Had my 2 car garage epoxied in February 2015. I had a medium use of flake, white paint, and two clear coats. My floor needed to be diamond cut as well, due to previous oil, paint, and other stains. The guys who did it were on time and very quick. The garage looked amazing at first. I did find a few hairs and a brush bristle in the clear, but that's hard to keep from happening. Summer comes by and the edge of my garage near the door starts to yellow. Well, that's disheartening. A few spills of anti-freeze and more yellowing that I can't get rid of. Otherwise, the floor overall still looks alright, despite the blemishes and yellowing. Quality of work is 5/5. The epoxy hasn't really held up to the abuse though, which is why the 4/5 star rating. To their defense, during the consult, it was recommended to go with more flake to combat blemishes since I went with white painted floors... Although I don't think it would have prevented the yellowing. read more

I have always wanted to have my garage floor epoxied and seeing it was empty during a renovation, now seemed to be the time. I hired Raxmasters to do an epoxy color flake seal on my garage floor. At the initial consultation was super informative. They answered all my questions before I even had a chance to ask them. Addressed all of my concerns and showed flexibility when it came to personal preferences and color. I had a few other companies in town give me quotes and consults, but Raxmasters seemed to have the best knowledge and pricing out of all of them! I communicated with them primarily through text, which for me is a plus. We scheduled the work for about two weeks out (which was relatively quick considering some of the other companies' timelines). Also, because it was a surprise gift for my husband's birthday I wanted to pick a color after I told him about it. We diligently researched and shopped around for a couple of months. We received several quotes from low $1200 to over $4000 for a 3 car garage. Don't be fooled by the lifetime warranty being offered or telling you the custom coats that they use which boils down to the same everywhere. We chose Raxmasters not only for their fair pricing but for their professionalism. We called over the weekend and He tor responded right away and came to our house on a short notice. We constantly rescheduled our install date because of other ongoing renovations in our house. The installer installed the rack exactly how I wanted it and came out good. If you try and do this yourself it will cost more and you won't get as good of coverage. Those kits only come with a tiny bag of speckle so you have to buy like 3 kits and rent all the equipment and do all the labor! It's worth having these professionals do it! It was a three day process. Day one they sanded our floor and prepped. Day two they lay the coating and speckle. Day three they seal. It looks great! Jerry installed my garage storage racks last year and I was satisfied with the quality of work. Although I had difficulty getting hold of someone at Raxmasters to set up appointment last year (It took about 2 weeks to just get hold of Jerry for an appointment), he seemed like a nice guy and I was happy with the storage racks. Fast forward. Being a loyal customer, I contacted him again last week to have additional 3 storage racks installed today at 8 am. Today appointment was set up a week ago and was confirmed for 8 am today. Jerry texted me at 7:55 am and mentioned that he would be at my house an hour late. I replied and requested that we reschedule the appointment for next week when it is more convenient for him. He called and seemed very angry, stating that "I really don't do installs anymore and I am doing you a favor by coming over." I am sorry Jerry, but I am about to spend another $1000 with you and you are considering this a favor?? My advise to everyone, if you are retired or have a open schedule and can accommodate Jerry's busy life then call him. I forwarded Jerry's info to my brother and he tried to get storage racks installed, but he is not as patient as I am and after leaving 3 voicemail for Raxmaster, he decided to go with another company. The sad thing is that the product that is being installed by Raxmasters is very durable and I wish that there was another vendor installing these storage racks.
