Great signature sandwiches, grandmas pizza, pastas, entrees and their soups are also great. Especially the lentil soup. Not to mention their bread is the best! I've had: Drunken chicken slice (vodka chicken pizza) Creamed spinach and onion (to die for) Cheese. Sicilian. All were the best in class in this area. Quick delivery. We went in at 8:30 PM for a quick slice (they close at 9pm). The gentleman behind the counter very happily agreed to make us a fresh pie despite the time. The pizza came out in 15 minutes. Wonderful people, great location, friendly service, clean and brand new, awful pizza. Tried it twice to be sure. Crust is reminiscent of Red Baron frozen. So close to being a local favorite but the bottom side tends to have a grease-on-cardboard texture going on. I want to love this place as the staff is amazing and there is no good slice pizza in the area. Maybe the water for the dough isn't cool enough... who knows. This new pizza joint is one of my (new) favorites in the area. The crispy cornmeal crust and cheese-to-sauce ratio all come together well. The wood-fired/coal oven pizzarias nearby got game, but most of the regular gas oven pizza joints in the surrounding neighborhoods leave me feeling like something is a lacking in comparison to my favorite pizzerias in NYC - Rasco's does it right. I've had the plain slice past few times but finally tried the margherita and i recommend trying as well. The margherita here is a square slice and slightly thicker crispy crust, with a richer sauce and fresh mozzarella with fragrant basil topping. Not sure if they started delivering yet but if they do, hope they can manage to maintain that quality through and through. read more

Excellent pie clearly made with love. The effort to use San Marzano tomatoes is a great touch and makes a huge difference. The crust is unique - light yet fluffy, while still being thin crust. It's the kind of crust you won't want to throw away at the end. Not overdoing the mozzarella makes for a nice light slice with some crunch, not greasy in the least. I thought the specialty pizzas here looked really good, but I wasn't the biggest fan. I got the chicken & bacon ranch and the bbq. Flavors were good but too doughy for the amount of toppings. The regular slice and Margherita pizza were good, but were on the smaller side. Also, the slices were all room temperature. read more

What a nice idea to have a place to enjoy pizza. The new Rosco's is right I the heart of Edgewater on Main Street and the pizza is great I had a couple of slices of pepperoni and a soda. They gave me a garlic knot to taste as they just finished cooking and the smell filled the store was so great I felt like it was back in the day in my moms kitchen. I had to taste and it was great. My family of 4 went to Rosco's for the first time last night right before close right after our little league game. The owner Tony was so friendly and sweet. The workers were super cool and chill; considering this was the end of the day and they were about to shut down, this says a lot. We grabbed whatever they had left, and had to experiment with the only various toppings available. We tried one with sausage, another with Pepperoni, another with broccoli, a pesto and tomato topping, pineapple and ham topping, and a white pizza. All of them were similar to a Sicilian in a rectangular shape. We also tried one triangular shaped pizza, with fresh tomatoes, garlic and fresh mozzarella. At 9:30 pm, all those slices hit the spot. The children even tried them, even though they lean towards plain (hunger would do that to you! haha.) Everyone agreed we had to return to Rosco's during their normal hours and try other toppings. My husband has been on the search for a pizzeria he likes in Edgewater; we have tried many. Rasco's has met his tastes! read more

Just ordered a sandwich through the Slice app. By mistake I selected the pickup option rather than delivery. I could not pick up the order because my car is in the shop. I contacted customer support and they told me Rasco's wouldn't deliver the order because they do not deliver a SINGLE item. The sandwich was already made, so they rather cancel the order then drive 5 minutes to deliver me my sandwich. Poor customer service, in my opinion. Especially someone who was trying the place for the first time. read more

These guys are AWESOME!! Best Italian take out in the area, and arguably one of the best Italian spots period. The pizza is fantastic but where they really shine is their pasta. Probably the best vodka sauce I've had in my life. Prices are extremely reasonable for the portion, I swear a chicken parm can last me 3 meals. Plus the guys up front are super personable and funny. Visited Rasco's Pizza with family and friends for the first time and sadly did not even get to eat their food. We were greeted by a rude and condescending man at the counter. He greeted us by saying "Oh WOW a lot of cologne what country are you guys from. We don't use that here." Now is this a way to greet a customer? It does not matter that I am an American citizen, walking in I'm a foreigner based on what I look like. His unsolicited jokes and rude comments left a really sour taste in my mouth and those with me. We informed him, his comments were rude and racist and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. This man's rudeness turned away 10 paying customers.
