I've had several moves in LA, and this was by far the best moving company I've used! They were efficient, prepared, professional, and careful with my items. Most importantly, they were FRIENDLY and just fun to be around during one of the hardest days someone could have (moving day). They actually made the process way less stressful. This company was patient with me when I didn't have everything already perfectly packed when they arrived, and they helped me get everything in order. (I've had OTHER companies get upset if there were any unboxed items and then just throw things in boxes haphazardly, but not MC Professional & Easy Moving!) We're very slow. Driving was also very slow. Took almost two hours to drive 60 miles. Many boxes were broken open, flipped over, and a few were completely destroyed. When asked they said the charges to the half hour but when they finished at 5 hours and 25 minutes they charged us for 6 hours and said that they already gave us a deal by not charging double drive time. Non of that is true but if it was there should be some type of professionalism and discretion and clearly in this review, which shows that they are horrible to work with. What I didn't know was the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WAS ABOUT TO GET FROM THE OWNER. 1st issue : not both of the movers were into the job, one was doing most of the work. 2: you could feel the lazy energy in the air I'm not sure if I got all this treatment due to me being a young single female but I DO NOT RECOMMEND. 3: Upon destination arrival they had some issues due to the small elevator but there was also steps. They could have for a fact moved the couch via those steps. One of the two movers did not want to be a team player and put in work. I hired them to move my stuff and that's what I paid for but they didn't even move the couch. A one day move that was 5 hours turned into 2 days because apparently they needed another guy to move that couch. Like I said it could have been moved via the steps the main guy just looked like he didn't want to put in all that work. 4: HAD TO PAY TWICE OVER A MISTAKE THEY MADE. I had sent over pictures of my couch and my appointment was booked THEY DIDNT BOTHER to ask me any dimensions of anything so I figured they're pros they know what they are doing. IM THE CLIENT NOT THE PROFESSIONAL MOVER SO I JUST LET THEM TAKE THE LEAD. Due to them not asking me details about the couch they couldn't move it. I had to pay 250 EXTRA so it could be dropped off the next day. Ultimately I wouldn't recommend this company the guy made me cry once we got off the phone he needs to be trained in customer service I was telling him issues and he was blaming me/ he would talk over me, he said I was one of the most difficult clients he's had. I'm assuming because I called him out on the BS of a moving company that he has & even if he didn't like that I STOOD UP FOR MYSELF, he's a grown man running a company he shouldn't be acting the way he is, I'm just a young lady, clearly has no respect. I know how scary it can be to deal with men and you're the only female and this man only made it worse. I GOT BLAMED FOR THINGS AND GOT SCOLDED. I told him I would leave a negative review I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE AND I AM GIVING AN HONEST REVIEW. Danny walked through my house reviewing all of my belongings we needed to pack in a POD. He confirmed everything would fit and asked that I box up everything for a flat fee price & timeframe. Time got away from us and we weren't able to box the last bit of things up but figured we had enough room to fit everything even if it was loose/medium items. The team arrived on time and got to work really fast. Periodically, I stopped to make sure they knew there was more to pack because the pod was getting really full and still a lot needed to be packed. They finished on time and were ready to close the POD door when I noticed there were at least 8 boxes, a vacuum cleaner and 8-10 planter pots among other things that were never packed. His excuse was that he told me to pack in boxes. Doesn't make sense if you left boxes out? They agreed to come back and had me unbox 5 boxes and put clothing into garbage bags that they shoved into the POD. All in all, annoying outcome with scratches on wood furniture but nothing broken. Had to ship 5 big boxes across country to where we were moving ~$75. A careless attitude because we left many semi pricy things behind they couldn't fit. Also cannot locate Apple iPods and TV remotes. I've worked with worse movers but have also worked with better. read more

