Both estimators were good but Ian from peninsula offered a few more options and it turned out peninsula was about 1500 less ..apples for apples. The day that Stella, Tyler and Scott showed up they told us exactly the plan and schedule. Amazingly they accomodated working around a crazy cat we have and were very respectful of our home. When options came up (location etc) they explained pros and cons so we could make a well informed decision. I can vouch for penninsula heat on their service as they have maintained our main heat pump yearly and always have done an excellent job. I can now say if i need something done in the future , I will just go with peninsula heat... They have proved themselves to be amazing, truthful, respectful and my grandson can sleep in a cool room tonight. Thanks so much!!!

We also Looked to see if their insurance and bond were up to date and if they had a lot of violations with the state. Their quote for the replacement came in at about the middle of all four quotes and the equipment was comparable. Everything checked out For WA Energy Services. Several of the other companies had quite a few violations and that didn't sit well with us. My husband made a spreadsheet and did a pretty good comparison of everyones' offerings to make sure we were getting a reasonable deal and that what was being offered would best fit our needs going forward. Our installers, Joel and Riley, were responsive and answered our questions and concerns. They did a clean, neat install and left the majority of the job site in great condition on their way out. We did find a few sheet metal screws in our driveway, and thankfully they didn't end up in our tires, but other than that, it all looked good. It's only been a bit less than a week. The electrical inspection has passed. we're still waiting on the County inspection, but hopefully that goes well, too. The system seems to be adequately cooling our home, the heat pump is much quieter and overall, we feel like Wa Energy Services did a good job for us and we would recommend them for the purchase and installation of a furnace and Heat pump system.

Tech Tompall came out, did a diagnostic, found that the heat exchanger was fine but the fan capacitor kaput and thus the fan wasn't running. He replaced the capacitor and furnace works great. However, I am a little bit miffed at the charges. $199 service call, plus an additional $241 to install a $30 capacitor seems like an unreasonable charge. But what ya gonna do when your heat isn't working?

The technician that came fiddled around and stated he could not find the issue. I looked it over and saw the battery box was deformed with the piezo lighter, due to an inadequate heat shield. He next claimed this was a specialty part. I informed he they were a standard part on all stoves and easily ordered, if they did not have any in stock. While I was busy unloading boxes he disconnected the battery box with circuit board and drove away. He never followed up with my stove part he took and I ordered a replacement on Amazon and installed it myself. This is the most irresponsible and incompetent stove service technician I have ever met. He was not aware I previously had a stove shop.
