I brought my black Gucci jacket here because this business presents itself as a high-end cleaner capable of handling expensive designer garments. The quoted cost to clean the jacket was $130, which I was willing to pay because I expected the level of expertise and care that price would suggest. Unfortunately, when the jacket was returned to me, the black color along the edges had been damaged and now appears worn, faded, and grey in multiple areas. This was not the condition of the jacket when I brought it in. What made the experience particularly disappointing was the owner's response when I brought the damage to his attention. Rather than showing concern or discussing how the damage might be repaired, he immediately became defensive and argumentative. He blamed Gucci, telling me that he doesn't "have any control over what dyes Gucci uses" and that I "should take it up with Gucci." He then told me that he never has problems with Hermès products and suggested that I call the Hermès store to ask about his reputation for cleaning their garments. I'm not sure how that was relevant to the fact that my Gucci jacket was damaged while in his care. He ultimately did not charge me the $130 cleaning fee. However, I left with a visibly damaged jacket that originally cost approximately $3,000 and no offer or proposed solution for repairing or restoring it. If you market yourself as a high-end cleaner and charge high-end prices, customers should reasonably expect expertise in handling luxury garments and a professional response when something goes wrong. Based on both the damage to my jacket and the owner's dismissive and argumentative handling of the situation, I cannot recommend this business for expensive or designer clothing. read more

In January 2026, we picked up an order from Rave Dry Cleaning that included a pair of Louis Vuitton track suit pants, which I reserve for personal travel. I did not remove them from the protective bag until March 2026, when I wore them for a trip. On the way to the airport, I noticed a visible iron burn on the fabric. We contacted Rave immediately and brought the pants in upon returning from our trip. Unfortunately, the situation was handled poorly from the outset. The staff insisted the damage was caused at home, which we strongly dispute. We do not use an iron (we rely on a steamer), and most of our garments are professionally cleaned. When my husband asked to see their equipment, the iron they showed appeared consistent with the type of mark on the pants. While they maintained their equipment is covered and such damage is "impossible," the evidence suggested otherwise. We approached this situation reasonably, simply seeking acknowledgment and a solution. Instead, accountability was denied. Rave retained the pants for over a month, stating they would attempt a repair. When we finally retrieved them, no corrective work had been performed and the burn remained unchanged. Additionally, on another visit, my husband picked up an order that turned out not to belong to us yet were tied to our name and account. The items included high-end pieces (such as Hermes), raising serious concerns about their order handling processes. When we returned the incorrect items, their refund process was also inefficient, requiring a check to be issued instead of reversing the original card transaction. Additionally, they didn't know who the clothes actually belonged to because they had been put on our account! While Rave has handled some of our routine cleaning adequately, these experiences highlight significant issues with quality control, accountability, and customer service. Mistakes can happen in any business, but the lack of ownership, professionalism, and basic courtesy from management and staff is disappointing. I did not find the young woman at the counter particularly helpful and certainly should be dressed better in a place that quoted me over a hundred dollars for a standard dry clean of a men's suit and a woman's dress. I bought a second-hand Oxxford jacket that matched the style I was looking for, and the price was amazing. Well, when the jacket arrived, I first did a double take and wondered if it was fake because it didn't feel like an Oxxford. The fabric was stiff, and it certainly didn't feel like it was made of soft Super 100s wool. After posting in an Internet forum, I started reading about why this might have happened, and it looked like in getting the garment ready for sale, its previous took it to a high-volume dry cleaner that added starch-like chemicals and pressed the jacket, leaving it stiff. The folks at Styleforum unanimously recommended Rave. After filling out the contact form on the web site, Stu explained what he thought had happened, and that it was likely fixable, but he couldn't make any promises without seeing the jacket. So, I boxed up the jacket and sent it to them, and a few days later, received an estimate by email. A few weeks later, and my jacket arrived, very carefully packed, and feeling much better. It's soft to the touch, and drapes beautifully. My favorite detail: a previous cleaner had glued a barcode into one of the pockets. As part of the cleaning, Rave removed the barcode, too, so my jacket can hopefully forget how it suffered at the hands of the previous cleaner. Rave did such a good job that when I took it to my tailor for alterations, the tailor remarked on how wonderful the jacket looked. Was it cheap? No. Expertise isn't cheap. Is the price correct? Absolutely. If you're buying Brioni, Kiton, Attolini, etc, why would you trust them to any old dry cleaner? It'd be like taking a Ferrari to Jiffy Lube. (One last note: I don't live in Arizona. Rave has the "clean by mail" process down pat. I did consider one cleaner in my metro area, but they wanted to see the jacket in person to give me an estimate, and it's a 40 minute drive, so in spite of being hundreds of miles away, Rave was more convenient, too!) read more

