They went the extra mile very professional. It all started off a call for a quote, and I am speaking with Veronica sales representative, who reached out to provide me a quote. She had the most upmost professionalism provided us. Excellent customer service and the quote could not be beat. We receive VIP Treatment. Victoria was very understanding of the timeframe that kept changing. She went the extra mile exceeded our expectations. We receive an appointment time with one of the team members video chat he provided us with excellent customer service. We went over all the different items that we plan on taking with us. We were Well, prepared, packed and organize. When the movers arrived on April There were five team members, one for men, Fernando, and his team. Everyone was kind polite, nice super helpful. They took very well care of us. I felt like this is how customer service should be with every company. They even want the extra mile. To move a few things onto the curb for Us for both trash pick up I appreciate it Fernando and his team they got everything taken care of the truck pack in 2 1/2 hours or so. Very well oiled machine everything packed they headed to Vegas met with them the next morning at the storage unit With two guys again, Fernando and his teammate got us taken care of the storage loaded in a timely manner. I have used Prodigy Moving and Storage three times this year. Once for a big 4,000 square foot house move and another two times for a smaller two room move. I have to say all three times they have been outstanding. Prompt, efficient, careful, collaborative and helpful are words I would use to describe the service. From the booking experience to my experience with the crews that have come out, I have been impressed. I especially loved my latest crew of Mauricio, David and David. They were so efficient and careful and really took the time to make sure we were completely happy with the placement of our furniture. I've moved many times and this was by far the best experience. Fernando, Carlos, Gerardo, and Fabian were friendly, careful, and didn't leave one scuff on our newly painted walls. They packed carefully and quickly and cleaned up when they were finished. They asked where we wanted each box and piece of furniture. Plus, they were enjoyable to be around. We have a giant 5.5' tall cactus that weighs over 100 pounds that needed to be moved. They packed it better than the garden store where it was purchased. Prodigy movers and all the 6 men involved in our moving process were outstanding!! I must say when I price checked the company it was the lowest quote I received. Not to mention, there was no in-home estimate given. Based on the square footage of my home, bedroom count, etc, Abby said it would take 3-4hrs with 3 men and one truck. It took me by surprise and made me question, "Why? Do they do a poor job? Do they not return everything? Are they going to scam me into needing another truck?" I was a nervous wreck but in the end choose Prodigy based on all the 5-star reviews on Yelp and Google. From start to finish the communication from the office, to the men who showed up and worked hard (knowing they were paid by the hour) and in the summer heat. They cared for the furniture and belongings like it was theirs. Due to our escrow process, our furniture needed to be stored in their facility, which was another thing to be nervous about since Abby said the first 30 days were free! "Would everything come back?" All the other competition is charging for storage. Prodigy showed up yesterday with every box and item I gave them and moved it into our new home, scratch and dent free. We moved from Woodland Hills to Santa Clarita in June. We got a quote that was reasonable (not the cheapest) but had heard good things. They sent 5 movers and 2 trucks. They were pleasant and professional. They took apart furniture and packed hanging clothes. They set everything where we asked them to and put furniture back together and hung clothes up. The move took the whole day. The next day I noticed a problem. I contacted to company. They were very responsive to my concern and resolved it quickly and professionally. Stolen items, damaged items, badly packed items, unprofessional. Asked them to pack my things as well as move me. Two men and a boy showed up (that's THREE movers?!?) and they weren't told they had to pack me. They were the worst packers ever!!! Not only do I not recommend this company, my items were damaged from bad packing (artwork in frames set in large boxes with no packing), they broke a mirror (the boy dropped it) along with a few other things. They did not disassemble my exercise machine and damaged it and the wall of my new place instead. One of the men kept hitting on me. How unprofessional. Lastly, they STOLE things!!! A few very expensive things actually. And their agreement says they only pay you $.60 cents per pound. And some expensive things are very light. Do NOT use them!!! read more

If you're looking for a bad review, this isn't it. These people are great. We sought a few estimates for a 200-mile out-of-town move. One estimate said the move would take 3 days, Prodigy said they could do it in 2, and as a result Prodigy was lower cost and got the job. 2 days to pack, and then move and unload 2 trucks on the 2nd day. Iliya came to our house to estimate, and couldn't have been more professional to work with. He gave me his mobile so we could easily communicate. The packing crew arrived on time, led by Martin, and I was impressed by their professionalism, their friendly and courteous behavior, and their willingness to be helpful. Very nice people, every one of them. We had a fair amount of furniture to move, shelving units, beds with headboards, dressers, a large entertainment credenza with large TV, and, of course, vases, crystal, plates, and glassware. On arrival at our new house, the crew took care to place every box in the proper room, and re-assembled and properly placed the heavy furniture. When I say 'place', they took the effort to make sure we eyeballed the furniture and that they positioned things where we wanted them. We had a lot of heavy items, which posed no problem for these guys, and their assistance with placement was much appreciated. As we unpacked the boxes over the next few days, what seems like an unending task, we thought we were missing one item of artwork. I reached out to Iliya, who began an internal process to see if they had it, and was contacted by Emily, who oversaw the internal effort. In the end, we found the item at the bottom of a box (packed by us!) that wasn't fully unpacked - there was no missing item after all. But I mention this as their professionalism was again in the spotlight with the sincere and coordinated effort to find what we thought was missing artwork. My last point is the longevity of employment for Prodigy's people. In an earlier move with a different company, I learned that many of the workers were contractors and floated among various moving companies. But with Prodigy, the people I spoke with had been employed by the company 5, 7, 15 years. In my book, that says a lot about Prodigy as an employer, and points to consistency in service. I was recommended Prodigy from friends to help move and downsize my parents. They quoted me a flat rate for the move which was over 100 miles and included 2 stops, so not a straightforward job. They did a wonderful job, worked hard and quickly and were very professional. Cesar the foreman was friendly, upfront, and professional. His crew, Herb, Nando, and Omar were hardworking and knew what they were doing. They were able to navigate large items through small openings as if by magic. Horrible experience. Movers took entirely too long. We moved from one small 900 sq ft apartment to another 900 sq ft apartment 10 minutes down the road and they took 9 and a half hours! We had everything packed up and ready to go. All they had to do was move boxes and furniture. It's not like we had tons and tons of stuff. We had 3 movers and my husband caught them multiple times just sitting around the truck not working. Felt like they were just trying to rack up the hours to make us pay a higher bill. They tried to take a lunch break on the clock and we told them we were not paying for that and they would be off the clock if they wanted a lunch break and they tried to fight us on that. Once they were finally done, they tried to charge us $2,000!! My husband said that did not sound right. The man kept typing random numbers in his phone and showing us different numbers that didn't make sense. He then proceeded to demand us to give him our credit card when we had no idea what he was trying to charge us for. When we told him we weren't giving him a card until we knew what he was charging us for he started getting sarcastic saying it was adding time onto our bill. We called management a few days later and they did refund us a little but it was definitely NOT enough. We will NEVER be using prodigy movers ever again. We were a returning customer but after this experience NEVER again. They also broke items during the move. read more

