Love this place! One of our "go-to" pet stores for our fur babies :) The store is always clean and organized. Shelves are always stocked nice and neat. The employees are all friendly, helpful and courteous. They have a self-serve grooming area which is cool and someday we might try it. Our dogs love the dog parks. They have separate parks for big dogs and small dogs which is nice. Their products are well-inventoried. Lots of selections. My dog has a mix of pink and black nails. I don't trust myself enough to trim the black nails, so I decided to take her in for a trim via professional groomer. They barely trimmed the black nails, and completely forgot to trim one of them. I really wish I didn't pay for a tip upfront because I didn't notice that they had done such a poor job until we got home. Won't be going back. read more

We walked and the lady who was at the dog wash claim you were closed and was pretty rude about! How do you claim that you're closed at 6:30 when your website says another thing! Y'all are clowns! Let me start off by saying a huge thank you to Reber Ranch for not only offering doggy acupuncture, but also having it at the best price in all of King County. Dr. Hight is amazing with dogs. At least she was with our Cocoa Bean. Cocoa is a Frenchie that got injured and was diagnosed with IVDD and she was in complete paralysis in her hind side. We decided to go the natural way. Dr Hight was so honest with us and told us we could be wasting our money because she was not making any improvement. We decided to continue and in addition start swim therapy. After a little over a year and lots of Therapy (aqua, cold laser, acupuncture and 2 times daily home physical therapy) she is a happy dog. Who we have taken to reber ranch since she was a puppy for all veterinary needs and followed all shots and treatment recommendations . During my grooming appointment which was the second for our dog they informed me that she didn't have all her required shots and they couldn't see her . I work nights and woke up in the middle of my scheduled sleep to come in to this appointment if that was the case they should have let us know ahead of time . Almost three years ago, we had rescued our samoyed, Grace, from Korea, and her fur wasn't properly taken care of. Since we had gotten her, due to her fur not being given the proper love and care, she had developed matts - and we hadn't known. After our first grooming service with her, we were over-the-world with the results, and the groomer made sure that she wasn't cut too short, due to the double-coat of a samoyed's fur, and even given us tips on how to move forward and de-matt her. We have taken her back again to Reber Ranch, and they have done an amazing job with her grooming, and making sure her fur wasn't too short - but enough length for us to get through the matts. This time, the results were way below our expectations, especially with the stellar jobs done before. When our samoyed was walked out from the back, I almost felt my heart drop - she was barely recognizable. Our once, fluffy sweetheart had shrunk almost 2 sizes. My first and heaviest fear, was that her fur was cut so short, that it wouldn't grow back. Why this was the first thing that came to mind, is because the samoyed's double-coated fur, the undercoat is supposed to protect them from both hot and cold weather - but NOT against debris, water, and could be a quicker access for things to damage her sin. Another concern, is how long it would take for her to grow out once again. Again, with the research I've done, it looks like there is hope for my samoyed's fur to grow back, but it's going to take some time. There were lots of time frames that I've read and looked over, and it could take almost 6 months for just the undercoat to grow back, and maybe even longer for the "guard-hairs", which give sammies the long, flowy and poofy look, which could take +1 year to grow longer than the undercoat. We completely understand that this was a decision to make upon the groomer's, to ensure the well-being and utmost quality for our sammy's fur, but we weren't aware that the situation was as dire as it was. From the initial grooming service, and the subsequent services after that, none of our groomers had said that her fur was still matted underneath. No decision was talked by, or through us, or explained what was going on. Everyone in my family, became completely hysterical at the sight of her, and I had barely any words. Upon calling back, to express our frustrations and disappointments, we were told that there was no managers available on the weekend to explain what would be the next step in this situation. We love our sammy, and always will, and will take care of her, and make sure she will always look the best she can at all times. With her previous visits at Reber Ranch, we were hopeful she would be coming back to us, looking gorgeous like always, but we are walking away from this, completely brokenhearted. Reber Ranch has impressed us with service for pets, customer service, great doctors, products and treats at such reasonable pricing - but this completely broke our trust with them. Many places have been doing their best during Covid, and Reber Ranch has been there for us for quite a bit.... HOWEVER, they seem to make their own addendums to what the Washington State guidelines are, and are in-turn significantly disadvantaging their customers and putting the health of our pets at risk! On multiple occasions over the last year, both their veterinary and grooming services have quoted "based in Washington State Mandates during Covid..." as to why they were denying services, when other veterinary clinics and grooming salons (who were in compliance and showed me updated guidelines) offered those exact services, saying that what Reber staff was quoting was outdated and extreme. Shame on you, Reber. To you it may be a "nail buff" but it means the difference between my dog and her skin allergies being able to scratch and not bloody her skin. read more

