FYI, I did not want my money back we ate the food. But was taken back by the grapes. Went for my surprise bag. Got there around 3:15ish. Girl still setting up. . I told her I was there for the surprise bag. Said she hadn't made any yet. No problem. Well she kept setting up. I just sat at the small sexy bar. Well it took her some time to set up the surprises, I like they don't use styrofoam, who is a nice small paper box Very sad when I got home the grapes look like they had something on them and my husband wiped it. It was filthy dirty we wiped a few and it literally was never rinsed or anything. Very sad.

After being approached by the owner, Larissa, regarding my previous issues at Rebel, I truly appreciated how attentive and apologetic she was about my experience. She explained that the day I had visited they had a few hiccups, and to make things right, she invited me and my friends back. I'm glad I accepted, because this time we had a much better experience. We were served by Orin and Marcello, who were both friendly and attentive. Orin, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We had a few wine flights, which was perfect since they have a nice selection of reds, whites, and rosés. Alongside the wine, we enjoyed a cheese and meats plate that was beautifully put together and very tasty. Their house jam, definitely ask for it if you're a fan, it was delicious! We also tried the burrata fig salad, which leaned on the sweeter side but was still very enjoyable, and a prosciutto panini that complemented everything perfectly. Overall, I'm really glad I gave Rebel another try. The effort Larissa and her team put into turning things around was clear, and I look forward to coming back again in the future.

Really cute hang out spot. Perfect for girls night out. The bartender was very sweet and she helped us pick out a couple different wines to try. They do have a couple little snack options to have with your drinks.

Rebel really is a rebel bar. It is off beat like something you would fine in the Village (NYC) but this is Oakland Park. The server staff are very chill you almost feel like you are in someone's private home. There is a nice wine selection and you can order food. Either way this place has a unique vibe in a good way.

Small little wine bar in Oakland park. I came on a Monday when they had a speaker. I had a glass of prosecco and the bartender gave me a small charcuterie board with prosciutto, strawberries, and fresh mozzarella. So so good and truly appreciated. Inside is cozy, dim, background music but good for conversation. The food/tapas menu looked really good. I will be coming back with my bestie because she loves wine and this place is truly a wine lovers dream. Parking is free around the establishment.

This is a true hidden gem. Lovely and attentive staff. Great wine selection. Warm and inviting ambiance. Occasional events and Happy Hour every day (Mon-Wed open to close; Thurs-Sat till 7pm).

Decided to try for a Sunday Jazz Brunch. I got there & there was a lovely lady singing Jazz. Her name is Marlo & she is fabulous! I ordered Prosecco because I don't do mimosas but they have unlimited for $20. Also- pre ordered online- lox & toast. It was good- however, my friend had the French Toast & that looked & smelled delicious! This place has a very mellow, relaxed vibe. A small bar with lots of tables. I will definitely come back for brunch & try their other events.

We went on a Friday night at 6pm and got two seats at the bar. There were two servers working. It is a super cute place with tables and a bar with about 8 stools. The happy hour is daily 4-7 PM. Wines are $6/glass. Most bottles were priced $30-40. They have a small food menu of cheese plates. The music isn't loud so it's easy to have a conversation. The servers were knowledgeable and able to make recommendations based on your wine preferences. There is free parking in the attached lot. During September 2024, they are celebrating their 3 year anniversary. From 3:30-4pm daily, they offer free 3 glasses of wine when you order 3 appetizers.

We visited Rebel Wine Bar for the first time this evening. The decor was fun, and we really liked the overall vibe--it was busy with a great atmosphere. Our server was friendly and attentive, especially considering they were the only one working both the tables and the bar. We ordered a wine, beer, and the cheese platter. Unfortunately, the platter was a bit of a disappointment. The "aged cheddar" was actually pre-sliced American cheese cut into cubes, and more fruit, as pictured on the menu, would have been nice. While the service and ambiance were great, the quality and presentation of the food didn't quite meet our expectations.

I popped in for a quick stop to pick up some items. I ended up staying a while talking to the host/bar staff. I was so relaxed and felt very comfortable. This place is definitely a vibe. I was told about the many experiences that they host such as Sip and paint, karaoke night, wine tasting, etc. I would love to try those events out, so I'll probably be coming back.

I came here for happy hour last night with a friend. It was moderately busy, which was great, not crazy loud. They have a great collection of wines, being a wine bar. I tried two wines and decided on the riesling, which was slightly sweet. We enjoyed a cheese board with fresh fruit. The staff is friendly and helpful.

BEST PLACE EVER! Amazing wine, amazing food, and amazing people! Great happy hour and so many unique events!! Perfect place for socializing and/or doing your own thing! Go once and you'll be hooked!

The tasting was a great experience. Shout out to Rebecca. The bar area was full so we grabbed a table. It's a cute spot and has a bunch of plants on the ceiling. About a month ago I learned what Mead is and have been obsessed with trying it. Being able to ferment honey in to a wine like drink is fascinating to me. I knew we were coming down to the area for our anniversary trip. So I found this place in my search. Brewlihan and Rebecca did not disappoint. I started with the serum flight: raspberry lemonade, pear vanilla, black berry currant vanilla and strawberry watermelon. The first 2 were delicious. With my favorite being the pear vanilla. Then Rebecca started to bring me a few others to try. Nothing beat the pear vanilla. So we moved on to the full meads. So the difference is, the serums run about 5.8abv and the meads are about 12-15abv. I came home with 2 bottles of mead. The double pear vanilla and the catalyst. The double pear vanilla is self explanatory. However, the Catalyst is tangerine and pineapple age for 27 weeks in a Grand Marnier barrel. The taste is amazing. I would definitely comeback. We had a great time.

Summer are sweeter than others, but all are wonderfully designed and brewed. I will definitely be back.

Like I mean in $80 plus a bottle and being told that the wine I'm tasting has a nose of blackberry with undertone hints of peach; none of which I have ever been able to truly discern. So it was a joy for me to stop by The Simple Wine shop where I was given the opportunity to try several not to be found elsewhere wines and also to purchase a couple of bottles for myself. The Simple Wine had wines I've never seen before and a few I've never even heard of previously. So, I became completely fascinated in trying these new flavors and tastes as well as some that were familiar. The selection of Italian wines was amazing as they mostly came from small craft vineyards as in the type that would only supply a few select restaurants, but because of their limited capacity, not something like the big box wine chains such as Total Wines. Having spent considerable time in in the smaller country like regions of Italy, I quickly learned that I never had to purchase a bottle of wine as any restaurant house wines were the equal if not superior to any I'd find in a retail bottle. The secret behind it was that these restaurants were supplied by the small craft like vineyards.
