture back into place, and were thoughtful enough to bring bootie/shoe covers to protect the brand new white carpet. Everything was moved back into place carefully, with no damage whatsoever to anything. After being stored in a pod in my driveway all throughout the Fall, Winter and early Spring, with some of the worst rain I have ever seen in San Diego, I was worried that something would end up being damaged (I had just purchased two new sofa and love seat sets right before the flood damage, of course!) every single thing that was stored was in perfect shape. This is a testament to not only the brand new pod that was delivered, but also to the way every piece of furniture was very well wrapped with moving pads and clear heavy duty plastic, and the conscientiousness of the employees. For the people that complain about the cost of these services, all I have to say is - THIS is what you have insurance for. Rapid Packout is providing emergency services, day or night, weekend or holiday, in an effort to mitigate further damage to your belongings. And they are entitled to charge for that service and convenience. The insurance adjuster I had to deal with was probably one of the cheapest, low-balling adjusters ever when it came to every other aspect of my claim, but the one thing I never heard any complaints about was the invoices from Rapid Packout. That tells me he knew the price he was charged for their services were well within the norm, since I chose Rapid Packout, this was not a vendor he recommended I use. Thank you again, Rapid Packout, for your professionalism and extreme care taken with my belongings.