Such a decline over the years! I was there for a confirmed grooming appointment today (nail trim) and they turned me away even though I was there two weeks ago, for a grooming appointment, and scheduled next vet appointment at that time. They said my dogs need shots, which they do, and I scheduled with them two weeks ago, when I was there, for the earliest appointment they had available in March. Why did they confirm a grooming appointment and let me arrive just to turn me away upon check-in? They could have called or text to let me know this and not waste my time and be rude and dismissive to me in person. Over the past several months I've been frustrated with the service as you're not even greeted while all three ladies sit and stare at their computers (even with no other customers present). After this event today I approached a lady who said she was in charge told her about the situation and how I've been a coming here for years for all service including, dog washing, vet, grooming, pet food/toys/clothes, even adopted my cat through the RASKC partnership there. What did she say? "Sorry to hear that." That was all, just dismissed me as she continued to talk to two other employees. I will never step foot in that place again. What a shame that the owner who built this business has people working for him who don't care at all about customer service. What a shame! *Your response is not true, or is misinformed. Of course, I would expect you to defend the deplorable service I received today. I was NOT informed prior to my visit that my dogs would not be seen or I would certainly not have scheduled a servicing and wasted my time. I made my vet appointment for my dogs shots, at YOUR soonest available time when I was there two weeks ago, for their last nail trims. Since my pets vaccine appointment was scheduled there, why would they think I went elsewhere for the vaccines? Nobody mentioned that my dogs would have to have their nails grow so long and splinter off before they would be allowed back or I would have pleaded for an earlier vaccine appointment or taken them elsewhere. Do you know how dangerous it is for a dog to have a nail break off? Look into the horrible infections they can get. Nonetheless it's about how this was handled. The service has grown so bad in that department! The lady who said she was in charge was no better, didn't even take a moment to check into it. Shows customers are just not important enough to treat with respect and common courtesy. The front checkout ladies are the only redeeming quality there. You REALLY need to correct the behavior of the Vet/grooming staff before you alienate even more customers. And based on another social media post I made, it's many people who've had bad experiences. The reason I say this, although I am sure you don't care to hear the constructive criticism I am about to give you.When I scheduled the appointment for Skye to have a growth removed I specifically asked for Dr Montgomery, and did not know she did not do the surgery until afterwards, so my request did not even matter to your facility. Not only that, when asking the vet questions about her surgery was cut short by Amalia Accord-Fey as if I was inconveniencing her by asking her questions about the surgery. I thought I was talking to Dr Montgomery but soon realized that it was not her by her rude tone and asked who I was speaking to and it was not Dr Montgomery. Not only that when I came to pick up Skye, the technicians had cut her toenails so short there were pools of blood all across my floors at home and I was concerned that I may have to bring her back in because it took so long to quit bleeding. Then when I called about it, was put on hold over 20 minutes waiting to speak to someone about it, and no one ever came back on the line so I just hung up. No one even cared enough to call me back. When the technician brought Skye out, Skye was anxious to get out and the technician walked as slowly as she could and has no idea how to walk a dog properly on a choke leash. So Skye is just getting choked to death after just being put under and having surgery and then she could barely walk after we got home because her nails were cut way past the quick. It took 2 days before she could walk properly. They packed her right ear again because they said she had an ear infection also that day. When I called to get her a recheck the technician had advised getting an appointment in 14 days, which I did, right away.Then, when I showed up today to have her ear and stiches rechecked, they said that I have to come back and make an additional appointment and they cannot accommodate me. When I asked why I wasn't told to make 2 separate appointments and why you couldn't recheck her for the problems she had been seen for on the same day no one has an answer. Then I call to see if I can get Skye groomed for another day and had to cancel her grooming appointment no one can accommodate a change until December and cannot make any exceptions. After bringing my dog there