Head and shoulders above your neighborhood dry cleaner. Sent a sweater with some food stains that the local dry cleaner completely failed on... twice! Had heard Rave was the place and they delivered. They got 98+% of the stain out and it isn't noticeable at all without knowing where the stains were already. Bravo Rave! -1 point for the lack of communication though. I sent the sweater, taking them up on their option to give an estimate before completing the work but a week after it was delivered I still hadn't heard a thing. No acknowledgement of receipt, no estimate. So I email and Stu jumped right on, telling me it was received and that he would follow-up with me the next business day... He didn't. There was zero more communication. A few days later I see a charge on my credit card (more than the 'average' charge for a sweater per the website but completely reasonable.) And then a few days after that the sweater appeared! No shipping notice or tracking number. I'm guessing they're just swamped because they are known for doing such good work. I fully recommend them but hope they get the communication thing under control because it is a little scary sending an expensive item out and getting no communication back! Hats off to Stu Bloom...! The meticulous work he did restoring (cleaning and repairing) my vintage clothing is so much better than I could have hoped for. Stu is a cross between a magician and a miracle worker. I cannot over state his qualifications enough or express in words, my gratitude. I purchased a vintage costume, and accessories, made of silver glitter sequin fabric and was shocked to see, when it arrived, the poor condition it was in. In addition to the strong musty odor, the inner lining was dirty and rust colored in key areas. This also included the exterior fabric. Consequently, I brought it to three different professional dry cleaning services in my area and, to no surprise, no one wanted to touch it. My next step was to browse the internet whereby I came across "RAVE Fabric Care." I called (from Canada) and left a message. Stu Bloom (Owner) returned my call the following day. I was skeptical at first but was soon reassured by his optimism and extensive knowledge on vintage fabric restoration. He detailed the work he would do and quoted me a price which I thought was quite reasonable. He also gave me a 6-8 week timeline. So, I crossed my fingers and sent him everything (9 pieces) by USPS mail. When I re-received my package, I held my breath as I opened the box. I removed and inspected each garment (which were individually and securely wrapped). I could not have been happier! To say that Stu went far beyond my expectations is an understatement. Stu, Lilly, Evelyn and the team over at RAVE define 5-stars. Every cleaners I've used in each city has been the same...collars quickly discolor and suits/pants tend to get "shine" after cleaning. Consider these problems things of the past when visiting Rave. I initially found them by luck but have found they are the "go to" cleaners at just about all of the high end clothing stores. Every summer, the Gypsies would come to our little town to set up shop and sell their wares. which included pillow cleaning and re-ticking. Since Phoenix seems to have a shortage on Gypsies, I have had a hard time finding places who clean and refresh feather pillows until I stumbled across Rave. I dropped them off and was told it may take a week or so for my 2 standard pillows to be cleaned. Cool, no problems there! They also offer mail service for people living outside of the PHX area. I got a call that my pillows were done and they are great! Nice and soft, double lined with 100% Egyptian Cotton shells to prevent mites and feather puncture. Each pillow also has a tag with a cleaned date so I know when to get them cleaned again which is a nice touch. Also included was a tag receipt #, so I know it is my pillow, and a pass for harmful substances test tag. I have a white cotton dry clean only top that I absolutely LOVE and it got VERY dingy and yellowed since it's over 10 years old. I did a google search and found a blog post on Rave's website about how "regular" dry cleaners use dirty fluid to clean your clothes. Do you actually think the "clean" the fluid and use brand new fresh fluid each time? NO! This made total sense to me. People's sweat, bacteria, dirt, body oils, are all in the dry cleaning fluid, which makes sense why a white cotton top, over time would appear dingy and not bright white. I contacted Rave and emailed with Stu. He responded within minutes. I filled out the intake form for my garment, and sent it to him the next day with the shirt. Within 2 weeks, my top came back to me SPARKLING WHITE and looking literally BRAND NEW!!!!! I was dumbfounded. It was only $30 but worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. I will entrust Stu/Rave for all of my fine dry clean only garments that are expensive or delicate. I am NEVER using a regular dry cleaner again for very important expensive items. Wonderful work. I gave them 2 vintage antique dresses to mend. One of which was very fragile and they did what they could to reinforce beadwork and the interiors of the dresses. My tailor recommended this cleaner to repair a hole in the elbow of my favorite sweater. I was just about to leave on a trip to NYC and and hoped to have it back in a few days. The service here was absolutely amazing. They told me about the re weaving process and what to expect. They also found another hole and repaired it as well. The cost was extremely reasonable. So I wouldn't have found Rave Fabricare if it wasn't recommenced to me by my cousin because I live in California. He swore by their service & attention to detail on everything he's ever taken there so when I ran into an issue with my Louis Vuitton handbag I was desperate for help! My husband knew of a local shoe cleaner that also cleans handbags so I trusted him to take it to this person to simply have it cleaned. The bag is only