She was clear and very communicative about when I could expect my items to be ready for pick-up (an extra challenge with the global supply chain issues). When we hit a snag on just one (of the many) bathroom items I ordered, she and Tom jumped through hoops to accommodate me and fix the problem. The quality of the products they carry is pretty high end so they are more expensive than the big box stores such as Lowes and Home Depot but it is of course expected. You can tell they are very well built. We did run into an issue with one of the parts for our bathroom shower fixtures where the delivery date kept getting pushed out. This was due to the vendor moving their production facility but Eric kept pushing for the delivery and it ended up getting delivered earlier than the vendor committed to so that was good. Overall we are very happy with Splashworks and would highly recommend them.

When we finally received the kitchen faucet and had it installed, there was significant leakage. Per our contractor, the item was obsolete and so old that the gaskets had deteriorated. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.

The prices are great compared to other custom vanity places. The store is huge and seems overwhelming. They carry a lot of products for your kitchen, bathroom and other rooms in your home. Since I was focused only on purchasing a vanity, I tried my best not to look at all the other products they carry, such as floor tiles, wood floors, bathroom tiles, shower fixtures, toilets, mirrors, shower doors, etc. So much to look at!! Richard helped me with my questions. He was knowledgeable and patient. He showed me comparable products around the floor then put my order together. Most items are in stock! That's great!! No need to wait for delivery. What I like about PHD is that I can purchase my products and my contractor can pick them up. I don't have to haul a vanity in my tiny car. Returns have a restocking fee. My wife and I found out we were expecting, so we immediately wanted to renovate our kitchen as…read morewe've been wanting to for a while and knew it would be almost impossible to do within the next few years with a baby around. Not knowing where to go and or how to even start with a short window, we found our way to KZS. We were greeted by Lance as we walked in and he was extremely helpful from the start. He showed us ideas of kitchen cabinets based on what we were thinking, came to our house to help with measurements, and then showed us a 3D image of the kitchen and we loved it already! We also didn't know of a contractor to help build it for us, and Lance said he had contractors he typically works with and recommends, which was perfect so we didn't have to go find our own. After finalizing the design and measurements, his contractors started and finished in just over 3 weeks - including demo, adding a kitchen electric sub panel, new flooring, removing a wall and pipe that was inside the wall. I thought that was extremely fast, which was exactly what we were hoping. I definitely recommend KZS and especially Lance if you're looking for a nice and affordable remodel!