since she was born, and having my other dog put to sleep there, who was also treated there for many years have been coming there this is a real slap in the face on top of what your employees have done. You, and your business does not care about these animals or their owners. Also, while I was there, another woman I spoke to brought her pet in and had to wait over 45 minutes just to get immunizations. I will be posting your original email online in Google Review for your business, along with my response and what happened, just so your also aware. It is unbelievable that this is how you treat your customers that have been so loyal to you, and that if anyone voices concerns about anything, will be asked not to come to your facility any more. This 2 year old Australian Shepherd use to jump head first into oceans/lakes/rivers and now hides when the sink is on. Many people on NextDoor rate Reber Ranch Vet very highly and because if that I decided to try and make an appointment for my sick lab. I had brought my other lab there before and did not like the vet at all but my normal vets office was sold so I figured I would give Reber a second chance. I called when they opened Saturday morning and explained my dogs symptoms to the woman who answered. She asked if I had been there before (yes but not this dog) and in a very gruff and patronizing tone she told me my dog was dehydrated and needed to go to an ER vet right away. Shocked at her tone I said oh I didn't know you didn't handle dehydration...to which she said we are full today, absolutely no appointments are available. First, this is not my first rodeo, I have had dogs all my life so there's no need for haughtiness! Second, maybe she could of said first, we are full. First time customer for grooming. Reber Ranch canceled 2x. Came in for the 3rd rescheduled appointment with the requested rabies vaccination documents. The grooming department politely told us Reber Ranch requires additional other vaccines before our two Morkies could be allowed in the grooming department. Disappointed and sad we left. 4 hours later Reber Ranch called me to inform us they were canceling and flagging our online account and could no longer use the account without sending a Deposit $$. I explained it was a mistake/ misunderstanding and this was wrong to call and treat me & my wife like this as first time customers. Reber ranch said it is Policy and in the future you will be required to leave a deposit, OR NOT if you choose not to use our services. This place is my favorite local pet store to shop at and also my fave dog park I go to for my little corgi. I live 5-7 mins away from here and so this is a convenient place. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful and some of them even remember my dog every time we come! This place has everything-- anything for pet supplies (cats, dogs, horses, birds), a vet, grooming salon, and even a DIY dog wash that provides you with shampoo+conditioner, towels, brushes and treats. I usually prefer shopping here than Petsmart or Petco because I've noticed some of their supplies were a little bit cheaper than other pet stores (except for the toys and dog food). I also like utilizing the DIY dog wash whenever I'm too lazy to wash my dog at home. My dog falls under the small size category there so each wash is $15 for him. The dog park here is the best. They also provide free popcorn inside for anyone who wants to munch on some. I love taking my dog here and he loves it. Every time we pull in he can't contain his excitement. I take my dog to the bigger side of the dog park and it's a pretty good size IMO; not too big to the point where you lose sight of your dog and not too small. I like how they have turf instead of grass or dirt, it looks a little bit cleaner. But it does get stinky there from all of the dog poop. The dog owners knew something happened and as soon they seen me going to pick up my dog. They decided to leave & drove off. They did not take no ownership or nothing. Incident's happen, but the whole point having a pet is making sure to take ownership if anything happen! Why even have a dog if you don't even care? They are also people i've not seen much at the park. If you are going to bring your dog to the public dog park. Please make sure your dog is trained and socialized! The vets are amazing in this practice. I keep my patience with the front-end staff. More than once, they have not called me back after telling me that they will check with the doctor and get back to me. They (the front end staff) have been more than rude about my little dog that doesn't like new people, and he gets very stressed about the vets. I now check in, in the back, and just avoid the front-end girls all together. However, they still have yet to call me back about the meds my dog needed. It's been 4 days now, I'm pretty sure the vets had time to read a note and respond. so once again, just crappy service from the front. We see the vet this weekend and will ask him directly myself as I check in the back door. I realize it's hard to find good help, but these girls are just ridiculous, and this practice should care who is checking in these patients and their parents. read more