Scheduled two moves on the same day with MC and spoke to Danny about it. One from a storage unit with a two bedroom apartment in it, to my new apartment. Then another from my one bedroom to the new apartment. The price was competitive and they responded extremely fast, were available and willing to do both in that order. Had to figure out the day they'd be available and it turned out it would be the last day we were in the old apartment. Storage unit - new apartment, then old apartment - new apartment. The storage unit was in Glendale, and both apartments are in Brentwood. Basically down the street from one another, less than 1 mile. I had to make sure everything was running smoothly at the old apartment. Finishing up packing, cleaning the usual stuff. So my pregnant wife went to the storage unit to make sure everything was going well. They packed it up and moved it to the new apartment. She says they moved a little slow when I was on the phone with her but I told her it's probably because it's hard to move in a storage unit with the boxes she had. The trouble started when they got to the new apartment. My wife shouldn't have moved ANY boxes. She's 8 months pregnant. Apparently they were just putting boxes down randomly in the new apartment and not stacking them very well. Not leaving paths to the back rooms, putting things upside down, and not coordinating with my wife. Two of the gentlemen spoke Spanish and very little English, my wife speaks English and basically no Spanish. No disrespect to them, but she didn't know how to communicate to them where things go. Danny also told my wife that they might not be able to do the second move even though we had texted about it, and talked about it to confirm that that's exactly what we need. Two moves in one day. We figured we'd get a better rate doing both the moves in one day and with the same company. We also had to be out by the end of the day. They weren't available the day before for both, so we had to cut it close to work it out. So after they dropped everything off they showed up to our old apartment. I get them to pull it around back and once they're about 5 minutes in Danny says to me, "Anything past 4 is overtime." Well, okay? What am I supposed to do at 3:50pm on our last day in the apartment? Say, "Never mind. My pregnant wife and I got this." A little upset but figured to me it looked like they were working hard I was also busting my ass. I don't mind helping, I'm in good shape, and can carry a lot so I started grinding it out with them. To my chagrin my wife told me that they moved much faster when I was around. Once they left she told me how she had to move boxes, pick up boxes, flip things, and push things aside so they could have a clear path. It took me a few days to process it and figured I'd right a review. All in all, I'm not upset about the price, or the movers at all, just that my wife who's 8 months pregnant had to touch boxes at all when there are 4 guys who do it professionally are hired to do so. She explicitly said, she moved A LOT of boxes. REPLY: Call a spade a spade. I moved 3x faster than ANYONE on that crew. You shouldn't hire guys if they can't move stuff. I didn't use a dolly once for a single box. I carried 3-4 at a time while your guys took minutes to load a dolly with the same amount. I made multiple trips in the time it took YOUR employees just to load the dolly. We never said anything about crowded. It's a move, obviously it's going to get crowded. It's two apartments obviously it's going to get crowded. Lacking common sense to hire employees that can 1) Do the job. 2) Do the job efficiently 3) Have the common courtesy to not have an 8 month pregnant woman move boxes OUT OF your way so YOU can do the job better, falls on you the owner. read more

One Star for Dany! However he hurt his back early in the move and was replaced. I moved from 2bedroom in Agoura Hills to 2 bedroom in Long beach. Had a sectional to place in storage and exchange with another sectional from storage which was 7 miles from moving apt. It took them 9h to collect and next day 6h to just unload. They took the wardrobe box that provided so took more time for them which added to the price. They damaged lots of furniture which I will let you see in pictures. They are going to come fix some of them but definitely they cant fix broken glass of my sound system stand. My sectional has 2 legs instead of 6 and they said they will send replacement 1 one week or I have to purchase them because is not their fault. I paid 3000+ Also because I did not have $3000 cash at home and used credit card they charged me $120 Anyways, enjoy the headache with this company. I wish I could upload the videos I have that showed how they moving furnitures. read more

I was a bit anxious leading up to the move, but the team showed up on time and worked very quickly and efficiently. They also were super considerate of our 6 month baby and made sure to set up her room first so she could nap. I just finished my move with Danny and his team at MC Moving and WOW! I am so happy! They answered my Yelp inquiry very quickly with their pricing and availability, then when I was ready to book, I believe it was Celso who called me within 5 minutes of me sending a message to confirm my move and followed with the Yelp confirmation in writing. I was very happy about this because I was booking 4-5 days before my move, so I was relieved they we're still available! Movers arrived at my home right on time as they had confirmed with me and texted earlier in the morning to give me a heads up of their ETA and once they were close by. I was very impressed at the time it took them to load everything from my house, drive time (thankfully there wasn't much traffic) and how efficiently they unloaded everything at my new place. Pricing was very reasonable and I forgot to get cash ahead of time, but it was fine because there was a small surcharge to pay by card (other