Nice location if you have been to the restaurants that predate it. Owned by under armor and headed by Chef Patrick Morrow. Service was great, a little overbearing but good enough. I tried the jerk chicken nachos something i never would have ordered, but i enjoyed it. The drinks i had were strong, with the margarita being the strongest, the red sangria was ok. Looking forward to trying their burger and mofongo. Prices were a little up there, what is up with restaurants and prices lately lol. So, i came here a couple of weeks ago and promised to try their food, went for HH really not much of a deal two tiny tacos for $7, the shrimp tacos were ok nothing special just small. I knew i had to order something else. Settled on the burger, mediocre at best lol, small meat and the onion rings were fried in some stale ass oil. I opted for fries turns out it was yuca fries and when fried in that stale oil i took a couple and i was done. Initial bartender was aloof like a clown, the other ones were great. Drinks weren't particularly strong this go around. So, i will surmise by saying this great location, mediocre food, weak drinks ($2 off HH) and decent friendly service with the exception of dude above. read more

I went to the deck bar last week with a group of friends and had a great time! We arrived five minutes before happy hour was over and the bartender made sure to point out some of his favorites. I ordered the mango mojito and it was refreshing and not too sweet, just the way I like it. While we were there, a large storm came through for 30 minutes and the staff did a great putting a tarp behind the bar to keep the guests dry. It was great to have a bar on the harbor offering happy hour outside and not just at the inside bar. Will be coming back to try out some of their food! read more

I came here this week around dinner time and we sat out at the deck bar. We luckily found 2 seats right at the end of the bar and had a great view of the entire bar area and the harbor. I loved the ambiance of the deck bar and was glad it wasn't too busy. The food was good but I feel like it was definitely overpriced for what you actually get. The cocktails were great though! I can't remember the names of the one I got but it was delicious! It had deep eddy's lime, coconut, and egg whites, and tasted similar to a piña colada and I highly recommend trying it if you like them!! I'll definitely be coming back for the cocktails! read more

We stumbled upon this spot. I have to say the food was delicious. The Steak was on point. Also had baked sweet potato with sour cream, butter, and bacon pieces. Overall, this place is ok. Cons: -- For a place called "Raw and Refined," I was disappointed that they didn't have more fresh seafood options. There's no shrimp cocktail, fresh clams, mussels, or raw oysters (they were sold out of raw oysters when we went). -- We did had their oysters Rockefeller, which weren't very good. They were topped with way too much sauce. -- Tuna tartare was ok. It had too much sauce, which drowned out the flavor of the tuna. -- As an overall theme, I felt like they added too much extra stuff (sauce, toppings, etc) on the seafood, and then you lost the delicious flavors of the seafood. -- Service was not that good. We waited for a long time before anyone brought over water and took our orders. When they did bring water, the server held the glass from the top (and had his entire palm over the top of the cup) without gloves....and this is during Coronavirus times! Pros: - Calamari was good - Location is great. Lots of parking and you can sit on the patio with a nice view of the water. In summary, it's an ok spot. Not a place I'll be returning to (there are much better seafood options in Baltimore). read more

I feel as though there is so much potential for this place, and maybe it's because they are new that it feels like they haven't locked down the exact vibe they are going for. Don't come here if you want to leave full. The ambiance is amazing, indoor and outdoor seating is fantastic. Even the indoor seats have a very outdoorsy feel. The bar space is plentiful. The service was great. Our waitress seemed new, but she still did her best to provide fantastic service even though she didn't seem completely comfortable with all the options on the menu. The food was the biggest factor for the "average"/3 stat rating. The food was overpriced. It's not that it was bad, it's just that you cannot come here and expect to leave full. I understand the pricing, but I just don't fully agree with it. The burgers were mostly bun, not too much meat. The jerk octopus and mofongo was decent, but again, I just wasn't blown away nor did I leave full. The menu is also VERY small. And this is Maryland, where is the crab?!? The drinks were great so that's awesome. I have high hopes for this place. We just tried out this spot on the canton waterfront for the first time. Overall they are trying some more interesting things on the menu, which we appreciated. We got the avocado bowl, fish tacos, and chic pea salad with crab. All of the food was solid but none of it was spectacular. Portions were kindof small. The one disconcerting thing here was the rampant use of plastic - even in the restaurant they serve water in plastic cups! Why? Baltimore has no recycling for this type of plastic and knowing everything we know about how much plastic ends up in our oceans and as micro plastics which humans consume at alarming levels - I find this amount of plastic waste totally unconscionable. When we asked the manager about it, he was very flippant saying they used "all plastic" because of the associated pool - as if paper weren't an option. Overall, This place was OK but we will probably take our business elsewhere in the future. There are so many places in Baltimore doing the right thing and trying to leave less of a footprint. read more

I had the highest of hopes for this place! I would have rated it a 2-3 but the location is prime so added an extra acceptable star. Sadly it fell really short based on a few things: 1) Waitress couldn't give me any insight into the menu or what people liked, what she liked, etc. Everything came highly recommended. I wanted her personality and personal preferences to shine and to sell me something. Instead I was just more confused when I asked. 2) Too pricy. Great location so I get why the menu is expensive (must be crazy rent) but portions just don't equate with price. 3) Left hungry. Never a good feeling. That sad - the food WAS good. I came here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We ordered three things: oysters, ceviche and these little tuna crisps that were so freaking cute. The tuna crisps were probably #1 on the menu and a decent portion for two people to split. The oysters were good but pretty small. The ceviche really fell sort. Tiny portion, not a lot of seafood on a BIG plate. Just awkward. We looked at our "lunch" and just thought... good thing we're saving our appetite for Rye Street Tavern tonight... I don't "NOT" recommend it, but I think you can do a lot better in this area, and for a better price. read more

