Orange Tokki is a place located in the Mitsuwa Marketplace at the Del Amo Mall. I have been there numerous times, but on a recent trip, I found Orange Tokki, which offers Korean hot dogs. And Korean corn dogs. I love Korean corn dogs. They were kind of a rage for a little bit - but, in recent years, I have not been able to find them as quickly. You could order meat, or cheese, or combination, and you could also have it with potato breading around it. Once they give it to you, you can put ketchup or mustard or sugar crystals as toppings. When I took the first bite, it was crunchy and cheesy, because I ordered the mix with the cheese. So delicious. ORANGE TOKKI is located in a food hall inside the Mitsuwa Supermarket in Torrance located adjacent to the Del Amo Mall. There is a large parking lot at the front and it's free. If by some unknown reason this giant parking lot actually got full, the mall's parking structure is next door. There is a kiosk at the front where you can put in your order. They will call your number when your food is ready. There are plenty of chairs and tables at this food court. The HALF MOZZA & HALF HOT DOG is actually delicious. I've had some that were tasteless without the HOT CHEETOS coating. Also, they were very generous with the HOT CHEETOS coating, maybe because it's an additional charge. Love coming to this place for quick bites at mitsuwa! It's a small shop in the corner inside of the food court and they have lots of Korean snack options like a variety of egg toast, corndogs, tteokkbokki, and drinks! The best part is how you can put your own seasonings for the corndogs! There's a self service kiosk which I mainly use to order but you're able to also talk to the staff at the register. Service time is average. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats throughout the Mitsuwa food court - I have yet to have a problem with seating even during peak hours. Restrooms are available. Parking is a nonissue, as they have both lots and garages. The food court can get loud when it's busy, but it's usually quiet outside. They have a good selection of entrees, sides, and drinks, including Korean hot dogs, egg toasts, tteok-bokki, and boba. Their egg toast is popular for good reason: the bread is flavorful and soft with a good outer crisp, the eggs are fluffy, and the sauces are tasty. I will say they are a little oily, and there could be more filling. Serving sizes are average. Prices are average to slightly more expensive, especially once you start including add-ons. Not a place I'm going to be a regular at, but I'll definitely keep it on the radar for the occasional treat. read more

I got mine with a mozza stick, which is awesome. Regular hot dogs are great as well, and my friend raves about Takis as toppings. I liked that they have a variety of sauces and powders to pair with your food. The garlic mayo was delicious. The food was filling and I couldn't finish both. The bowls of spicy noodles peak your interest, you can see Korean corndogs on their menu, and then you begin to take interest into other things on their menu. We ordered their new crispy chicken toast along with a green grape ade. Overall, it was tasty and what I expected to get. The only problem I had was with the toast sandwich. Although it was enjoyable, the chicken portion was so small and halfway down it was just toast and sauce. Only downer is that the meat is all on top when it should be mixed in the middle. The bulgogi was very yummylicious. The egg was cooked to perfection, fresh lettuce, very umami sauce, and the toast was amazingly delightful. You can order thru the self-checkout kiosk or thru the staff. Quick and good service. Ordered the blue taki dog with sausage and half cheese. About 8.60 after tax and tip. Pretty expensive for a hot dog. It was pretty good though, and I got a ton of blue taki crumbs to tint my mouth blue. I think I prefer the cheese over the sausage. Definitely well presented and tasty but I could go across the food hall and get a meal for a few more dollars. Money aside, the employees were nice and I didn't have a problem. read more

These egg sandwiches are now one of the top contenders for some of the best I've had. I sampled a bite of each one that I ordered: avocado egg toast, bacon and cheese egg toast, and bulgogi egg toast. The eggs were incredible for each one. It was super fluffy and creamy and made it even creamier with the sweet sauce that they drizzled on each one. My favorite that I kept going back for was the bulgogi egg toast. I don't know how they did it but the bulgogi was so tender and marinated in the sauce for a long time because the flavor was immaculate. What I think they could improve on is the distribution of the ingredients. The avocado and bulgogi were just at the top so after you finished it, it was just egg. The bacon one was okay but I think they do it for the other two just to make it look better. The mozza dog was also delicious. It was crispy on the outside and the cheese pull was a 10/10. I added some sugar and ketchup but I think the sugar alone would've tasted good. I can't forget to mention the yuja (yuzu) ade I ordered but couldn't get enough of especially since they put in real yuzu. I also ordered the mango dragonfruit ade for my brother and he loved it as well. I definitely recommend stopping by. It's located in a food court so you have to enter through Mitsuwa but there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. read more

