Live Laugh Love Rasa... Incredible.. as ALWAYS. Service was wonderful from the hosts and majority of the bartenders, I will say, only negative was one of the waitresses seemed to be in a more negative mood and was just short & not super friendly with us. I like to think she might've just been having a bad night.. everything else was damn near perfect. I love the host, he is so friendly and hospitable. Everything was SO delicious.

Good Indian food with lively atmosphere and good service for a Saturday night out. We had the shrimp biryanis, chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. All were good but the shrimp was the standout. Cauliflower appetizer and Nan bread were also yummy.

Rasa beats any Indian restaurant in the area - RI and MA. I never have a bad meal. Anytime I'm in the area, I always stop by and get the veg thoran with lemon rice (which is vegan and gluten free!). Anytime I get Indian food elsewhere I always compare it to Rasa and Rasa still hasn't been beat! I've gotten both take out and sat in the dining room and you can't go wrong either way. Even when you get the food to go it's still fresh and tasty!

This is by far the best flavored Indian food you will find in Rhode Island. My husband and I never have issues with the taste and flavors. The pear martini transports me into such a cozy place with the most lovely flavor. Sudip always greats us with such a friendly smile and tempers us everytime. The restaurant is so lucky to have him.

Rasa is one of our 'go to' local spots. Located on Main St. parking is 'on street' or in a public lot nearby. There is one on-street handicapped spot on the corner, about a block before the restaurant. Plenty of crosswalks along Main St. A hostess will seat you. The front window wall opens fully to allow for an 'outdoor seating' feel while still indoors. Seating is a mix of tables, booths or at the bar. The menu includes courses from appetizers to desserts with a full bar. All menu items are based on Indian cuisine so if you aren't a fan of the spice pallet maybe not a good choice for you? However, the spice level is pleasant and there are many options including curry, byria, Korma and masala. We have enjoyed every dish ordered at Rasa. I love their tea options and the variety of protiens from Lamb to tofu. Soup, salad, naan, samosas. Even if you don't count yourself a 'fan', you'll probably find something here to try. Restrooms are located at the back, one for each with a diaper station in the ladies (tbf, I didn't look in the men's room so there may be one there too). The staff are always pleasant. The ambiance is stylish and comfortable. A nice date spot, work lunch or family meal location.

If you remember - make a reservation ahead of time for a weekend dinner! Rasa is always busy on the weekend and for a good reason! The staff is always so nice even though you can tell they are slammed and working so hard to get everyone what they need. The restaurant isn't super large and can be kind of loud depending on where you're sitting so just keep that in mind. We ordered the grilled salad one with chicken, the other with paneer. I can see why people would like it but the char on the lettuce wasn't my favorite but the rest of the salad was yummy. Dinner was onion chili and garlic cilantro naan - always good options, if you're looking for a sweet one the date or ginger naan are soooo good! I got the lamb curry and my husband got shrimp curry. Both very good! I always know I'll get a good quality meal coming here!

I'd been to and really enjoyed Chaska and I saw they are owned by the same person/group. Since there was a $5 off Black Friday special, I decided to try this restaurant. The menus were very similar. I started with mushroom soup and lamb samosa. The samosa were so flavorful and both dipping sauces were excellent. The mushroom soup was on the bland side and needed maybe some salt or spice. It was still pretty good and I liked the coconut flavor of the broth. The chicken tikka masala was tender but the flavor wasn't as good as it was at Chaska. It needed some more creaminess or time to "come together". Service was excellent and the space was cozy. I parked on the street a couple blocks down and enjoyed walking the town and seeing the nice window decorations for the holidays. Overall, this was a nice meal and a place I'd eat at again when I'm in the area.

