I have been here two time's now the first time i went we waited in line for a while but it was worth the wait the waiter was great and he gave great advice on what to eat i got the seafood platter which was great the catfish was well cooked and the shrip had a great taste to them i substituted the crawfish for alligator and it was very good as we'll. If you like seafood it is a great place to eat!. My problem was with the second time the wait was shorter but it took forever to get a waitress to take our order also she told me i couldt substitute the crawfish for alligator this because the weren't allowed. I came here with a friend to celebrate the whole Mardi Gras thing since they had really great specials. At least I thought. The drinks were ok but I expected more. The shrimp was good .75 each though. I asked the waitress about the rat tails and if they were spicy. She said no they aren't spicy we take all the seeds out of the jalapeños and soak them so there's a little kick but not extreme. Man!! They were so hot they could not have done all that. I ate one and was done. I told the waitress they were way too hot for me and my friend can we send them back and ordered something else. It wasn't until we left my friend realized we were still charged for them. I think I like the Stafford location better. It's a little more friendlier over there. Let's begin with the slow service. It took forever for drinks to come and refills were asked for more than once. The food took along time to come and it was warm at best. This restaurant doesn't even deserve a star when it comes to Customer Service. Today the manager by the name of Ashley came to our table and told us we couldn't be served as we had a party of nine and there limit was eight however the nine person was a baby in a car seat. We were seated right next to another family (not even 3 feet apart) and when we asked to move to a table located 6ft apart they told us No because it was closed. She told us we couldn't have half our party split and told us we had to leave. This is racist and discrimination as I noticed we were the only Hispanic in there and asked us to leave. Great place to get Cajun food! We arrived to Razzoo's and only waited about 3 minutes to get seated. Once we got to our table we waited about 10 minutes till we realized our server hasn't even came to get our drinks or even came to say hi. Then another waiter Tyrone must've seen that we haven't been acknowledged and came right over and asked if a server has been over. I said no and he apologized and started to ask for our drinks and we had our son and asked if we wanted to put in his order right away (which was great cause he was hungry). He really was an amazing waiter. He made up for our 10 minutes of waiting without a server. He helped us on the menus even gave us a taste sample of the sauce because he wanted to make sure we would like it before we ordered it. At the end of the night we asked if he was actually our waiter he stated he wasn't and that another girl was supposed to be our waitress. The fact that he went out of his way to accommodate us was amazing! If we come again we are for sure going to ask for Tyron and I recommend you to as well for great fast services. Besides that our food was amazing. We got the boudin balls for an appetizer (OMGOSH they are so goooood!) My husband got the grilled alligator which he said was very tasty and would get that again. We love Razzoo's. Every time we have been in (either with our without our kids) we have had great service. They almost always have Lone Pint Yellow Rose on tap (my fav). It's probably the best chain I've ever eaten at, but it's still a chain. I had a sampler type thing with a couple types of rice, some corn, a sausage, and it all tasted fine. Not amazing, but solid. Ordered the Cajun 2 ways for $15. The portions were really small, almost anemic. The etoufee can in a small bowl on a big plate, with about a dozen fried Crawfish. The side I choose was red beans in rice. By far the Worst red beans in rice I have ever had. The beans weren't whole, they look like then blended them make them go further. Razzoo's has good food . . . if you're not trying to watch your weight. I am and would love the option for steamed/grilled veggies or something, but that is a corporate issue, not a local one. The reason I am leaving this review is that I just received the best service I have had in years from a server named "Sieara" on a very busy Saturday night. We had a 3-party birthday dinner for a friend. Sieara saw the birthday gift before the birthday girl arrived and pre-ordered her dessert so it would be a surprise. She then got sat a party of 15+ people. I thought to myself, "There goes the good service." I couldn't have been more wrong. Sieara didn't miss a beat at either table - drinks always full, food arrived on-time and correctly and pre-bussing was great. I thought the dessert would be forgotten . . . It wasn't and was beautiful and delicious. Plus, she was happy and full of personality. I waited tables and managed restaurants in my younger days and loved it. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that in today's culture and climate, most servers couldn't care less about the dinners' experience and often act as if your presence in the establishment is an inconvenience to them. ZERO STARS. I understand people have restrictions due to covid. We had a party of 8 which was their limit. We had another family coming to eat and we understood they could not be seated with us. Then they said they wouldn't seat us at all if we knew more people that were coming to eat their, even though they were their own party separate from us.
