Everything I've ever tried from here was delicious. My fave is their spicy wonton tom yum soup! Don't forget the spicy chicken wings as a starter!

This is one of my mother-in-law's favorite Thai restaurants. Not sure if it's because it's near her home or because the staff recognizes her and greets her warmly. The food was pretty good and we will probably return. It wasn't too crowded, which is a bonus.

My brother and I went here for dinner. My brother has really been wanting to try Thai food and found this spot not to far from his house. We walked in and was seated immediately. The servers were very nice and welcoming. We started off with potstickers and grilled king oyster mushrooms for appetizers my brother had a wonton soup for his appetizer. The king oyster mushrooms were fantastic. I am a big fan of mushrooms. The potstickers were great. The wonton soup had to be some of the best wonton soup I've ever had. Anytime I eat Thai food I order the pad see ewe. That was very good. My brother has the 3 seasoned fish. Very good as well. The place was very clean and energy was great. I will definitely come back.

such a hidden gem! on my list for top thai restaurants in chicago all the food was super flavorful and we loved all three dishes. the papaya salad with crab paste was very authentic and strong in flavor that we loved. the pad kee mao and three flavor deep fried fish were super tasty in its own way. we got a spice 3 and thought it was perfect if you like spicier food. i think any higher would've been overkill for us. overall, it might be on the saltier side, but i didn't mind too much service was good and for a thursday night it was packed. truly so excited to come back next time to try other dishes and get the papaya salad again!

One of the best papaya salads I've had in Chicagoland. It's very traditional. I go here because of that.

Indeed, this spot did not let me down! It is a small Thai restaurant in West Loop, with a large menu featuring monthly specials and quite a few dishes I rarely find in other Thai restaurants in U.S. For food, we ordered the following: 1. Khao Ka Moo: a stewed pork hock platter served with rice, pickled mustard greens, shitake mushrooms, sauce (similar to soy-sauce) and egg (which I opted out). It was my first time to have pork hock in a Thai restaurant. The meat was juicy and the skin was mouth-melting. Highly recommended. 2. JJ Tiger Cry: Basically grilled ribeye served with Thai style sides. The ribeye was cooked at ~medium well. I wish it could be a fattier cut and cooked for a shorter time, but my friend thought the temp. was perfect for her. It was served with a Thai sauce and cabbage+carrot slaw. 3. Green Curry Chicken: my sister's entree. The curry tasted refreshing and flavorful. It was also great that the dish came with both rice noodles and jasmine rice, so you can try both of them -- indeed, the rice noodles, after soaking it in the green curry, tasted heavenly! 4. Yum Hed. Grilled mushroom salad. There were shitake and king oyster mushroom. Served over a bed of fresh lettuce and a kind of spciy, sour sauce. Great as a side. 5. Guay Tiew Tom Tum Koong: Shrimp and rice noodles served in a generous bowl of Tom Yum Soup. It also had much veg. Unfortunately, I am allergic to some seafood so for safety I did not try this dish. Overall, the dishes are of medium sizes, but definitely enough for us. Service was friendly and quick. I may try more dishes the next time I visit Chicago.

This restaurant was incredible and is easily in my top 3 restaurants in Chicago. It's super cute inside, very ambient with the lit up green lights at the bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful, explaining the menu. The menu is SO vegetarian friendly!! And gluten friendly as well, just make sure you ask and they can make tweaks. Everything had such a rich profile flavor - savory, salty, sweet, spicy. I love the use of lemongrass! We tried as many things as we could fit - the mango salad (nyorm svai), bok tropp, chien trop, amok tawhou. I would've loved to try dessert but this was genuinely soo much food! They give big portions. It's hard to pick favorites because I would order everything again, but the bok tropp might take the gold. The eggplant was perfectly crispy and the sauce that came with it... insane!! Also even though we were in the more informal side, the presentation for all the dishes would beautiful. I can't recommend this place enough!

We ordered the Nyom Svai, Mee Kola, Loaded Rice Bowl with Chicken, Cha Mee Katang (with added fried egg and shrimp), and a Pandan Waffle Side. Everything had great flavors, and we enjoyed almost every dish. The Nyom Svai was a great salad paired with fried tilapia, and the Mee Kola had a similar flavor profile. Both dishes were colorful and full of flavor. The Cha Mee Katang was delicious and definitely one of the hits of the meal. We also really enjoyed the Loaded Rice Bowl, and the cheese was especially good with the rice. The only miss for me was the Pandan Waffles. The waffle fell a little flat and seemed slightly undercooked. The mango and pineapple were a nice addition, though, and the ube syrup went well with the fruit and waffle. Service here is calm and relaxed. They give you time to eat and enjoy your food, but they're always checking in to make sure you have everything you need. Overall, it's a nice spot for a relaxed brunch with plenty of interesting dishes to try.