*This review is solely for their blueberry milk drink* We were in the mood for boba and gave this place a try. We love blueberries so it made sense to try one of their newish drinks. We did not enjoy it. They used fresh blueberries which was awesome. I was preparing to taste an artificial flavor but it was real blueberries. Unfortunately, the texture of the mashed up blueberries along with the boba did not do it for us. We did not finish the drink and ended up tossing it. Trying something new is a hit or miss. I love Orange Tokki! If I was skinny I would eat here weekly lol. I love their k-dogs and their egg toasts! Also you have to try their new chicken box omg I think to me it's better than Cane's I love how the chicken is spicy that's why and their homemade coleslaw & fries you have to try! And make sure to eat it there while it's hot and fresh! Also I highly recommend their drinks I never order one for me, but my kids love their drinks! My little one he always orders the blue ade I think it's called. He didn't like the banana one and we've tried a few others I just can't remember, but I remember none of them were bad. Also please try their tteokboki (not sure if it's spelled like that) Service is good and staff is nice and friendly. Sometimes if it's super busy there will be a wait, but they give you a pager/buzzer so while you wait you can go order something else or go to Kinokunya gift shop and look around. And sometimes there's no place to sit, but there's always room outside too! Please check them out I feel like they need more acknowledgment and recognition. Located inside of the Mitsuwa Food Court within the Del Amo Mall, Orange Tokki offered a welcome alternative to a lot of the other mall food offerings (like for real, the Mitsuwa Food Court is bomb). Ordered the regular tteok-bokki, my teen who had never tried tteok-bokki wanted to try the rosé version, and we got a large banana milk to share. Regular Tteok-bokki: Sweeter than expected, but still spicy (but not outta control) and umami. The texture was really good, and the rice cakes were like little slightly chewy pillows. Rosé Tteok-bokki: I was skeptical but my teen straight up DEVOURED this. It was tomatoey and creamy with a light spice, and had bacon and tater tots(?!). It was super rich and pretty delicious. Banana Milk: Tastes like childhood, only now my grownup taste demanded that it be saved for dessert. It was a lot of texture, with fresh chopped/mashed bananas, and what I imagine was tons of sugar. It was refreshing and I loved it but it was very very sweet. Service was very direct and prompt, though that's to be expected in the chaotic food court. I never made it to Oh K-Dog, but the menu & execution looks the same so I'm not sure if I missed out on anything. I first discovered Korean street dogs in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, & wondered what's the deal... it's just a hot dog. We'll, it's a thing, & a crazy thing it is, becoming a popular street food. What's different is putting it on a stick (like a corn dog), battered (rice flour), & fried. The restaurant stand is inside Mitsuwa Marketplace on the northwest side, opposite of Mochill Donuts & Coffee. With the previous moniker, it was understandably easier to know what's on the menu, which consists of hot dogs (8 flavors/fillings: classic beef, mozzarella, 1/2 mozza & 1/2 beef, cheddar beef, mozza cheddar, rice cake, potato beef, potato mozza), egg toasts (5 options), Tteok-Bokki (3 rice cake options) with bobas & sparkling ades. I was meeting up with my g/f for dinner & my 13 YO tagalong wanted to try a Korean-style hot dog; I had to remind her that she had 1 about 2 years ago at 2HCD (refer to Review #636) & we weren't impressed. Right now, they're running a promo: buy 2 get 1 free (of equal or lesser value). I'm guessing they're in the soft opening phase with this marketing promo since the initial review was almost 2 weeks ago & I'm the 4th reviewer (I was a little slow to finish, someone beat me to it by 4 days). I'm game to try this street dog again... after ordering the same (potato beef) dogs, I was given a round pager; my order took a few minutes because they're fried-to-order. Orange Tokki's dog was bigger & thicker than 2HCD, with slightly higher menu prices. There's additional sauces available for dipping, H picked cheese mustard, which I didn't care for. The potato beef dog was actually pretty good on its own, though I'm curious about the other dipping sauces & condiments. The cuts of diced potatoes were on the larger size; when fried, they're almost like rectangular bits of french fries, crispy & crunchy on the outside with a mashed potato-like fluffiness inside. The seasoned batter wasn't heavily coating the hot dog so that you're tasting mostly batter... it was a good ratio of potato covered batter:hot dog. I get an even bite of batter & dog all the way to the last bite. H loved this dog so much that she had 2, & stuffed herself! LOL While I did enjoy the hot dog, it's a bit expensive & not all that filling if you just have 1. And it's not something I necessarily crave with other options in the market's food court (one of my go-to ramen shops is located here). I love Orange Tokki! They have the best Korean style corn dogs, and I love the sauce options they have at the counter. The hot Cheeto dog is covered with a lot of the crumbles so it can be used to top off on the bulgogi egg sandwich we usually pair it with. The hot dog is good, but my favorite is the cheddar-mozza dog with the regular breading. The egg sandwich can be made with a delicious garlic toast, and the eggs are so fluffy. It's difficult to eat as it gets messy, but I just tear the paper away for easier access. The new soon dubu tteokbokki was surprisingly delicious! A must with any order is the yuja-ade. They have other options that sound just as delicious, but I'm hooked on the yuja. I get my order fairly quickly even when they're busy. I haven't had to wait longer than ten minutes. Perhaps if your wait for one item seems too long, try checking in instead of waiting around for thirty minutes? Just seems like the reasonable thing to do and hurts no one to ask. I've never had a Korean Corn Dog, and I've wanted to try one thanks to social media's constant showcasing of the crunchy goodness. I went to the Mitsuwa food court and notice that Orange Tokki made them fresh. The food court was ridiculously busy, so I contemplated coming back another time to get a corn dog. But then I remembered that I would never want to return to a busy place like this, so I opted to order the cheddar and beef corn dog. Since the corn dogs are made to order, it does take around 10 minutes for the corn dog to be ready. They don't really season the corn dog for you. Instead, they have powders and condiments available for use. I opted to sprinkle some honey butter powder on the corn dog with a dash of mustard to balance out the sweetness and fried taste. It wasn't as good as I expected it to be. The texture was great and crunchy but the flavor was mute. Maybe social media hyped it in my mind, but the literal taste was boring. read more
