Very inviting and cozy vibes at Il Tavolo! The bartenders and servers are quick and friendly. We've shared a few apps at the bar before and they were pretty good-- meatball parm and chicken parm. The shrimp oreganata is amazing. The pizza bread is a pass for me. Last we came they offered us to sample the stuffed calamari and pasta, which was delicious. Can't wait to come back!

    Fabulous food & cocktails

First visit to Hoboken and we were blessed enough to find this authentic Italian restaurant with just the perfect ambience. Homemade meatballs were delicious. Burrata cheese appetizer was a huge win! Every one of our seven were happy with their meals. Relished memory of dining here

We enjoyed the grilled octopus and breaded fish here. I would say the sauce for the spicy chicken Parmesan with rigatoni is too tart. Not sure if that's the intention of the chef but it felt like I was chicken chicken picata. The servers here are nice but.. The food took a really long time to come out.

Had a very good experience here last night. Service was 5/5, drinks 5/5, apps 4/5 and my entree was 4/5. I also think pricing here is solid and nothing felt like a ripoff which is becoming more common in today's day and age. Will certainly come back to try more dishes. Got the long hot peppers for the appetizer and those were very good. Thought the portion was a little on the smaller side and thought the stuffing inside could have had more sausage. My entree of chicken picatta had exceptional flavor and the egg batter was the perfect texture. Capers nice and tangy and the sauce was very tasty without being too salty. I believe the linguini was homemade. I also felt the portion was slightly lacking. Everyone else at the table agreed that the food quality and taste is incredible here. Would recommend coming.

Good food and drinks! And so baby friendly. They have a huge back room, a changing table in a family restroom, and the wait staff is sooo sweet to the babies. I never thought of this as a baby friendly restaurant but add it to the list.

The service here was very lovely. We had rotating waiters and they all were very helpful and attentive and kind. I loved the options on the menu and will definitely be back to try more dishes. The ambiance was dark, romantic and perfect for date night. We ordered Granny's Meatballs as an appetizer - delish! The ricotta on it hit the spot. We also ordered the spicy rigatoni and the chicken parm. This was probably the best chicken parm I've had in a long time. The chicken was crunch and well breaded with the cheese perfectly melted and the sauce was delicious. The serving was also enormous, this is easily a dish for two people. The spicy rigatoni definitely tastes homemade and is quality, but not quite the spicy kick I was looking for and the sauce was more of a pepper and onion tomato base rather than a specific sauce. This is something I'd eat at home which means it's certainly delicious, but not quite what I was expecting. I'm looking forward to trying their burrata and ragú next time!

Holiday decor was great! Food was very good, gluten free pasta available & the staff ensures you are aware of contamination. We went to the back room that also had a holiday party going on, was a bit disappointed to be squeezed in there, being bumped into constantly. They should have allocated more room for the party and not try to also fit in additional tables for other guests. in the future, will be requesting we sit in the front area.

Service is friendly and welcoming, informative and patient. Food was great! I eat Italian a lot so didn't expect to be given options that would greet my tastebuds with such delight! Both the bar and resturant gave me a great experience and night out. Me and a friend were there at dinner time, and everything was truly well made, hot, and so very delicious! We made reservations, so the Seating was fine, in the back room of resturant. The space was clean and atmosphere was happy, very social and just positive vibes all around. Five stars and highly recommend this gem.

Very good Italian restaurant in Hoboken but could use a few slight improvements. I came for brunch and ordered the Stuffed French Toast ($15), which was good but I thought they could've added more of the cannoli cream inside. Also, while the bread was soft, I would've preferred if they used thicker bread like brioche or challah bread. The way they did it, it was just two pieces of thin bread put together. In addition, the menu said it had chocolate chips and maple syrup on it, but they were no where to be found. Still, it was a decent French toast. I also tried the Italian Country Chicken and Sausage Gravy ($23). This was actually delicious. The chicken was cooked really well to be tender with a crispy crust. The sausage gravy was just the right consistency and paired well with the chicken and potato wedges. The sunny side egg on top completed the dish. The restaurant itself has a nice interior with one section with a bar and a larger section in the back with a nice lighting fixture in the center and tasteful Italian and festive decor along the walls. The dim lighting and exposed brick walls give the place a warm and homey atmosphere. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there were only a few others dining at the restaurant so it was a bit of a quiet environment. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The service speed was pretty fast. Overall, while the French Toast could use a few improvements, the chicken and gravy was great, plus the nice environment earns Il Tavolo di Palmisano a solid 4 stars from me.

I liked chicken cutlet. Thought it was one of the better chicken Milanese's I've had. But taste wise the burrata was just not there. It made my stomach hurt a bit. Which is a shame as everything else was good.

A quick TikTok search led us to this little gem, and it ended up being the perfect choice for our group. The restaurant is small, cozy, and has such a welcoming feel. We ordered several things to share, which I loved because it gave everyone the chance to try a little bit of everything. The pasta was definitely the star of the meal. It was perfectly chewy and cooked just right--not overcooked or mushy. Honestly, the pasta deserved a show of its own! We also enjoyed the focaccia and the bread-and-butter spread, which were both delicious. The chicken, however, wasn't my favorite. If I had to order it again, I probably would have skipped it and just focused on the pasta and other dishes. My cousin also ordered a pizza, and it looked absolutely delicious and filling. There was plenty to go around, and we even had leftovers to enjoy later. Overall, this was such a great find, especially for a group with different tastes and dietary preferences. I'm really glad that random TikTok search brought us here!

The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

I was a big fan of both, especially the ricotta, which was so incredibly creamy. For the mains, everyone's fresh-made pasta was excellent. I ordered the Mexican street corn, which was unique, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried some of the spicy rigatoni and loved it. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.