I've been coming to Reber Ranch for pet supplies and food for about 10 years and then switched to their veterinarian clinic about 4-5 years ago after adopting a rescue. Through the years I've been very happy with all aspects of care and have referred many others. Over the last year I've noticed a steady decline in "care" at Reber Ranch Vet. I am regularly made to feel like an inconvenience and today was no exception, but one of the most blatantly worst. Today we arrived for an 11am appointment at 10:55am. There were three girls on the vet side, two at a computer and one chatting with them, and a fourth girl on the grooming side on the phone. We approached the desk, giving about 4 feet of courtesy distance and waited to be called forward. Two of the girls looked at us but they kept chatting, occasionally giggling. Because they had seen us (we were the only ones in the waiting room) we took a seat to wait to be called up. At 11:05am the other party with me left in anger and I continued to wait, now just to see how long it would take to be acknowledged...I watched girls come and go, talking and laughing. Finally at 11:09am one of the girls asks me if I'm waiting to pick up. I replied that I had been waiting for nearly 15 minutes to be acknowledged. A simple "I'm so sorry I thought you had been helped" would have probably smoothed everything over but instead she chose another route and chastised me by saying, "You need to come up to the counter". So I replied, "I was standing in front of you at the counter but you were busy chatting". Then she said, "What are you here for?" I told her and she picked up the phone and said, "Nail trim waiting" and didn't say another word or look at me. I waited about 4 more minutes before walking up to the counter, rescheduling our appointment at the other location and leaving. No one said a word about us not staying for our appointment; no one tried to stop us. It's clear that we don't matter. I probably should have said something long before now, but how can I continue to entrust my dog to people who's pattern of behavior is to treat other people with such distain and disregard? I'm disappointed and sad. Disappointed because I really enjoyed coming to Reber and having all my dog's needs met in one place. Sad because now I'm going to have to search for and acclimate my dog, who is fearful, to a new veterinarian. read more

Stuff for your dog, cat, horse, bird, furry friend, etc.. literally they have everything! More diverse selection than a Petco type place for sure. They have two "dog parks" too. A long one for big dogs (or all dogs) and a designated small dog park if you'd rather have your small dog not get trampled over lol. I always go to the dog parks before going in so my dog can get his energy out! Kinda cool They have a vet clinic inside, a groomer inside, and a self serve dog wash inside! We got our pug a nail trim at the groomers and the ladies there were so nice--not to mention they did a great job on his claws! Then this time we did the self serve dog wash and also had a great experience! A worker showed us how to operate the equipment and got us ear cleaner and oatmeal bath and then let us wash our dog (without hovering over us!) For a "tiny" under 15lb dog it's $10.99 so that's all we paid and that's actually cheap compared to where we normally go. I am someone who doesn't mind the idea of dog wash places... mainly because the cleanup from our pug is terrible!! So yeah we were pleased with that price! The people there are very nice and helpful and gave us a punchcard to use for baths. There's free popcorn and water and I think coffee too, and a couch area with a tv. I'd imagine that'd be a nice place to go while your dog is getting groomed, for example. Reber Ranch also has horse boarding off to the side a little ways. Tons of riders are always there when I go, taking care of their horses and riding. It's really fun to see. My son likes to watch them (they have a little bench out there) and some even stop by us on their way to the stables and let him pet their awesome horse! read more

Came in to wash my dog and get him a new toy. The dog wash area was clean and well equipped, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The dog getting groomed while I was in there looked so calm and content with his haircut. Their retail product selection is great and features great brands and decent prices compared to other higher end pet supply chain stores in the area. I wish I would have known about the puppy package their veterinarian offers, but I only discovered it after taking him in for a bath, and my dog isn't a puppy anymore. If you're planning to purchase a pet plan, beware.They scheduled an appointment for my dogs 5-6 days after the due date for the plan and charged my husband $200+ for the service again. I called their employees and the manager and asked why this happened. They were very rude and unhelpful and the manager was unresolving and accused me of yelling, which I wasn't, and I apologized if my voice sounded loud through the phone. I tried calmly conversing with them to no avail as they said that nothing could be done and kept on insisting I apologize for "yelling at her employee". I took my puppy here for his first haircut because my sister recommended this place. He looked okay when they finished cutting his hair except when I took him home I noticed the hair on his chin was uneven. I called and made an appointment to get it evened out and specifically asked her to make it look even and trim more hair from the ears. When she was done she had cut off even more hair from his face making his head look too tiny in proportion to the rest of his body AND it was still uneven. The grooming salon and vet are both open 7 days a week. But the real kicker is the customer service that you cannot get anywhere else.
