Razzoo's was a place I would love to come and enjoy Cajun shrimp and food. The shrimp used to be large and plump. Same basket shrimp I used to come and order is now small and looks like it's rolled thin to make the appearance of the shrimp look like they are large. They look like the bottom of the barrel left overs. Their Hush puppies were hand made, now they are a frozen concoction and deep fried. The basket came with two sides. So I ordered double fries. The portion was small, I questioned the amount to the waiter and he too noticed the amount and got me more. The staff was nice and friendly, the food has definitely changed. This is probably my last time at Razoos. Pretty sad used to love this place. The struggle is real.

We went to Razzoo's for my daughter's birthday and the atmosphere was great. I had the Cajun Fried Steak and I enjoyed my dinner.

Great service and good food. We ordered the rat toes and they were delicious. The Charles chicken wasn't anything special and the pasta jumbalya was good but could've used more seasoning.

The food at this place is stellar but the service here is a little frosty. I actually felt unwelcomed with how cold the waitress was. The catfish was cooked amazingly well. The fish was light and flakey while maintaining a crispy exterior. The sauce is a great compliment to the fish as well. The chicken on the Zydeco pasta was moist and well cooked. I probably will order food to go in the future rather than dining.

I got Cajun 2 ways with crawfish. I liked the ettoufee. The crawfish was alright. I think I prefer them in dishes instead of deep fried though. My bf got blackened chicken and it was alright.

THE PUNCH BOWL IS BACK!!! I love coming here! Good spot!! Never had a bad time here!! first you need to get the punch bowl and rat toes!! The rat toes are so good!!! The beers are nice and cold!! The stuffed shrimp is so good - my favorite dish here!! This is really good!! The Jambalaya Pasta was my first time getting it and it was really good but the shrimp was too smelly for me and it didn't taste good either!! Not all the shrimps tasted bad just some. I would get this plate again hopefully the shrimp is good next time!! But the punch bowl is back!! YESSSSS ! Food and service are always good here!!

The overall experience was great. Our sever was welcoming and accommodating. We arrived to the Lewisville location at about 11:50am and the place was pretty empty, which meant the expectation were high for fresh food! They delivered on fresh food!!! The ambiance is your typical New Orleans style decor- lights , color and rustic. Let's get into the food: The butterfly shrimps, catfish and fries were fried to perfection- they had the perfect crunch and not overly battered. The sides were subpar- the slaw lacked sweetness, the rice and beans was bland.

Solid place to get some N'awlins flavor. The etouffe is the perfect comfort food on a gloomy, rainy day. Try the grilled alligator jambalaya... the side of green beans is delicious! Make sure ya complement your meal with one of the specialty drinks and take home the bread pudding. I say take the sweets to go coz you probably won't have room for anything else after your meal. Buuuuut... the bread pudding is to die for. Everything is worth the calories - I promise.

The lobster tail was a bit tough and overcooked, which is a waste. Mussels were good too. Garlic noodles were not our favorite. Corn and potatoes are good, but they're a bit stingy about it only giving you one of each. When your seafood boil is $70+, you should get more than one of each. The flavors linger in your mouth for a bit. It lingered for almost 2 days for me, but would definitely return!

Unfortunately, the service was questionable. Our server had difficulty communicating in English, which led to a costly misunderstanding. When we ordered crab, she never asked what type of crab we wanted and instead assumed king crab, which is significantly more expensive than other options. As a result, our bill was much higher than expected. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill without it being mentioned to us beforehand. While restaurants may choose to add gratuity in certain situations, customers should be clearly informed so there are no surprises. My advice: enjoy the food, but be very specific when ordering. Confirm exactly what type of crab you're getting, verify the pricing, and check your bill carefully. Also remember that gratuity should be clearly communicated and not assumed. Better communication would have made this a much better overall experience.I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Great food, but the service and communication issues took away from the experience.

The spicy seasoning with the shrimp and crab was amazing. Not overly fake butter tasting with a comfort spice level for me and plenty of good flavor besides the spice. The corn, egg, and potatoes were a little overcooked but they were still superbly seasoned. My partner's krab platter was a little less impressive, only because the lemon pepper seasoning was weaker than we would like. If it had come with some lemon wedges, we would have been over the moon. This may just be me, but my sauce didn't taste like much other than pepper. I was expecting more lemon taste, even more butter taste, and the sauce I got did not deliver. The sausage was also meh. However, I enjoyed the corn, potatoes, and the crab was so well cooked that it came out in big chunks almost every time. I also felt like I got good value. The atmosphere felt just a tad dingy and we did wait a LONG time for our food, nearly an hour. So while I enjoyed my meal to an okay degree, I don't feel the largest inkling to return. I felt a very large letdown with the sauce I chose. My bf on the other hand noted that he would be interested in coming back and trying something else.

When I walked in, most of their televisions were tuned to the same NFL football game in Fox, two sets were on the local NBC affiliate and only one on a Spanish-speaking station showing soccer. Regulars must come here to watch American football rather than soccer. One of the reviews for the Dallas location described it as a Mexican Hooters. Ojos Locos is better described as a Mexican Hooters. Since the menu has a traditional American-style cheeseburger, I describe the chain as a Mexican-American Hooters. Unfortunately, the waitstaff failed miserably as a Hooters wannabe. I arrived before the shift change. Neither the day-shift nor the night-shift bartenders introduced themselves to me. Nor did I even see a hint of a smile from them. As a Hooters wannabe, I expected and observed them smiling at the regulars. The night-shift bartender even introduced herself to a couple guys sitting by me as I saw them awkwardly shake hands. The bar poorly handled the shift change. At some bar & grills, I had been asked to tap out. When I asked for the check, the night-shift bartender was unable to get it from the Point of Sale system. Fortunately, the day-shift bartender had not left. At shift change, she transitioned into a waitress. When a manager could not assist, the night-shift bartender had to ask the day-shift bartender for assistance. Not wanting to be that customer who orders American food at a Mexican restaurant, I ordered the Golazo Taco Plate with beef. The three street tacos were not sufficient even with the rice and beans. In hindsight, I would have opted for a fourth taco. Of the two salsas, the red was medium-hot and the green was mild. They did their job of providing flavor. As expected, I saw a variety of both draft and bottled Mexican beer. What surprised me was the availability of non-alcoholic beverages, such as, Mexican Coca-Cola and Jarritos. One final note, the night-shift bartender surprised me when she came to collect the signed credit slip. I do not recall someone collected it in my presence.

There's not very many pictures to reference the size. The chef's choice sashimi platter range from $39.99 to $119.99. I had to pull up Yelp photos and with the help of the server, we ordered the medium platter for $59.99. As we waited, we were given a plate containing edamame and what appears to be fried pieces of fish skin. It was unexpected and tasty. The sashimi platter was fresh and contained a nice variety of fish and other seafood. I was surprised to see octopus and clams. It was served on a bed of radish, which I love, with sliced jalapeños and garlic on the side. There's no question the seafood is fresh here. They have tanks in the front containing lobsters in the front. The tanks are clean and there's no funky odors. This place is very traditional. Service was adequate. They have a self serve station where you can get your own water from a water cooler and additional silverware, sauce cups, and napkins. Took my niece here for a birthday dinner of her choice. It's right by Paris Baguette and she's always been intrigued by it. She thought it was just ok. Overall, I think it's a nice place to get fresh seafood but it's not a place I see myself coming back to.
