Definitely the best Harley dealership in the area! Everyone is always in a great mood! You can feel the energy when you walk in! They have bike nights every other Thursday and they are giving away a Harley at their last one! I was there this week and got some awesome new Harley sneakers and of course the obligatory dealer shot glass (really cool tornado & lightening design on it) and a Rawhide decal! Someone from customer service called later and I told them about my problem they said that they would send a fax and someone would call me back. Never heard from them. There was a certain bike they had that I wanted to buy. I contacted them through the website and they called me the next day. I explained I wanted to buy this 2014 bike but due to work I couldn't get there till the end of the week. I was told the sale price on that bike ended today if I didn't get in there. They instead tried several times to get me to buy a 2015 which I did not want. I had just one day off so I wanted to get the financing done with my bank and told them I could bring them a check. They still kept trying to get me to but a 2015 model. They would not even work with me so I could purchase the bike I wanted. Not a very good experience from this dealership. read more

Yesterday I stopped in to Rawhide to look at adjustable platforms for my bike. As I was leaving I looked over the inventory out front. I found a Street Glide for roughly 12,000. Looked it over and talked to a sales guy. Has fewer miles then mine and all the extras I would like to put on mine at some point. But I was not in the market to buy. Got home and started crunching numbers as the more I thought about the bike the more I wanted to see about maybe getting it. The wanted roughly 12, 000 and I knew I could get at least 8500 for mine. 3000 difference, no big deal. So I go back and look some more. Has the Reinheart pipes and loud as hell. So we go and talk numbers. They come back with 189.00 over 18 months. I tell em to kick it out to 24 which should drop my payments to 150.ish. They were going to give me 9000 for my bike. 3000.00 difference base would be 125.00 a month. I go to talk to the finance guy. Now I have a clean title and do not owe anything on my bike. He talks about the VIP plain and warranties (good investment), etc... Now the price has gone up to 189 a month. I ask him for how long? 60 months at 4.25%. Now wait a minute. How did we go from 2 years and 150 a month to 189 a month for 5 years. On a 2006 (which I was never told the year). So lets do simple math (without even figuring in the 4.25% (That they said they had to "fight" Harley for...BTW I have excellent credit. 189 a month for 60 months comes out to 11340. But the difference between their bike and mine was only 3000. You are telling me VIP (which I would decline) and the warranties are 8340.00. It was ending up I was buying their bike at sticker price and just giving them mine for free. I mentioned being a Shriner and a Vet as I had heard they did discounts for "Service Groups". I was told this one was low enough they would not do that. Also not long ago I had a bent rear rim and took it to Rawhide to fix. I told them they were doing the work regardless. I knew it was going to be about 1000 to fix the tire. It took my adjuster 2 weeks to get in to look at the bike (NOT Rawhides fault at all). But instead of ordering the parts when I brought it in, as I told them they had the job. They waited for the adjuster then ordered the parts, taking a week, then took half a week, etc to put then on. I had a call Wed saying the parts were in Friday still no tech assigned to do the install. I called back pissed on Saturday and by EOB Saturday it was done. I bought my first bike at Gails and a buddy took his bike in for a full LED install and it was done same day. Never again will I darken the door of Rawhide and will keep my bike and money at Gails. This is my 2nd bike I bought at Rawhide. My first was a 2019 Road King. Tim B.was my salesman. What an awesome guy. I frequently go to Rawhide for their events on weekends and to visit with Tim and all the wonderful staff. I just traded my Road King on a very customized 2017 Street Glide. I needed a list of all the options on it so I called Tim. Tim got right on it. He made the list. He took the list to Tony H in parts. Tony looked up all the parts and made a complete list. It took some time and the great thing about it neither on of the guys complained one bit about doing it. They got right on it and had the list back to me pronto. If it wasn't for Tim B. and Tony H I probably wouldn't have this bike. Thank you guys very much. Awesome guys. I live 3 hrs away from Rawhide and Randy in finance called and we went through everything on phone so when I got to Rawhide everything was done with no haggling and signed paperwork and was done in a flash. I give 1 star easy to find. Drove 3.5 hour had appt to buy a bike. Bike was sold when arrived, they tried to put us in another bike more money different color. They continue to call us for a sale when we told them to not reach out. Not one phone call from the sales agent we were speaking with to apologize, she stayed hidden when we got to the dealership. Rude, greedy, incompetent, only concerned with making $ and only interested in what we have to drive,what we want to trade in or trade up. This was a cash sale however, we are just a $ sign to them. FUNNY how many sales people are looking to keep you when it truly appeared was not their 1st intention...we are in a long line of Harley family members who wont be shopping here again. read more