a little over a year old so it's still in great condition. The person who cleaned my bag decided he would paint over the front pocket to try & cover a little scuff on it. When I got it back, he had painted it an entirely different color than its original neutral tone. ( Mind you I never asked for him to paint my bag, any person with a right mind knows that you should never touch a designer handbag without the person's permission) I called my cousin in a panic & he immediately put me in touch with Yenni. We talked over the phone for about 20 mins the first time & she broke everything down in detail for me as to what steps she would take to make sure they would get my bag back to its original condition. Lucky for me, I happened to be traveling to AZ later that week so I sent it in to get cleaned. She told me it would originally take about 2-3 months and sure enough it was completed by that 3 month mark. I spoke to her often & she provided me with the BEST customer service I have ever received. I have yet to meet her, but I feel like I know her already! I rarely feel this compelled to write a review, however the phenomenal cleaning by Rave Fabricare really deserves some praise. I had an unidentifiable stain on my Savile Row sport jacket that I thought would be permanently stained. Even using what I thought were the best, and most gentle stain removal products on the market did nothing but expand the stain. After reading rave reviews on Permanent Style regarding Mr Bloom's quality of cleaning at Rave Fabricare, I decided to give it a try. I just received my sport jacket back and not only were the stains all gone, but the packaging and attention to detail must be the best in the world. My jacket was returned on a large coat style hanger, not the cheap wire ones every dry cleaner use. In addition, there was an air pillow that protected the body of the jacket to prevent collapse and creases during transport. The sleeves were generously lined with tissue paper to maintain their shape. I also noticed how the package had notes to the courier regarding which side is up, as well as not to cut with blades. This was on top of two phone calls answered by Mr Bloom himself, explaining their gentle cleaning procedure and answering the many questions I had. I didn't think this great of customer service still existed. Needless to say, the shipping to and from New York, as well as the pricey service is more than worth it. When you have a priceless item that needs to be handled with care, the prices at Rave are more than reasonable. Please maintain your stellar quality and service. I don't even have words to explain how grateful I am for this team of people. I got my wedding dress back from alterations stained 12 days before my wedding. I called 14 dry cleaners and nobody would clean my dress due to the liability of it being so close to the wedding, the short time frame, the inexperience, etc. Yeni answered when I called, quickly spoke with the owner Stu, and they jumped to help me that day and promised my dress back in a week. They then exceeded that expectation by finishing the dress a day early, and it was returned to me absolutely beautiful and white without a single bead out of place. I just walked out of Rave and I have to say I am REALLY impressed by this compAny! I was referred to Rave by a client of mine - I had a piece of fabric from a chair that needed to be cleaned. I spoke with Stu, whom I assumed was the owner, about the chair and what needed to be done to clean it. About a week later, I went back into Rave to drop the fabric off for cleaning. When I walked in, I was greeted by Stu and 2 of his staff who remembered me, the fabric and what needed to be done. Being remembered from a brief 5 minute visit a week prior really impressed me. Recently relocated to AZ. Employee was very rude over the phone to my wife, and then owner continued to argue over a review. A massive part of a business is customer SERVICE not just the end product. For example if a restaurant has great food but extremely rude and unhelpful staff they will get a bad review. That's how customer SERVICE works. I had the WORST customer service experience here EVER for ANY business . Let's go back to April 1 2013. I brought in my grandmother's vintage dress for restoration. I came to Rave because of a recommendation from a friend. I spoke to the owner, Stu, who seemed thrilled to have this dress to restore. It needed to be cleaned and have some small intricate bead work fixed- a lot of it was loose and there were 2 small (1-2 inch) places where it was missing and he said he would find the closest match on new beads for it. I was fine with it not looking exactly the same. I asked how long it would take- thinking this might be several months. He said 2-3 weeks! He even wrote it on my ticket. This was great since I wanted to wear the dress in 4 weeks on a family trip. I called the business almost 4 weeks later- just 3 days before my trip to ask if the dress was ready. The woman who answered the phone couldn't give me an answer but said stu would call me back. Let me just say that Stu never actually called me back in the YEAR long saga this turned into. I called the next day and the woman seemed surprised Stu hadn't called back. She then promised to get back to me that day. Nope. I called again and caught Stu there. He seemed surprised that I thought the dress would be ready since it needed some handwork. He did tell me that they had cleaned it. I said ok- I just called because I was told originally it would be done. He said he would call when the dress was done. I waited 3 months and called back. This time the woman who answered the phone wasn't sure what dress I was taking about. I described it, gave a ticket number, and asked the status. She said Stu would call me back. Nope. Over the next week I proceeded to call 2-3 more times. The woman on the phone said she did talk to Stu and that he said he would call when the dress was done. So