Rasa never disappoints! This is the best Indian food in the area and is on adorable Main Street in EG. During my last visit, I got the pumpkin chicken curry for dinner. It was my first time having that dish and it was delicious! I also ordered the citrus honey martini drink which is a family favorite whenever we go here. Definitely recommend going to Rasa:)

It's been a minute since my last visit to Rasa. I'll start by saying I love all of the restaurants that the owners run, Chaska, Rasoi, Kabob and Curry and Rasa are always great choices and each is a little different. We'll get right to the food (most important) then I'll talk the service etc. Ginger Honey Naan: this was our starter, the flavors were top notch. If you're a ginger fan, I highly recommend. I would say I have had better Naan at some other restaurants, this one was a little under done for my preference and didn't have that nice crispness to it. Saffron Chicken Kebab (dinner portion): you know how portions seem to shrink and the price just keeps going up everywhere, well, not here. I have a big appetite and this dish gets huge value points. No exaggeration there were 2 full chicken breasts worth of chicken on my place that were wonderfully tasty and tender from their yogurt saffron marinade. That dipping sauce, whatever black magic they have going on in there is delicious. Use all that up and use it for the rice if you have any left, or drink it. The little chickpea cucumber salad they put on the plate was cute, it was a funny portion size compared to the rest of the dish. I wish there was more of it but I was in no position to complain seeing that I was stuffed from all the other good on the plate. Now for the other details: We visited on a Tuesday night right after work and were kindly greeted and quickly seated. The restaurant wasn't very busy but filled up when we were getting towards the end of our dinner, so I'd recommend a reservation for something around 6:30-7pm even on a weeknight. Service was solid throughout our dinner and I have zero complaints. I do feel as if the restaurant is a little dated compared to previous visits (it's been quite some time). I think some of their other locations got a bit of an update, I'm thinking Rasa might be next on their docket. But I don't really care about that, if the food is good, the service is good and I leave full, then I'm a happy customer. Loved it all!

Loved the chicken biryani and such fun and creative cocktails. I had their special mocktail with coconut cream and it was devine.

We have been to Rasa few times in the past. We went for their Monday dinner special tonight. (1 starter, 2 entrees and 1 dessert for $50) We had potato Samosas for starter, Chicken Masala and pepper lamb Masala for our entrees, and kulfi (Indian ice cream) for dessert. Everything tasted good tonight. Manager at this restaurant is always friendly. It's a restaurant I will visit again.

Managers are great! Food is great! Naan is great. Parking is tough, but they have a valet. Use the valet... service was great, went twice and both our servers were amazing, knew the menu and everything was perfect. It gets crowded and loud. Tons of people, regulars there when we went. So might want to make a reservation. We ate half the menu one night and everything even dessert was great! Drinks too. Good for friends and dates, maybe even teenage kids with family...

Wow is my first reaction when I visited this restaurant for the first time last week. Went with a large group of 12, when we arrived our table was ready. Our server was patient, kind and helpful during our ordering process. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better!

The bar itself is dramatic, a wall of bottles backed by bold red shelves. It all adds up to a room that feels like someone put real thought into every corner. We ordered the Ginger Turmeric Martini, which is made with Citron Vodka on the menu but we swapped in ISCO Gin; a substitution the bartender handled without hesitation. He mentioned he adds a tiny pinch of salt to some cocktails to brighten them up, a small detail, but the kind that tells you they actually think about what they're making. The drinks were served in cut crystal coupe glasses with a small edible flower floating on top, and they tasted as good as they looked. For food, we went with the Chili Cauliflower and the Dal Makhani. The cauliflower came out crispy in all the right ways, each floret holding its texture under a sticky, lightly sweet heat with a bit of tamarind that shines right through; tangy, a little smoky, deeply savory. The Dal Makhani was exceptional. The lentils were cooked with real intention, not reduced to mush but offering just a slight pop, and the overall flavor was rich and complex in a way that made it hard to put the naan down. Speaking of which, the garlic naan (sans cilantro, seeing as my partner has the gene where it tastes like soap) arrives charred and pillowy in equal measure, loaded with bits of fresh garlic. The service matched everything else. We were greeted warmly, and the staff genuinely seemed interested in getting to know us rather than just moving us through. That kind of rapport is rare and, when you find it, you notice. A spot we love to visit whenever we are in the area, and for good reason.
