Pros: The service has always been fast whenever I went in. Good drink size The ability to pick how sweet you want your drink and how much ice you want (though no ice costs money!) They give you a nice amount of boba Cons: Not much sitting room Prices are on the high side compared to other boba places in Davis (of which there are now many) The regular milk tea with red bean is fine. I went in another time and tried to order the mango green tea creama, but the cashier didn't hear the mango part so I ended up with a matcha green tea creama. The bottom of this drink was slightly bitter from the matcha, but otherwise the flavor was fine and the cream on top didn't dilute the drink too much, nor was it too thick or 'oily.' Strawberry black tea is not good. It is very bitter. Super weird tasting. Other drinks are fine. The pearls are average. Service is very quick. The high mountain milk tea is very good. Mango green tea creama, oolong milk green tea, and honey green tea were on point. One of the better milk tea place in davis. I really like the five star reward system. Went to the address that's published on Yelp, they weren't there. Found another RareTea almost 1/2 mile away, the name is different but at this point I went in anyway. Come to find out it's RareTea with a different name outside. That is so confusing! The pictures I saw on the yelp page shows cups that come with the drink but when I ordered, the cup was more or less a "I guess I can keep" sorta cup with a plastic sheet to make a lid. This boba shop is not too bad for Davis~ It's located near the Death Star, so perfect for any Davis students to get a quick cup of boba. It gets busy at times, but line moves pretty quickly. Sharetea is one of the places you can choose the ice level and sweetness level (100%, 80%, 50%, 20％、and 0%). I've come here many times, I personally like the fruit tea rather than the milk tea since they actually put real fruit bits inside the tea. My favorite is the mango black tea with 50% sweetness and no ice. This time I tried something new and got the Hawaii fruit tea. I liked how it was a blend of different tropical fruits. It was 50%, so not too sweet. 100% is way too sweet in my opinion. The boba is pretty average, so I usually just get the tea. The price ranges from $3.50-$4.50 (one size). They charge extra for no ice. Not the best boba I've been to, but it's very convenient for UC Davis students. read more

Decent boba at a slightly higher price. When ShareTea first opened, the lines were super long, but now that it's settled in, it's pretty easy to go in and get whatever drink you want in decent timing. I tend to get a plain black milk tea, which tends to be pretty good. The only disappointing thing is that ShareTea's prices are slightly higher than the other boba shops in Davis. I'm also a bit disappointed that they seem to nickel and dime you for every little thing. No ice, add 25c; add boba, 50c. All in all, ShareTea is a decent boba shop only due to it's location and it's on par standards of milk tea. read more

I tend to judge boba places more harshly because there are SO MANY boba chains now and they are all fine establishments. So unless something really stands out, I give it a 3star. Sharetea has the advantage of being really close to the MU, right next to campus. Their drinks are fine, but nothing stands out. I swung by today and they had a steady flow of customers but no line! The service is very nice too. I learned that Hokkaido and Okinawa MT only come in 80% or 100% sweetness. Other drinks have more options in terms of sweetness levels. I typically order drinks with 25%, 30% or 50% sweetness, so I was worried that the 80% minimum option for those two milk teas might be too sweet. I ordered the Okinawa Milk Tea at 80% and it is pleasantly nice! I did not taste any unmixed powder and the drink did not taste diluted like TeaBo. Worst boba place I've ever been to. Two of my friends got the Taro milk tea and it was very plain, doesn't taste like taro at all and was also bitter. I wanted to try something new so I got the Hokkaido milk tea and spat it out in front of the place as soon as it touched my tongue. The taste was very unbearable. Another boba shop in Davis! So many in such a small town! I've had share tea in the bay and thought it wasn't bad. This place isn't bad either. If you like tea flavor then you should come here. I can taste the tea flavor, but it's not the strongest tea flavor I had before. I got green milk tea with pudding, not bad. Probably not my favorite place in Davis, but if you are on campus this place is in a prime location because it's right on the edge of campus (a block from the Death Star building). I came here again with another friend. My friend recommended the taro milk drink because she had it in the bay before, so we hoped it will be as good as the share tea in the bay. It wasn't :( she said it usually has chunks of taro in it, but when we received our drinks it was too blended. The taro pieces were too blended.