basically he was NOT going to call me back. She then said that she knows stu takes a long time, but I will be happy with the work. She also said she thinks he is almost done. I asked her to verify that yes they have the dress and yes are working on it. She said yes, So we play this game for awhile. Finally in March 2014 I am done. I was willing to let them have the dress as long as they needed so that the work could be done correctly, but they were treating me like I was a bother to them. I called and said I need to pick up my dress. The lady has no record of my dress and can't find an order based on my ticket number.. I then tell her I took a photo of the dress and can email it to her right now. she says ok and then magically Stu is there and picks up the phone. He says the dress will be done by the next day, since they have to clean it due to it being in a bag there for so long. Excuse me? I was told multiple times that I would be called when the dress was ready- no one EVER called me and he was acting like I had abandoned the dress there. I wait 2 days and go there after work- in traffic it's an hour drive and I just make it before closing time. I am prepared at this point to call the police if he can't produce the dress. When I show up, he does go get the dress but explains to me that he didn't realize it wasn't done. WHAT??? In almost a year, the only thing done to this dress was a cleaning. He pointed out all the loose bead work that needed to be reinforced because it was going to fall off so easily. No kidding?! We talked about this the day I brought the dress in. He was completely throwing his staff under the bus. Stu then tells me that it will be ready within the week. He asked if it was a long drive for me, and I told him yes- in traffic it takes me an hour. He then said he would ship it to me at no charge. At first I thought this was great! He said I would be receiving a tracking number in a few days. I waited 5 days and called to ask for the tracking number. Surprise surprise the dress hadn't shipped and they said they planned on dropping it off at my house for me. An employee was going to bring it on her way home from work- sometime between 5-6pm most likely. Great. My husband was home by 4:40 and guess what- NO DRESS! GRRRR I called the next morning and was told the employee showed up at 4:45 and I wasn't home, and she called me but I didn't answer. BS! I only have a cell phone and there were NO CALLS. Plus my husband was home. I took off work the next day and showed up at Rave for my dress. Again my next step was to call Scottsdale PD. But they had the dress and I actually got it;, cleaned and fixed. And for the price he quoted me a year earlier. So- was the work on the dress good? Yes. Was the price fair- yes. However I will NEVER go back there again and will discourage anyone from going there. It took 11 months, 3 trips there, and multiple phone calls that were NEVER returned for me to get my dress. I sent my high quality down pillows in to be restored. After years of use they were yellow and just yucky looking. It was time for some serious TLC and I'm so glad I found Rave Fabricare online. Since I don't live in Scottsdale I shipped them. It was SUPER EASY to print a label online (every shipping company offers this option) then I stuffed my poor pillows into a box that I saved from a previous Amazon order. My pillows arrived at Rave on a Monday and by Thursday they were done and on their way back to me. I opened the boxes to find my beautiful pillows wrapped with care in special bags and tissue paper. Each pillow came with a detailed receipt of the weight of the down and the casing. And the returned weight of the down and new casing. It even stated if any down was lost as down dust. They are like new. I'm so happy and will definitely be using this service again and again! My pillows were about $300 each when I bought them. Rave Fabricare made them like new again for $50 each. I purchased a VERY expensive, gorgeous blue Prada handbag while in Florence this fall. The first day I used it, I was caught in a downpour of Biblical proportions and my handbag was left terribly spotted by the rain. One of my favorite things about the bag was the color, and now it was basically ruined by water spots. I didn't want to have the bag dyed black to hide the damage, so I researched high end leather cleaners and found RAVE. To be honest, I was a bit nervous about using RAVE, as there are several negative reviews here and elsewhere. However, there are also an equal amount of positive reviews. I called RAVE and spoke directly with Stu, the owner, who was very helpful. He assured me that my handbag could be restored, and said that he frequently works on Prada products, both for clients and the Prada store in Scottsdale. Based on my conversation with Stu, I shipped my bag to RAVE to be repaired. Stu originally told me it would take 4-6 weeks to finish the work. It actually took closer to 10 weeks, but considering it was over both Thanksgiving and Christmas, the delay was understandable. My bag arrived via UPS yesterday and it looks absolutely gorgeous! The color is as fabulous as the day I bought it, and there are no rain spots visible anywhere. I did not feel the price to do the work was outrageous - I thought it was fair for the amount of work that needed to be done, and for the quality of the end result. read more

Getting married in Scottsdale, shipped my dress (wanted to avoid TSA shenanigans). Wedding's Saturday, I get the dress Wednesday and there's a tear in the lace. The national chain I got the dress from is of no help. And we're referred to this place by another dry cleaner near our hotel. They say they can repair it if I bring it first thing in the morning and have it done next day. We drop it off, it's not only repaired and pressed on Thursday. I have over 20 dress shirts, each over $250 and there's no way I'd take them to a discount cleaners. They also do a great job getting stains out.