Just moved to Overland Park from missouri went to RAWHIDE to pick up some parts, Delt with the Parts Mgr. (Hollywood) what a bad attitude. He acted like he was being bothered becaused I asked him to see if he had a part in stock. I thought I can go back to Blue Springs Harley and spend my money there and enjoy the ride as well. So I left and will NEVER spend a dime in this store. I bought my first motorcycle this past sunday and had a great experience. The whole staff was really nice and knowledgable. Very "family friendly". I had my 5 year old son with me and he had a blast. The bike is awesome! I got a tour of the facility before I left. They cleaned up the bike for me and delivered it the next day (because i didnt have my motorcycle permit yet) overall, it was a great time and i highly recommend this dealership! read more

I have to say when my husband(who is a Harley Corporation employee) decided to buy his bike we live in Liberty,Mo but had heard so many great things about this dealership. We made the 50 minute drive out to the dealer ship and was extremely happy with everyone we met and the process of him buying a 2013(he bought last year)went smoothly..any interaction after that was always positive. Sept 8 2014 Harley had there open house at the plant. I bought a pair of Harley cowboy boots from Hannah the rep from Rawhide at the plant.she was personable and great. Then my husband decide he may want to buy a 2014 CVO so the following week we went out to Rawhide and the new sales manager was actually trying to say my husband needed to put down $8,000.00 to get the CVO...that was kinda shady how they were trying to negotiate so my husband decided to leave his Street Glide in the service department until all issues that should be warranted were taken care of. Meanwhile I brought my boots back and wanted a half size bigger. Hannah was there and kindly did the exchange-I even gave her one of my custom magnetic bracelets just because she had been so nice the times I had dealt with her. I also had asked that I have a copy of my recipt where I paid emailed or mailed to me and she assured me she would take care of that. In short, I called a total of 6 times after that and talked to Hannah who had said she had forgotten and then I talked to Kim the manager in motor clothes and she assured me she would mail it. We went over the address to make sure accurate and as of today I still have not received. Not sure what is going on with this dealership but I decided not to call again. I give people so many chances and then I am done. Hopefully this review will get me my receipt I need since I paid over $250.00 for them...SERVICE is everything...I spend good money and I am respectful I expect the same in return. I just recently purchased my first motorcycle from Rawhide Harley-Davidson. I went in for my mother's birthday to get her a back seat and pegs for her bike, and wanted an estimate quote on what I should be expecting to pay monthly for a 1200. Seth Browning was my sales associate and helped guide me through any information I was looking for, so we then ended up talking about how I could walk out with one. A worker named Justin then helped me get an offer on my trade in and I ended up buying a brand new 2020, 1200 Forty-Eight Special with 7 miles on it leaving the showroom floor. Both guys were very cooperative helping me purchase the bike and meet my needs. I was then greeted by a lady named Jaclyn gave me a tour of the apparel department and sent me away with my Rawhide shirt and a new pair of riding glasses, while Capp took me to the sales office and made the deal even sweeter by helping me get the best financials I could as well as getting me signed up for VIP. Over all, everyone was very nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant and full of laughter. I look forward to seeing these people on my maintenance and mileage checkups at Rawhide. read more

We were pleasantly surprised when we received a call from Jakob in service who was fantastic from start to finish that the service technician Mike informed him that after full evaluation the bike would not need the worse case repair and to call me and come pick it up. This was the very next day vs a week later. So even though we gave the go ahead for the $800 plus repair they were honest and had my bike in and out and it is working perfectly. It is refreshing to know a service dept. is not looking to milk you for whatever they can. Thank you Jakob and Mike! read more

