Mountain Mike's Pizza was a huge hit at our school's back-to-school event! They catered for our families, kiddos, and staff, and everyone absolutely loved the food. We tried the cheese and pepperoni pizzas, salad, and mini churros, and everything was delicious. The pizza especially stood out--it wasn't greasy or oily, had the perfect texture, and wasn't overly salty. Just really good, flavorful pizza that everyone could enjoy! And of course, the mini churros were a favorite too! Gordon was also wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. He was friendly, helpful, and made everything so easy for us. Staff gave great recommendations according to our tastes and I'm glad we went with the normal crust that was suggested instead of the thin crust. The Everest - loaded with meats and veggies, over abundance of olives and bell peppers yum Pikes peak - loaded with meats, normally pepperoni is just okay to me but the ones on this pizza were crispy which entranced the appeal Crust was soft/doughy throughout and crispy at the bottom. My kids loved the Pac Man machine and claw machine while we waited for the pizza to come out. The pizza was fresh and made to order which is a huge plus for me. Tried the new calzones at Mountain Mike's and was really impressed! I tried two flavors: the pepperoni cheese & the garlic sauce with mushroom and chicken. Both were delicious! The crust was definitely my favorite, it was crispy on the outside, flavorful, and thankfully not soggy at all (even after a pit stop at Target and letting it sit in my car for about 30 min before I got home to eat it). Like our local MM, it's pretty consistent with quality. We got a large everest as takeout for the way home since it had been a fun day in LA and I didn't want to have to cook at home. Ordered online and pick up was easy, confirmed name and confirmed order with visual view of the pizza and toppings. This location is within a plaza with plenty of lot parking. It's clean, with decent amount of seating, and they have an arcade game. They have two tv screens for sports. It's a chill vibe. You order then get a metallic number and staff will bring the pizza to you. The staff are really nice and friendly. The pizza arrived at a good time. Amazing pizza, I've ordered all meats combo with 12" inches size. Tasty n delicious enough!!the services were excellent n very explanatory all details. Plus they cut the pizza into a smaller portions liked 12 pieces!!! More likely finger food portion!! Love that since its our first time, they explained their background and their uniqueness among other pizza chains. They gave recommendations and explained how they create their food. From their amazing service, Jesus and Prashila were very helpful and patient when it comes to explaining the menu for first timers. With their grand opening coming soon on 12/22/25, I would say to stop by and give it a try. This place used high quality products and you can taste it in every bites. However I think the price itself is a little steep. A small size of peak pike costed a little over $24. The service was incredible. The staff was super friendly and helpful during our recent visit. This was a great first impression. Now on to the food. The pizza was ok. It wasnt bad but it left a lot to be desired. I felt the sauce was very light and the crust was super thin. I feel those two things are critical in creating a memorable pizza. Again its not that the sauce and crust tasted bad but I mainly only tasted the pepperoni and when I reached the stuffed crust, it didnt really have a strong supporting flavor. It felt more of being just a vehicle, a place keeper to put toppings on, rather than having the crust and sauce being more of the star of the show and I really appreciate visiting different pizza spots because they have their own distinct sauces and crusts. Thats why I feel that this particular pizza lacked as neither crust nor sauce really contributed but rather felt like an opportunity missed. Having said all that, I would like to check back and see how this place is doing in maybe a few months and see if there has been any progress. Absolutely thrilled that this location opened. I have been a frequent at the Pasadena location and Mountain Mike's has been my go-to for a while now, not just for the pizzas but for the baked wings. This new location is so convenient, it is clean and also very kid friendly. There are a few arcade games available also. Absolutely recommend to families with small children as it is the spot for a much cleaner ingredient pizza than some of the other chains. 10/10 would recommend! If you look on Yelp and get prices they are not the same when you order pizzas! We ordered a large Everest on line it was $26.83, but it was $31.99 when I went to pick it up. Ordered a small pineapple and it was $17.99 and a small veggie was $21.99! Don't think we will be going back anytime soon. Unfortunately on Yelp it doesn't give you a break down for a SMALL pizza but $17.99 for a small pineapple is very costly! I guess we will stay home and make our own pizzas! read more