From the time I began emailing Veronica and received a very fast response to my questions and her extremely helpful assistance, and then the actual moving day, this company deserves more stars than Yelp allows. Fernando, Moises and Fabian worked tirelessly. I was moving furniture and boxes from a POD and most of it needed to be sent to the dump. I didn't know everything that was in each box or whether it needed to be tossed, so they opened each box and then resealed it. Doing it all with tons of patience and a smile! We have had a great experience with Prodigy. Abby in the office was terrific on the phone and through emails. She was very clear about the pricing and contract...no surprises on moving day! She is super communicative and responds to inquiries quickly. The foreman on our moving crew was Cesar. He was awesome! He is super friendly (not too chatty though) and professional. He took the time to explain to us every detail of the contract, packing, and move. My required initials and signatures were not rushed, and Cesar understood the contracts very well. He seems to be a real veteran. The other two guys on the crew - Omar and Juan2 - were both very professional and respectful. 3 bedroom/3 bath/2 car garage and they moved everything out (and wrapped when needed) in 2 1/2 hours. They worked hard and efficiently. Prodigy is storing our stuff for 4 months. I'll wait to complete the review after everything is delivered to our final destination. So far, so good! I am so late in writing this reveiw! I recently found the notecard where I wrote the name of the team captain, Cervin, who led his team of movers impeccably throughout our move. I have used Prodigy 3 times for all my recent moves, and every time I have found them professional, efficient and respectful. I had the pleasure of working with Cervin twice (the last two moves) and he managed our transition to a multi level townhome expertly. The sharp turns, numerous steps and low clearances were navigated with a "can do" attitude, even when everyone else thought certain large pieces would not make it up to the top level. (they ALL made it!) I also have a few antiques which they handled with the utmost care. This review comes over a year and half too late. I dont know why I didnt do it sooner. I chose Prodigy to unload my moving truck after it arrived from another state. I spoke to them in advance and explained the situation. They showed up on time. They were very quick and professional. They had all the necessary tools (dollies, etc). All I had to do was to open the the back of the truck and they took care of the rest. I had labeled the boxes based on which room they go to. They put the boxes in the right rooms (kitchen, bath, bedroom, etc). Nothing broke and they even assembled my dining table for me. AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR STUFF STOLEN AND/OR LATE! We trusted Prodigy with our move, and it was the biggest mistake we could have made. They were the worst in almost every way. We paid almost $4000 to have things stolen from us and have our stuff arrived damaged and late. In fact, we had to call multiple times to even get them to deliver our belongings, and they acted rude and annoyed every time we called to check in. I thought that meant they were on top of it, but nope! On my 5th reminder call, they finally admitted they forgot our delivery and asked us to send an urgent email reminding management. Ummm...what exactly were we paying for? When our stuff FINALLY arrived, it was a disaster. Our bed was broken. They broke some of our artwork out of carelessness. And perhaps worst of all, they "lost" my entire shoe collection and my husband's dress shoe collection. We are very confident this was an act of theft as these were the only valuables that we had left behind (including our wedding shoes), so it's very odd that that exact box (out of 60 boxes) was the one that went missing. There are so many moving companies out there--do NOT choose this one. Choose a company that has values and customer service! read more

I've moved 6 times over the past 8 years here in Los Angeles, and this was the most disappointing experience I've had. Iliya was great to work with up front, but unfortunately the moving crew did not meet expectations relative to other companies I've used in the past. I believe they meant well, but the end result was quite poor. On packing day, I had to ask the crew to wear gloves while they were in my house and packing. This should be a standard practice for any moving company right now given the pandemic, and I was assured that this would be the case ahead of time. As we continue to unpack, we are seeing more and more damaged items (broken lamp shades and crooked lamps, gouges out of patio furniture, etc.), and above all, the majority of our furniture and boxes arrived exceedingly dirty, and required extensive cleaning. The biggest head scratcher was a 6 foot peacock feather that my son had in his room. I accidentally forgot to move this item ahead of time. Instead of one of the movers pulling me aside and asking me to load it into my car to keep it from getting damaged during packing and moving, the crew instead proceeded to fold and break the feather 4-5 times to fit it in a box (obviously destroying it in the process). A little communication goes a long way ... On a positive note, whoever packed my kitchen items was fantastic. Everything arrived clean and unbroken. I think Iliya and the rest of the crew mean very well, but we will unfortunately look elsewhere for our next move. read more