moving companies usually add on $10+/hour to their rate if you're paying by card!). Overall the move was 5 hours if you include the double drive time and I am so happy with how everything went. I will absolutely be recommending this team to anyone I know looking for a moving crew. The move started off well but as the hours dragged on it was clear that Danny and his crew were not prepared for the job at hand or simply misquoted the time and effort it would take. We were told it would take 4hrs for 3 guys to move a 3bd home. The move began at 8:30am and didn't finish loading from my old home until 1pm. 4 1/2hrs just to load the truck and then not everything was loaded, items were left behind. The only excuse Danny could give me was that there's just too much and we'll have to come back. (Which also never happened) Once the truck arrived to my new home it took another 4-5hrs for them to unload and reassemble furniture that was taken apart. POORLY REASSEMBLE! My 1yr old's crib had screws hanging out of the bottom that I had to go back and tighten/screw in myself. When Danny left I made him aware of a dent that they had put in my brand new refrigerator. Without even looking at it he immediately said "I didn't put a dent in your fridge I removed the doors so it must have already been there! I'll send a guy to come by in a couple of days to fix it." No guy ever came by. Upon further inspection the front door and walkway to my home was damaged from furniture being forced through, dressers loose and wobbling. It was clear the later it got in the day, the more careless Danny became in his efforts to make sure him and his team did a good job. I paid over $1000 for the move, I tipped the guys $200 and paid $55 for their lunch (before I saw the damage to my home). I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. The day before moving, I decided to reach out to confirm that they would be arriving at 8am the next morning (moving day) since I hadn't heard from them. To my surprise and disappointment, they later sent me a text (at 8pm) making up some weird story, saying they never "heard back from me" and took me off the schedule! I immediately sent them screen shots of our text conversation which included their original confirmation of our booking! They left me with no options and no solutions in the final hour. I ended up having to rent a uhaul and spent the day moving from 8am-1am!!! To say I was disappointed and LIVID is an understatement. I am warning you, do not count on this unreliable, dishonest company. The red flag was that they didn't require a deposit at booking. I should have known not to trust them...and I urge you to consider this as well. Don't let what happened to me happen to you. Update in response to their reply... Very disappointed! I had read the reviews on YELP and thought these guys would do a good job. They were responsive and quoted me 4 guys at a price that seemed reasonable and comparable to other companies. I checked in regularly to make sure they would come on the scheduled date. Danny called and texted me the day before and I thought things would be great. He also showed up exactly on time. However, they arrived in a small truck with only three guys. I was told I would pay less as a result. They were not wearing masks - and they had to go back to the truck to get one to put on. Then things got worse. They turned several of my dressers and chests upside down spilling and mixing up all of the contents. Now the drawers won't close on one because the items fell behind and are in the way. They took forever to load up the truck with items from my house and I had everything packed. Then I asked if they would have room for the garage items and was told "no problem". But when we got to the garage they said they would have to make two trips. I knew this would end up costing me more - which it did. They then took a 30 minute lunch break and said they would meet me at the location in 45 minutes (the new house is 10 min away). An hour later they returned and things got even worse! They just threw boxes any which way with no rhyme or reason. They were stacking boxes and furniture where other items needed to go. I had to tell them to bring in the rugs and put them down or they would not have loaded them until later. I was angry and frustrated. Danny thought I was worried about price but I was upset with the movers (who did not speak English or understand what I was telling them. Danny was the only one who spoke English). They left heavy pieces of furniture in the wrong locations forcing me to move them myself. I paid for movers so I wouldn't have to do that! When loading items to my garage they did not leave any pathway so that I could access things in the back. And they didn't wear their masks at all. Finally, when it was all finished, Danny had the nerve to ask me to tip the guys. He basically pressured me into it and then seemed disappointed at the amount I gave. They charged me for 10 hours which included their lunch and breaks. I timed it on my phone and total start to finish was 10 hours. I didn't know I had to also pay for their breaks. I wanted four guys because it would take less time and cost less. But I ended up paying much more than I anticipated and got lousy service. Do NOT USE!