No wonder Rawhide is rated F by the BBB... Rawhide Harley Davidson must hate women and vets - worst shop I've ever been in. Not saying all the sales staff are cheats and liars but the young female and African American man made it very clear they own this shop and if I don't like being treated this way I can leave. I am a former vet and a female and they made if very clear vets and females are not who they want as customers. I just wanted a good bike. I've been riding for 15 years and I even work on my own bike. I'm not ignorant about bikes. They refused to show me anything under $40,000. I went to Worth Harley Davidson up north and was treated completely the opposite. I'm not a very big gal and they hooked me up with a bike that fit me, was affordable, and they made me feel like family. I ended up dropping $25,000+ and I felt like I got my moneys worth and they appreciated my business. F you Rawhide. You are not Harley-Davidson and should not be allowed to use that name on your building. Fakes, haters, and unpatriotic. Not all employees there must suck and I feel bad for the ones who are on the up and up but you need to quit and go to a real Harley dealership. read more

We purchased a Street Glide and were happy with the process from the moment we walked in the door to the time we rode away on our new Harley. They won a customer for life when I had a need for assistance with the bike the next day. I was moving The bike in my garage and it tipped over and was propped up slightly by my legs but I couldn't lift it up. The store manager drove to my home, helped upright the bike and gave me some needed pointers on how to best move it safely. (It's my husbands bike and I was trying to "help"). Needless to say, it's rare to have such personal customer service. These guys are the best in my book. read more

HORRABLE!! My experance here was unbelivable. I was going through a divorce and the ex wanted her name off the harley that i had and loved at the time. Instead of trying to help me keep the one I had, the were only intrested in making me trade in my old one for a new model. Unknown to me at the time, ( it wasnt explaned to me very well) I ended up paying 26k for a bike only worth 13k. I belive that they raped me at a time when I was vulnerable, took advantage of me and used the situation so that they could move a new unit off the lot, and make a Sh*t ton of money at my expence. Purchased new Fat Bob. Took several trips before deciding what i wanted. Big Tim was amazing through entire process, very informative, NEVER pushy. I wish all salespeople were this way. He earned our business. We could have saved a few bucks elsewhere perhaps, but the experience with him sealed it. Justin and Pete were good to deal with while trying to come together on numbers. After sale, Dustin (parts) Brooke (service) and Camille (merch) were amazing as well. Randy in the business office was a class act, awesome experience. Store was closed before our paperwork was done, yet everyone stayed to see us through the process. Music, cheering, ringing the bell, etc., after we finished paperwork. They def go out of there way to make sure it is an enjoyable experience. One last person, Jerry, who delivered the bike (after hours) was incredible... did not rush us, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable before leaving to end his day... all this on the day before a holiday! Take that into consideration, and you can tell what type of people are working here. I will definitely be doing more business with them. read more

I bought 2016 streetglide from these people with a 120 motor on it. The motor had already been installed before I ever saw it. I was told I would not be charged labor or mark up on parts. They could of cared less....every deal was overpriced or they offered nothing for your trade...Guess they need lots of capital to open that new fancy store in West Palm Beach Fl....yep check the facts...Tried to buy a bike here several times since they opened but this was hands down the worst. I received 3 emails from Rawhide Harley with internet specials I spotted a fatboy for 10999 their internet special. I went in and found it. I had to ask for help to see about the purchase. I did get a nice sales guys who was new but went out of his way to help me. Thank you Chase. The NUMBERS guy Bobby was a joke. He saw a woman and thought easy sale. When he showed up with his joke of a offer (with bbq sauce all over his face) Suddenly the price is 13999 I told him the price was wrong and he said no that's the price I had to prove that I got a email FROM RAWHIDE HARLEY and then they would honor it. I showed him and left. Really !!! Oh and Bobby said as we were leaving I will call you later and as you guessed never heard a peep. THEY WILL INCESSANTLY HARRASS YOU. Somehow they got my cell phone number. I do not own a Harley Davidson, nor am I one of their customers. How they got my number is a mystery. Especially since I am on the "No Call List". I get automated solicitation calls from them weekly. On 5 different occasions, I have called them and asked them to stop. Each time they assured me that the calls would stop. Straight lies; because a few days alter, I get another call. Conveniently for them, the person in charge of Telemarketing seems to never be there when I call. The CSR tells me that even if you are on the "No call List" they will still call. I've written them and threatened legal action, but they still call. DO NOT LET THEM HAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER! read more

They generally will not just give you the price on a bike unless you tell them you are using outside financing. They are 3 to 4.5k higher than the other 4 Harley dealers in the KC area and that doesn't include there " Fixed Fees " which can add up to another $1500. They like to sell based on the monthly payment . If you buy here make sure you have all the details on paper in front of you before signing . They had an F rating by the BBB ,but now the BBB says they are out of business. Your best bet is any of the other Harley dealers in the area . Always go to the Harley website to check MSRP on the bike you want before going to the dealer . The days of Harleys selling for more than MSRP are over but no one has told Rawhide yet. read more