Been here 3x since the reopening of the city and this is probably one of the few places I'll go to for dining. I like the spaced out setup and the way the servers/bartenders move and clean as they go. The menu is limited (which is to be expected given circumstances) but I haven't had an issue other than the deserts being out the one time I wanted it (probably just a sign that I didn't need it anyway, lol). The crushes are great but my favorite is the cucumber crush and I do like the Paloma drink. I've had the crab cake meal and the shrimp! Wonderful each time. Plus, the truffle fries!!! 2/3x that I was there, the servers were actually new and they did a great job. I did dock one star solely because I walked in to use the restroom and the manager (I'm assuming) was literally yelling at our waitress...idk what happened but just felt that that was unnecessary. read more

This was my worst restaurant experience ever. When we arrived, we tried to locate a hostess for seating. There was no hostess available for several minutes. Another worker finally seated us but we weren't given menus. I went to the hostess stand (still no hostess) and got menus. Eventually, a server came to take our order. The same server hanging out by the hostess stand earlier who did not want to seat us. We ordered the crab cake and asked if we could sub a steamed vegetable for the fries due to dietary restrictions. The server said this was fine. We waited a very long time for our meal. This gave us plenty of time to endure the odor of dog urine near the seating area. Our meal finally arrived. We received a small plate with a crab cake accompanied by a few stalks of broccoli rabe glistening with oil. No condiments. Not even a garnish. No roll. Nothing. The crab cake was bland and mostly filler. I would not swear there was any actual crab meat in this "crab" cake. We picked at the food but were not able to eat much of it. The bill for 2 "crab" cakes and 1 sour iced tea came to $88, before tip. Each time we interacted with the server, we got the impression we were bothering her. I still gave her a 15% tip, more than generous considering this nightmare of a dining experience. We left hungry. read more

The staff were really nice, but the food was subpar. The lobster roll was $36, and as someone who has had lots of rolls from lots of really great places, that's too much for a roll that size. I ordered the crab cake with fries, which was decent, but the honey jerk shrimp appetizer we ordered was sooooooo bland and undercooked. They tasted like unseasoned steamed shrimp for $15. The $13 drink I ordered (something orange flavored) was also disgusting. Lastly, my friend called to see how I was feeling because she was sick. I woke up nauseous, but took a Pepto and thought nothing more of it. All of that being said, we won't be going there again. read more

We came today on Fourth of July. Should've known since the place was empty. The one time we came for "dinner" we sat at a table. Weren't given menus so by the time the server came around to get our drinks we had to ask for menus. I ordered a hendricks martini up with a twist. Server came back to ask what I wanted in my martini.... Thought that was a simple enough drink, guess not. Was basically asked how to make the martini. My fiancée ordered Tito's martini and it was all olive juice.. first disappointment. We ordered calamari for appetizer, shrimp roll and burger. I asked to sub fries with a side salad (assuming I would have to pay extra.... but they don't even have side salads). All three came out at the same time... which was not the point of ordering an appetizer so that was disappointing. Calamari was DELICIOUS. Flavorful, perfectly breaded and cooked. Loved it. The shrimp salad roll was also amazing. Burger was OK. I will say we got better service at the busy bar many times before than with this one server. I was very disappointed especially because of how empty the place was. Will only return for food at the bar in the future- drinks are overpriced and not that good. The cucumber crush was to die for. However, the lobster roll was one of the worst things I've ever ordered. I've never seen someone chop up lobster into little pieces. The whole point is to have large juicy pieces. Not only that, but it was over cooked beyond belief. Buttery rubber. I drove all the way to Baltimore to try this spot. My dinner guest and I (both AA) arrived around 11:30pm, last Friday. As we were walking up, other (non-AA) patrons were being let in. As we were retrieving our licenses, the doorman told us to hold on. The manager came over and mentioned there weren't any clean tables and we would have to wait 15 minutes. We stood back, as to wait. Other patrons (non-AA) walked up after us and were seated immediately. Hmmmmmmm We left. Very disappointed that this is still our reality in 2020. Avoid this place! read more

The food is trash! My girlfriend and I came in on a beautiful Saturday and sat down for a couple drinks and food. We both got the the mahi mahi taco appetizer, the tortilla was dry and bland. A majority of the taco was this gross sloppy purple coleslaw, so it should have been called a coleslaw taco rather than mahi tacos. The mahi itself was bland, there wasn't much flavor to it, mehh. We didn't bother ordering an entree because the tacos themselves were $15 each. If the tacos were impressive, we would have ordered more food. I came here on Memorial Day for a few drinks with friends. I'd been at this location before when it had other ownership and I'm happy to report that the current team has done an amazing reno job! Floor to ceiling windows and glass doors that open up to outdoor seating on 3 sides make this the ideal spot to grab a bite and drink on a nice summer evening. There's not a bad seat in the house. I was expecting it to be crowded and chaotic as Soft-Openings usually are. Instead, it was lively but flowing. We were seated right away and the service was quick! I would highly suggest their Cucumber Crush. It was light and fresh! After a few rounds, we moved to their outdoor bar that overlooks Swim Club and the marina. Again, great service outside as well and even better views! We definitely plan to come back soon! read more

What was terrible were the cocktails themselves...I asked the waitress for help on deciding between two cocktails. I ordered what she described as her favorite drink. Let me tell you...it was undrinkable. It tasted like straight dirty dish water. My friends couldn't drink it either. I sent it back and ended up getting something else. It was okay but really sweet and not worth the month. The food is good but not worth the money. The plates are pretty small and not what I would describe as shareable. I wouldn't go expecting to get a full meal. Maybe a snack.