Called to get a price on a used motorcycle and was told internet lead that they needed to get with a sales manager about pricing and they would get back to me in 1 to 2 days. How does it take that long to response to a customer about a price? Of course did not get a call back so called back to be informed that it was sold. The bike is still on the website. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the folks at Rawhide Harley for any sales or service needs. Been going to Rawhide Harley for the last couple of years. They are always courteous and friendly, salespeople are present on the floor, but they're not pushy or ignore you if you're not in the market. Service department is excellent, they are very diligent during check-in, asking lots of pertinent questions and doing a walk-around before your bike is taken in. All services are explained and reviewed beforehand, and I've never had a surprise charge. All in all, yes, they're a dealership, so they'll sell if you're in the market. But at least they try to match your wants and needs to a bike. But if you're not in the market, I've never had a bad experience, and staff members I've interacted with remember me from visit to visit. read more

Ok, Bought a 2014 Street Glide Special during their "End of Year Blow Out". They started the price out approx $3000 more than the HD MSRP. After listening to a song and dance about how HD requires them to 'go through a specific process' before getting to the 'real price', I got up and left. The salesman had recommended a place to eat and arrived there and I did end up buying the bike. Fast forward to 2 months later- After waiting for the HD survey for a month, one they were very anxious for me to give them a rating of 10 across the board, I called and was assured they would send it again...another month passed, and I just went there to finish my poker hand and get the shirt they promised me. Guess what? Lost the poker paperwork! After the very nice lady (not kidding, she was a bright spot) tried 'redoing' my poker hand, she found out that I was not on the list as buying a bike!! Explains why I never got any calls / emails after spending almost $30,000 at their place of business! Even though the salesman and manager were aware of my aggravation, they left it to the nice poker lady to call me and offer a $100 gift card to apologize for their lack of customer service. Very, very disappointed in the management! I voiced my concerns, very valid concerns, on their customer service, and to this day, the poker card lady is the ONLY one who has called me to try and make it right!!! Wait, I lied.....I did get ONE phone call from the dealership after I bought the bike. It was a salesman wanting to know if I was still interested in buying a Harley. I will never return. I felt that the they were pushy. They try to fast talk you, where you may not know what is happen. After asking them to run my credit to see if approved, which I was. They sent me to pick up a book as if I had brought a bike. When I told the guy that I had not brought a bike, he was shocked that I had not. When talking to the finance dept., I asked why would you think I had brought a bike without riding it? They continued offering me what they that were deals, but it was bull shit. I did not buy a bike. Then I was given a $7000.00 credit card without my consent to apply or activate. I did contact the fraud dept at US Bank, and was told that fraud had taken place. Who I don't know. Point is they did not ask me if I wanted a credit card. I did not call to activate, it so I should not have gotten a statement. What they offered for my bike was really low, what they wanted for their bike was really high. By the time I left they had reduced their bike, and increase the amount offered for my bike. By this time my view is that they will try to get over on who will let them. I would never trust them. Oh also after I received that card, trying to talk to the finance dept was impossible. read more

I'm getting frustrated with these guys. I've spent a lot of money here on both my Harley's. Recently brought my 2012 Ultra for the 10,000 mile service and fluid leak. $1150 later still have drops of fluid on garage floor. Brought it back, ended up with scratch and now a noticeable click when throttling up and down. Upon throttling up and down it seems to be engaging transmission hard, almost sounds like shifting but it's happening under throttle. Never had this sound prior to service and their adjustment of clutch and replacing shift shaft seal. They did something wrong and of course they claim no knowledge. This will be the fourth time taking it back, hope to get rid if the new noise because a 2012 shouldn't develop new loud noises after service or leak. Just hope it's not scratched again. When I pointed out the 2 inch scratch the service associate said "I didn't realize I should take pictures, it didn't happen here. Had I known I needed to take pictures I would have". My response, "I wish you would have because your dealership did this, I know my bike and it didn't come I'm with this". It was clear as day because I have black bike and I noticed it in 1 second. Thanks! Maybe fourth time is a charm. It's the last time they'll touch either of my Harleys. read more
